Jimmy D2022-22
• Needs a resident playful dog
• Older dog savvy children
• No cats
Jimmy is a 3-year-old miniature Dachshund who is a real cuddler and people lover. He is a little unsure at first but soon comes around. He will initially bark at strangers who enter the home and may do a nervous wee on greeting but not every time.
He has quickly adjusted to a harness and walks beautifully with the resident dog. He is happy to be out and about and okay meeting new people when strutting his stuff. He can bark when he first goes out but is just happy to be out.
Jimmy is not cat tested as there are none in his foster home. He does however show an interest when he sees them at a distance. He loves chasing things so probably best not to.
Dog Savvy children 7 and over.
Jimmy is in foster with a dog of a similar age who is very playful and they absolutely love racing around the house and garden. He will also play on his own and likes to select a multitude of toys from the toy box to test until he has found the right one for his mood. He also loves chasing a ball and almost brings it back for you to throw again.
Currently he sleeps with Foster mum and the resident dog on foster mum’s bed and sometimes in the bed. He loves to scuba dive under the duvet.
He is house trained and given lots of garden breaks and wee before bed. He is ready to go straight out in the garden in the morning. He will sometimes have a little leak when picked up (eg to go to bed as no steps) but not every time. He just needs time to settle and adjust to the family home.
Has a great appetite. Finishes his own food. Both dogs then check out each other’s bowls. He loves a treat.
Jimmy is a young dog and needs at least 1 other dog in the home as a playmate and companion. He enjoys a walk or playtime with other dogs AND his people but then enjoys a snooze. He could live with a family or older people. Not particularly a very active sporty home but not really left at home all day even with another dog. He can be left for short periods but is happiest when his human and dog friends are all home.

Ember D2025-04
• Can be an only dog with owners around most of the time
• Can also live with another dog
• No cats
• No children or older teenage children
Ember is an 18-month-old Cavalier described by her foster family as a people lover but is a bit jumpy and skittish at first. The way to her heart is through food, then she will be friends. It takes her longer to warm up to men than women but food is the way to her heart. Whilst out walking she is very interested in the people around her and will often stop and look at someone but if approached she will back away. If that new person has treats or is given treats and waits for her to come to them she will say hello and this has worked successfully several times. Like most dogs she does not like strangers leaning or towering over her. They need to approach her on her level.
Ember would prefer a quieter, calmer home with adults or older dog savvy teenagers. She becomes very stressed in a noisy busy household. Walking outside she has shown no reaction to children. She has walked past several playgrounds and schools, she would just prefer not to be in close company with them as it’s less stressful for her.
Cannot be homed with cats
Ember is in foster with a much larger older dog who will only play with her when she feels like it. Ember is fine with this. She loves to play with another dog but is equally happy to play with her toys and chews alone. She will also play tug with her foster family. She is lovely around the resident dog but not reliant on her company.
Ember goes out for two walks a day, morning and evening and absolutely loves being out and about. She goes alone as her foster sister isn’t up for long treks anymore and Ember is quite happy to go without the company of another dog. She’s a little chaotic when we first leave, weaving from smell to smell so you need to be careful she doesn’t trip you up but she soon settles down. She would however benefit from further training on the lead. If foster mum stops to chat whilst out and about she is very well behaved and will sit and wait until she’s finished. She is happy to meet polite well behaved dogs and is very polite in return. She will however shy away from in your face dogs and is wary of big dogs and is reluctant to say hello. This is getting better as long as they are calm. She loves going to cafes and having more treats!
Ember sleeps in a covered crate in the living room with the resident dog in the same room. She sleeps very well, usually from around 10.30pm to 8 the next morning. We suspect she would also be one of those dogs who’d love to sleep near their humans if allowed.
Ember is house trained but doesn’t signal so needs to be let out regularly.
Ember is VERY food oriented and very greedy!. We would recommend a slow feeder and if fed by another dog she needs to be watched so she doesn’t steal food. It’s easier to feed separately if possible. Both dogs are given treats together at the same time and Ember is very good sitting and waiting for her turn.
Ember has not had the best start in life and the last couple of months have been somewhat disruptive for her so she is looking for stability and love more than anything. She needs a family who are prepared to put in the work to make her the well-rounded dog she is capable of being. She would like an active family who will take her on adventures and lovely walks as she loves being outside. A home that is not too busy or noisy so she can settle in calmly. She can be homed with another dog who likes to play but is also calm and wouldn’t mind sharing their people and toys with a new sister. She can also be homed as an only dog as she loves her people and bonds with them pretty quickly. They would need to be prepared to have her as a little shadow whilst she settles in and work on her staying home alone.

Kenzie D2025-30
• Could be an only dog
• Could live with other dogs
• Dog savvy cats
• Older children
Kenzie is a 5 year old cavalier described by his foster family as having the sweetest nature. She loves butting you for attention and has now started climbing on her foster mum for cuddles. She has soulful eyes that have been through so much. She has a very calm nature and will not jump on furniture and knows the way of a home
She has a head tilt which the vets assume is from a trauma when she was younger. It does not affect her at all; if anything, it makes her look cuter if that was ever possible.
Kenzie loves children and when she is out and about on her walk she sits and lets the children pet her and would happily follow them for more fuss. In the home she is first in the queue to greet any visitors wanting fuss and attention. Despite her love of children she would be best homed with older dog savvy children as she can be a little clumsy. She is a gentle giant and doesn’t realise that she could bump a small child in her enthusiasm in racing for attention or food.
Although not cat tested due to her calm nature she would probably be fine with dog savvy cats.
She enjoys a little walk, especially in this nice weather and gets lots of attention when she is out. She will bark at funny noises around her but soon settles with reassurance.
Kenzie is very food orientated and is first in the queue for her food and treats. Given chance she would probably eat anything so this will have to be monitored. She will stop if told NO. She is great with the other dogs in the home and has been fine meeting them out on walks.
Currently she sleeps in the kitchen with the resident dogs.
Toilet training is a work in progress she will poo outside but wees near a door but never on a carpet. This is being worked on.
Kenzie would like a home where someone is around most of the time as she does not like being left alone. She will initially bark but soon settles and has a snooze till the food givers are home. She could be an only dog with doggy friends or live with another dog. She really is an easy dog to have around. She just wants attention and love and she will happily settle down for a sleep unless you are at the fridge …

Vinnie D225-26
• Could be an only dog
• Could also live with another dog
• Dog savvy cat
• Staffy/Bull breed experience or knowledge
• Needs to attend dog school
Vinnie is a 5 month old Staffy cross described by his foster mum as a bundle of fun. He loves everyone and everything and is a typical staffy pup who can be like a little bulldozer if he wants to see something or go somewhere. He is learning to walk nicely on a lead and loves other dogs.
Vet history to be discussed.
Vinnie is a young boisterous puppy who is learning to use his teeth and can be mouthy when overexcited so he would be best suited to a home with children that can help train him. Children of an age that wouldn’t get knocked over by him when he’s running or playing as he doesn’t have much spatial awareness yet.
Vinnie is learning not to play with the resident cat. He has no prey drive so would be fine with a confident dog savvy cat.
He loves toys and is fine playing with other dogs.
Vinnie is now learning to walk on a lead. He hadn’t been introduced to a harness any sooner due to his back injury (to be discussed and now healing).
He currently sleeps upstairs as he doesn’t like being left even with the other dogs and can be vocal when left. This is being worked on and is a work in progress.
Vinnie is a pup who hasn’t had a stable life before rescue, so house training is still a work in progress. He is getting better every day, but any new owner should expect a few accidents while he settles.
Vinnie loves his food and can eat his dinner a bit too quickly so is being introduced to a slow feeder to encourage him to take his time. Vinnie has been fine eating near other dogs and doesn’t show any resource issues.
Vinnie loves being with people and would need a home with owners around the majority of the day. Being a young dog, having a resident dog to learn from and interact with would be beneficial but as he is a confident pup he could be homed on his own if he had human company and stimulation. He loves being active so a family that will take him on adventures and give him lots of positive experiences as he grows to keep him well socialised and to teach him good puppy life lessons. Vinnie would benefit from someone with experience of staffy/bull breeds and with experience of separation anxiety or a willingness to research it and work with him on it.

Connie D2025
• Needs a resident dog
• Fine with cats just curious
• Would benefit from attending dog school
Connie is a 4-year-old Cocker Spaniel described by her foster family as a happy but shy girl. Once you gain her trust, she’s a happy, fun dog to be around. She can be distant with men but not aggressive over time a relationship will be built with men, but it will take time and some good treats. Currently, she’s a woman’s dog.

Connie is unsure of other dogs when out and will pull and bark. She needs guidance on how to behave like a lady and for her parents to advocate for her while she builds trust and friendships. If they are calm and approach calmly with Pawrents agreement she is fine but her pawrents need to choose her friends wisely. She does not like other dogs running into her face out of control.
Connie is ok with children but would not suit a busy, noisy household. Teenagers who will respect and give her space when needed and who will help with her training would be fine. If the house is too noisy she retreats to the safety of her crate.
Connie is fine with cats. Just curious
Connie loves playing on her own as well as other dogs. She loves playing fetch with the resident dog.
Connie can walk on a collar and harness but requires further training and support. As a Spaniel she loves to sniff and explore and can sometimes be right in front of your feet.
Connie sleeps in her crate with the door open.
Connie needs work on toilet training. She needs to be taken out regularly and rewarded when she has done well.
Connie is fine eating around other dogs but needs a slow feeder as she does rush her food.
Connie would suit most active homes with a resident dog for play and company. She can be homed with older dog savvy children who will give her space and time to adjust. Shes a lovely girl who just needs a chance and a bit more guidance to be a well rounded rescue ambassador.

Lucy D2025-27
• Needs a resident dog to learn from
• Older dog savvy children
• Not cat tested
• Patient owners
Lucy is a 6 year old cocker spaniel described by her foster family as a nervous little lady who is still hiding away. She is learning from the other dogs in the home, and if they come to say hello, so will she. She is desperate to give and be loved but needs time to work it out. U can see the cogs turning, and she is getting better every day. With a lot of patience and kind, gentle treatment, she will learn what it means to be loved.
Lucy has not yet been out for a walk, except visiting the vet where she walked ok on the lead. She is frightened of being handled and having harness put on.
Lucy is easily startled so smaller children may be too much for her, but she would probably be okay with older children who understand she needs calm and patience.
She is not cat or small furry-tested.
She does not understand what toys are and is only showing an interest in them.
Lead walking is a work in progress. She is currently scared of having a harness on but is practicing daily with the aid of some nice treats. She will need kind and patient owners who are prepared to work on building her confidence so she learns to wear a harness and collar, and that this will lead to some lovely walks.
Lucy currently sleeps downstairs with the other dogs. She always likes to be cuddled up with another dog her size in a dog bed or an open crate. She gets on great with all dogs of any shape or size but has taken to one her size.
Toilet training is a work in progress. She gets praised when going to the garden to toilet but has occasional accidents overnight, but will always use a puppy pad in the kitchen.
Lucy is very nervous at feed time, scuttling away when her dish is put down. She is currently being fed in a quiet area with her one favourite doggy friend. She enjoys her food and eats it all. She will run away if another dog tries to take her food, and this will need to be monitored in her forever home. Lucy loves her treats and is now happy to take a treat from foster mum.
Lucy would love a calm and quiet family home where everyone will be kind and patient while she works out how to be a pet. A home experienced of scared puppy farm dogs would be great. She will need lots of encouragement and rewards as she achieves new goals. She will need a calm and confident dog around her size to help her learn to be brave and show her the ropes. She would like a garden to play in and a covered open crate she can build a den in if life gets a bit much at times. She would not like to be among a lot of people but is fine with lots of dogs.

Hetty D2025-17
• Needs a resident dog to learn from
• Dog-savvy children
• Not cat tested
• Patient family to help her adjust
Hetty is a 6-year-old King Charles Cavalier described by her foster family as a brave girl. Despite being quite shut down and in poor physical condition when she came into foster care, she has settled really well and is beginning to finally enjoy her life. Initially nervous at finding herself in a new world, she now loves meeting new people and dogs and comes to greet visitors with a wagging tail. She hasn’t yet found the joy in cuddles but is happy to continue the practice. She adores being stroked and brushed.
Grade 5/6 heart murmur. Medication to be confirmed
Not child-tested but should be okay with dog-savvy kids who know she needs time to come to them.
Not cat tested.
She has not yet found joy in toys and playing but does love to steal a teddy for a cuddle.
Hetty is only now learning to walk with a lead attached to her harness, investigating and sniffing her surroundings under supervision. She likes to be with one of her doggy friends from her foster home and lead walking will need to be gradually introduced as she becomes comfortable. She is happy to have her harness and lead put on and just needs patience she learns with lots of praise.
Hetty currently sleeps downstairs with the other dogs in the home. She loves a dog bed or an open crate.
Housetraining is not quite there, but she does try to go out to the garden to toilet and gets praised when she does.
Hetty loves her food but is easily pushed away by other dogs so is fed in a different room or under supervision so she is not bullied. She loves her treats but takes a lot longer to eat them than the other dogs in the home.
Hetty would love a quiet home with another confident dog. She loves all the dogs she has met. She would love to have a garden to sniff and explore and to practice her harness and lead walking. She would love to have someone around most of the time who can teach her about cuddles and encourage her to be the dog she should have always been.

Blossom D2025-25
• Can be an only dog with doggy friends
• Can also live with another dog
• Children 10 and over
• Needs to attend puppy class
• Neutering agreement
Blossom is a 10-week-old Shih Tzu x Bichon described by her foster family as a gorgeous little girl who loves everyone in the home, even new people that she has never met. She has a beautiful little bark to let you know she is there and needs a cuddle. Care must be taken when getting up or walking around, as Blossom is tiny and will be under your feet before you know it. She will just fall asleep by your feet without you realising.
Blossom will need to attend puppy training classes so she can interactions with other dogs, and learns commands. Blossom can be an only dog or live with another.
Not cat or small furry tested, but is young enough to learn to be around them.
She can be homed with children aged 10 and upwards, but they must be mindful that Blossom has sharp baby teeth and claws and is going through her baby shark phase.
She loves playing with toys and especially enjoys a game of tug of War.
She has not yet been on a harness or lead and this education needs to begin in the garden with lots of positive reinforcement and play.
Blossom sleeps in a dog bed in the living room during the day, and in her foster mum’s bedroom on a puppy bed in an open enclosure during the night.
She is not currently house-trained but is doing amazing using puppy pads.
Blossom eats well around other dogs, she will only eat what she requires then leave the rest. She likes treats, which are given after she has used the puppy pad, and is praised for doing well.
Blossom needs a family who will treat her as a dog and not a handbag as we do not want her getting an Anti Social Barking Order and be considered to have little dog syndrome. Sonny D2025-22
• Needs a resident dog
• Dog savvy cats
• Dog savvy children over 5
• Needs to attend puppy class
Sonny is a 6 month old Westie cross Bichon described by his foster family as a nervous little guy but he will come and say hello once he gets to know you.
Sonny can be homes with dog savvy children 5 and over who will give him time to settle so they can be best friends.
He can be homed with cats as he is young enough to learn with supervision. He has met cats and has been fine but they were dog savvy. He will little bark.
Sonny loves playing with his toys and doesn’t mind other dogs joining in.
Walking on collar lead and harness is a work in progress. He is happy to have a collar on but does not like the lead attached preferring to wear a harness. He has been on very short walks as everything is a little scary at the moment, but he is gaining in confidence daily. He just needs his pawrents to be patient with him while he gets used to the world.
He currently sleeps in a crate overnight and sleeps all night using this as his safe space as foster mum has made it all cwtchy for him.
House training is a work in progress and as he gets easily distracted, he needs to be encouraged to go into the garden regularly to do his business and given lots of praise when he has done well. Following another dog and the occasional cheese tax works.
Sonny loves his food and is enjoying good treats taking the gently. He is fine to eat around others with no issues.
Sonny needs a home with a resident dog to learn from. A patient family who can spend lots of time with him and take him to puppy class to be a good rescue ambassador. He would not suit a busy home with lots going on due to his nervous nature. He is still young. He has had a crap start to life so is only now getting the attention he so desperately needs and craves.

Leo D2025-23
• Needs a resident dog
• Dog savvy cats
• Dog savvy children over 5
• Needs to attend puppy class
Leo is a 6 month old Bichon cross Westie described by his foster family as a friendly little guy once he knows and trusts you. It takes a little while for him to warm up but when he does he loves giving kisses and cuddles and is a very affectionate young man.
Leo can be homes with dog savvy children 5 and over who will give him time to settle so they can be best friends.
He can be homed with cats as he is young enough to learn with supervision. He has met cats and has been fine but they were dog savvy. He gave a little bark but they threatened to eat him so he backed down.
Leo loves playing with his teddys and doesn’t mind other dogs joining in.

Noel D2024-174
• He can be an only dog with doggy friends
• He can also live with another dog
• Fine with cats
• Calm home
Noel is a 2-3 year old French Bulldog described by foster family as being very friendly in the home and loves cuddles. He loves nothing more than jumping onto a sofa next to you.
Noel is epileptic and is in daily medication to control his seizures. Since being on the medication he has had no fits.
Noel is learning to walk on a lead and getting used to the new noises of the outside world. He wasn’t sure what a lead was when he arrived but is being brave and improving every day.
Noel lives with a variety of different dogs and a cat in his foster home and is fine with them all.
Noel could be homed with children understanding of his epilepsy and his need to be kept calm and not over stimulated or over excited. So we would recommend children 8 years upwards.
Noel will play with other dogs his size, in typical frenchie fashion he likes to play wrestle but with no intention to harm he just loves playing.
Noel sleeps in the lounge or kitchen depending on where he chooses and he is very good at sleeping throughout the night and loves naps during the day.
Noel is housetrained.
Noel loves food and is not food reactive at all, he would let other dogs steal his dinner if they tried to eat it.
Noel needs an understanding home that will make sure he gets his medication twice a day. A home that allows him to come round in his own time to new people and new environment. He needs a calm home for him to potter around in.
He is not a super active energetic dog and would be happy exploring a garden and having sofa naps rather than hiking walks. He is such a gentle soul that may have been abandoned because of his epilepsy but he really deserves a home that will love him and give him the best life.

Alvin D2024-75
• Can be an only dog with doggy friends
• Can also live with other dogs
• Older children
• No cats
• Would really benefit from attending dog school
Alvin is a 13 Month old Yorkie cross Bichon described by his foster parents as an absolute pleasure to have in the home. He’s shy when visitors arrive, but soon gets used to them. He’s a well behaved, reserved but loving, funny little man who enjoys a cuddle.

Out on a walk he gets overstimulated if he sees another dog and will barks and pull. This isn’t aggression, just excitement which if not corrected can turn into him nipping the other dogs who walk with him. He is better walked on his own and given one on one attention. He will sometimes try to nip the ankles of passers-by. This appears to be as a result of his background and poor socialisation at an early age.
He can be homed with older teenage dog savvy children who can help with his training.
He’s got terrier throughout him and will chase and bark at cat so we would not recommend he is homed with cat or small furries.
Alvin loves playing with toys, and especially chew toys. He’ll chase a ball but not return it yet. He loves a good rough and tumble, and racing around the secure field or a back garden with the resident dogs. Ideally, he would like a young, playful dog as a companion but there must be enough people available to walk him one to one. He could maybe be an only dog in the right home, but with lots of interaction and visiting dog friends willing to play with him. He has never been an only dog though.
Alvin currently sleeps on his foster parents bed at night and does an excellent impression of an alarm clock waking at 6.30am prompt.
He is fully house trained.
He can be defensive about his bowl at feeding time, so is feed alone. He takes treats nicely.
Alvin needs a home that understands and loves the terrier nature. New owners have to commit to his ongoing training and to safeguarding him. He’s got lots of energy and would enjoy an active home with lots to keep him interested. He’s a real treasure of a pup, that is easy to love. He had an atrocious start to his life that still causes him some issues that need understanding.

Shelley D2025-09
• Needs a resident dog
• Not cat tested
• Older dog savvy children
Shelley is a 5 year old Cockerpoo described by her foster mum as a little timid and wary of strangers but loves a fuss and cuddles once she gets to know you. She has not been on a walk yet but is gradually getting used to a lead and seems happy with it.
Vet history to be discussed
Not cat or small furry tested
She has not met any children but would probably be ok with older, calmer children who are patient with her and give her gentle cuddles.
Shelley is only just discovering toys and plays with them alone but is happy to investigate the toy box with other dogs. She seems to like all dogs but is happier with small dogs around her size. She will growl at bigger dogs if they come too close when she is resting, but is happy to wander about the house and garden with them.
Shelley is happy to have a harness on and is getting used to a lead and seems happy with it. Lead walking will need to be gradually introduced with a collar and harness as well.
She loves being in the garden but needs encouragement to come in although she is starting to come when called.
Shelley sleeps downstairs with the other dogs. She has a favourite dog bed on the floor. She is allowed on sofas but has not ventured onto them yet.
House training is a work in progress, she is really good at asking to go outside now but has the occasional accident.
Shelley prefers to have her food in an open crate away from the other dogs. She loves her treats and tries to find a quiet spot to take them to eat.
Shelley would love a home with a family who are patient and loving and prepared to encourage her to gain confidence. She would love lots of cuddles and to learn how to play and go for walks. She would enjoy having a small doggy friend who is friendly and confident.

Boo D2025-12
APPLICATION LINK AT THE BOTTOM
• Can be an only dog with doggy friends
• Can also live with other dogs
• Can live with a cat
• She is really clever so would love puppy/training school
• Sausage savvy family
Boo is an 8 month old mini Dachshund who can be extremely excitable when she meets people coming into the home, she will jump up onto laps and lick faces and occasionally nip. She is now being set boundaries and is learning to settle quickly with her foster carer.
When meeting the neighbours over the garden wall she can be a little shy but she is happy meeting people in the garden itself.
She likes everyone but because of her tendency to test everything with her sharp piranha teeth Boo will only be homed with sensible dog savvy children.
The vet advised some puppy teeth will need to be removed at the time of neutering.
Boo has lived with a cat.
She plays alone with her toys but if the resident dog has a toy Boo wants it and will bark to let everyone know. She also loves to play tug or fetch with her foster carer.
Boo is great with a harness and lead and happily lets you put a harness on. She walks well and a lead and is great with dogs of all sizes. She is not the typical barky sausage when out and her foster mum has worked hard on her manners. She has a great recall and enjoys receiving fuss as a reward for being good.
Boo sleeps downstairs in the same room as the resident dog but in a separate bed. A stair gate keeps her safely in place.
The garden at night can be a little scary and Boo continues to benefit from having someone with her whilst she toilets. Loud or unfamiliar sounds can see her run back to the safety of the back door. Whilst she is now mostly house trained, she came into foster still using puppy pads. Getting her dry overnight is still a work in progress but she does use her puppy pad if she needs it.
Boo eats around other dogs and has no guarding issues, she will however, try her paw at pinching another dogs food if left unattended.
Boo needs a sausage experienced home with owners committed to not allowing her to be a barky drama queen. She is a small young girl with lots of energy and loves to be walked as much as she loves to snuggle. She could live with another small playful dog or a cat, she could also be an only dog as long as someone is home the majority of time. Boo is very bright and would really thrive in puppy class and with a family who are willing to devote some time to her future.

Ginny D2024-131
• Can be an only dog
• Can also live with other dogs
• Not cat or small furry tested
• No children or visiting children
Ginny is a 3 year old Cavapooshon who will need a calm quiet home with lots of love and affection. She hasn’t had the best start in life so is now looking for a home who will help her find her confidence and trust. She is a sweet natured beautiful girl who is nervous at meeting new people at first but comes around quite quickly.
She has not met any children and due to her nervous nature we would not recommend she be rehomed with any. Visiting children would be fine as long as they understand how special she is.
Ginny has had surgery for luxating patella which will be discussed upon application.
She is only just walking outside as she has been recovering from surgery. She is making slow but steady improvements but due to having led a sheltered life she is nervous of the noises of the outside world but with a resident dog to show her the way, time and encouragement she will thrive.
She is not cat or small animal tested.
She’s not really interested in playing with toys or her foster brothers yet. She is just happy to sit and watch. She is thoroughly enjoying being be safe, warm and loved. Feelings she has probably never known before.
She is still a little nervous of household noises but is relaxing slowly taking her queues from the resident dogs in the home.
She currently sleeps with her foster mum either in bed or on the sofa.
Ginny is housetrained and has been a good girl whilst in foster.
She is a very good eater and loves her food which is helping with her training.
Ginny would love a quiet calm home with owners who can help build her confidence. She can be an only dog with owners knowledgeable of how to bring a scared little one out of their shell. She can also live with other dogs who can give her confidence and show her that the world is not that scary a place. Time, love and attention is all this young lady needs to thrive.

Ember D2024-04
• Needs a resident dog
• No cats
• Older dog savvy children
• Would benefit from attending puppy class.
Ember is a 16 Month old King Charles Cavalier described by her foster family as a very sweet, energetic, playful and loving dog. She’s very affectionate and has the most beautiful temperament. She’s a little timid and shy around other people in the home apart from her chosen human. When she bonds with her favourite human she will follow you everywhere. She is a real snuggler and loves nothing more than physical contact. She really is a beautiful natured dog.
Ember hasn’t met any children but were sure she would be fine due to her gentle nature, older sensible children 8 years +.
Not good with cats.
Ember has just started to play with toys and it’s amazing to watch her play.
Ember hasn’t been out on a walk yet as she’s just been spayed. She allows a harness to be put on and will walk on a lead with encouragement in the garden. She’s doing really well.
Ember sleeps on the bed next to foster mum and is a real bed hogger. She loves to go under the covers, she will also lay on the pillows like a human. She is like a little hot water bottle.
Ember is nearly there with her toilet training and will go towards the door to let you know she wants to go out. Currently she like company when in the garden and she is given lots of praise and a nice treat when she has done well.
Ember gets so excited at feeding time, she jumps and spins around. She’s absolutely fine to eat around other dogs.
Ember would be happiest in a loving, active home with a doggie friend to show her doggy ways and who doesn’t mind sharing their human. She hasn’t experienced any love in her short life so far now needs lots of cuddles and attention. She would ideally like someone who is home most of the time and loves a cuddle.

Sylvia D2024-149 & Pearl D2024-150
• To be adopted together
• They can be adopted as a pair on their own
• Could live with a kind playful dog
• Can live with cats
• Older visiting children
Sylvia and Pearl are bonded 4 Year old Cavachon’s described by their foster family as the gentlest of souls. They want nothing more than to be loved and to return that love. Both are becoming braver and learning to trust more every day, and it’s a joy to see two of the waggiest tails ever!. They are always together, and foster mum’s shadow! They will happily share space and play around the house when all their foster family is home. Neither of them has ever shown any form of aggressive behaviour at any time.
Both Sylvia and Pearl would be happiest living in a home without children. They could live with a family who have older visiting children who will wait for Sylvia and Pearl to interact with them and not expect anything from them. They need a quieter, more relaxed environment, where they can learn a routine and continue to grow in confidence and thrive.
Both Sylvia and Pearl are fine with the cat in their foster home. Happy to sit by him, and Sylvia will give him little kisses too!
Both dogs will happily play alone with their dog toys but also love a game of tug o war with each other! Neither of them has ever shown any resource guarding behaviour, and will happily swap toys mid game. Both are just starting to play fetch and get very excited, although bringing it back is a work in progress! They love to run around outside in the garden with the three resident dogs, and will now initiate play themselves.
Sylvia walks well wearing a harness and lead around the garden and in the local secure field. She loves to run around the secure field freely, and returns to foster mum when called. Pearl will walk with a harness and lead, but isn’t as comfortable as Sylvia yet. She looks to Sylvia for comfort, and is getting braver all the time. Pearl also enjoys the secure field, and seeing them together happily exploring is heart melting.
Both dogs sleep together in their bed in foster parent’s room. They love to have bedtime cuddles and morning ones too, when they both roll around the bed licking foster mum, the other dogs and foster mum. Both sleep through the night.
Sylvia is reliably housetrained with her routine. She will now also ask to be let out. Pearl is nearly there, it’s just a matter of time. Both girls are clean overnight.
Sylvia and Pearl are happy to eat next to each other, although Sylvia really loves her food, and if not watched would gladly Polish off Pearl’s too! They both love their treats, will take them from foster mum’s hand and can hear the treat jar opening from the garden!
These two beautiful girls need to feel safe, loved and to have trust in their human/s. Their home needs to be their calm, safe place with someone home most of the time. They need predictability in order to continue to grow in confidence and also a secure garden to enjoy the freedom of exploration and play.

Coco D2024-170
• Needs a resident dog to learn from
• Older teenage children who will give her space
• Patient and loving family
Coco is a 2 year old mini Poodle described by his foster family as a shy and reserved little lady. She is still soaking in what it means to live in a home with people and likes to take a back seat and watch. She will need a lovely, patient family who are happy to let her adjust and come when she is ready. She is making huge strides each day, and when she is ready she will be the most amazing loyal little dog. Although she’s not currently keen on foster mum being hands on with her, and isn’t used to strokes, she’s always near me and takes comfort in being near a safe human. She really deserves a family who will give her a chance and have low expectations of her initially.
Coco would be happiest in a home with older teenage children who will understand that she needs her space until she is happy and settled and has gained some confidence.
Not cat or small furry tested
Coco does not currently play with toys but were confident once she is in her forever home with a family and furry brother or sister she will learn how much fun they are.
Lead and harness walking is going to take time and can only start once she is settled in her forever home.
Coco currently sleeps downstairs with the other fosters, she sleeps soundly all night and we don’t hear a peep from her.
Toilet training is getting there, and if her new family continue to set her up for success there is no reason there should be any issues in this area.
Coco loves her food. There are 6 dogs in the home who all eat together with no issues.
The most important thing for Coco’s new home is a home that will be patient. She’s been through a lot in her short life and really needs time and space to adjust and not have huge expectations put on her. She needs a home that is happy for her to just sit back and watch, and then come to them in her own time. She would need to live with another small/medium breed dog, who can show her what it means to be a pet and that humans are safe.

Pickles sleeps downstairs in a bed in the kitchen and sleeps soundly through the night, he works excellent as a back up alarm clock as if he hears the alarm go he will come to the bottom of the stairs and give a little bark to make sure you are definitely awake and aware that it is time for breakfast.

Deilen D2024-162
• Can be an only dog
• Not cat tested
• Older dog savvy children
ADeilen is a beautiful 5 year old Cavalier described by her foster mum as a sweet natured ex breeding ruby cavalier. She is surprisingly confident around people considering her past. She has settled really well into family life in her foster home and loves to snuggle up on the sofa next to her humans. She will greet visitors with a waggy tail and wiggly body and will be your friend for life if you offer her a treat. She loves her people and will follow you if you move out of her sight. If she had a signature song it would definitely be “Me and My Shadow!”
Deilen has a heart murmur and can be adopted on an assisted adoption which will be discussed with potential adopters.
Deilen has coped well with her fosterers young grandchildren. She is happy to let them stroke her but she doesn’t interact with them and would prefer a quiet household to one with hustle and bustle. A home with young adult children would be ok.
She is not cat or small furry tested.
She is starting to show an interest in toys but at the moment it is more testing things with her teeth than anything. In the last few days she has taken a likening to socks and likes to take them away turning them into works of art. She’s happy to let the other dogs share the toy but will leave it rather than play with them. She gets on well with the two other dogs in the foster home but she is quite independent from them and seeks human rather than doggy attention.
She has just started to walk on a lead. She has been on one walk and was absolutely brilliant. She walks well with lead and harness greeted other dogs politely and even sat down to let one passerby give her a fuss.
She sleeps in a crate in the bedroom with her fosterer. She sleeps right through. We do feel that in time she’d love to be a cuddle on the bed type of girl.
House training is going well. She needs to be let out at regular intervals but she’s really good at routine.
She is a food monster she loves her food but will share treats and even her food with the other dogs however she does expect them to share too.
Deilen is a girl who needs to be adored. She has such a lovely temperament. She gets on well with other dogs but she’d like a home where she would be the focus of attention and love. She likes to be around her humans a lot so someone home most of the day. A quieter home for this little one. She would suit a retired couple with time to give her nice walks, lots of cuddles and the love she is now relishing since being rescued

Russ D2024-163
• Needs a resident dog
• Fine with cats
• Older dog savvy children
• Patient owners
Russ is a 4 year old Spaniel who likes to pretend he is scared and nervous but really, he is just storing up all his courage to be brave and adventurous. He has really come out of his shell in the last week and has now started chasing and playing with the resident dogs. His new favourite hobby is looking out the window doing his bit for neighbourhood watch. He has a very waggy tail and will let you stroke him and is happy to wander around watching what goes on. He’s still not made a noise but his tail never stops wagging and he just needs someone who understands that these things take time.
He has started to investigate his foster home and now chooses to come into the living room with his foster pawrents and will lie on the floor but is definitely eyeing up the settee if he can just move the three small resident dogs to make room. He approaches to let you stroke him but it’s taken at his pace.
He loves to go out in the garden even in the rain and can’t understand why the sausages in his foster home won’t follow him. He is fully housetrained if allowed access to the garden.
He was happy to be stroked by the 7 year old but older children who will understand his signals.
He is fine with cats totally ignores them.
Good on harness and lead in the garden. Has not been out yet as not fully vaccinated and needs to settle in his home before trying.
He will now choose to wander upstairs to sleep on the floor next to our bed and will put his feet up on the bed to see what his doggy pals are doing and is beginning to get up the guts to jump up. So beware it won’t be long before he’s sharing.
He is fed in another room as he likes to wander and check what others have. He has quickly learnt what the biscuits tin is and if the other dogs aren’t around, he will take a treat from your hand. He has also just realised that good things happen in the kitchen and has realised the worktops are where the interesting smells come from. He hasn’t taken anything but given the opportunity maybe he would try.
Russ needs a home with a resident dog to show him how to dog. Someone who is around most of the time so you can bond. Once he has built his confidence, we are sure he will really enjoy his walkies and adventures. He is good with children but a busy, noisy household would not suit. He just needs to take things slowly to build his confidence and he will really shine.

Callie D2021-160
• Needs a resident dog to learn from
• Not cat or small furry tested
• Dog savvy children
Callie is a 4 Year old Cocker cross King Charles Cavalier described by her foster family as being shy at first but once she gets to know you, she loves a fuss and a cuddle. She is a proper little lady and doesn’t get in your face but likes to follow you around with a waggy tail. As you can see from her pictures she really does wear her heart on her sleeve. Well in this case on her body.
She has not yet learnt what toys are but were sure she would be very happy to learn.
Callie could live with any aged children, as long as they are old enough to know she is not a toy. She is in foster with children aged 9-13.
Not cat or small furry tested.
Learning to walk on a lead and harness is a work in progress and this will take time to be worked on with her new family once settled. She is starting to figure out what it is all about and will get there with the help of a fur sibling.
She currently sleeps in a bed in the kitchen and sleeps quietly all night.
She is house trained but as with all adopted dogs she will need her new family to set her up for success for this to continue.
All 5 dogs in the home eat together without issue.
Callie would suit most homes, she will need a home that’s reasonably active as she thoroughly enjoys getting out to use that spaniel nose of hers. She must live with another small or medium sized dog as she relies on the other dogs for confidence and for learning how to behave. She is a beautiful little lady who is an absolute delight and whoever rehomes her is going to be so so lucky.
