Otis D2025-35
• Needs a resident dog to learn from
• Not cat or small furry tested
• He can live with dog savvy children
• Nees patient pawrents to help him learn the ropes.
Otis is a 4 year old Cocker Spaniel described by his foster family as being good with people in the home. He approaches when he feels comfortable to do so and then loves cuddles and will snuggle as close to his fosterer as possible. He is a very loving boy with a fab nature. He loves sitting on the back of the chair looking out the window watching the world go by.
He can be homed with older dog Savvy children, who will give him his own space.
He is not cat or small furry tested.
Otis doesn’t know how to play with toys, but will pinch toys that are lying around.
He has not been out for walks yet but has been practicing in the garden and is doing well. When he has bonded with his family and has settled things can progress in this area.
Otis sleeps on the sofa or dog bed during the day, and during the night he sleeps in an open crate in the bedroom. Where he sleeps through the night.
Otis isn’t fully house trained. It is a work in progress where he is praised for doing well and is slowly getting there.
He is fine eating around other dogs, with no guarding issues.
Otis would suit a family who is not overly noisy and who would give him his own space, when he needs it. He will need patient pawrents to help him thrive. He is a handsome boy and deserves the best. He will need another dog to show him the ropes and encourage him on his new journey in life.
