Kala is a 5 yr old westie who doesn’t feel ready to interact with the world just yet! She prefers sitting and watching the world go by.
Due to her nature we feel it is best to find her forever home so she can have the stability to settle and start to explore her surroundings.
Kala absolutely needs a kind resident dog to show her the ropes and a very understanding family that will allow her to explore at her own pace.
Kala needs carrying outside where she will do her business but is just as eager to come back to the safety of her bed.
She is comfortable sitting on the sofa with you and gives a gentle lick every now and then.
Due to her nervous nature, no residing children and a quiet home to allow her time to adjust
People who have experience of rescue dogs that need time is a must with Kala as it may take her a while before she feels brave enough to start enjoying and exploring the world. Kala was great being groomed and travels well in the car. She allows you to approach but will not actively seek you out just yet. She has a good appetite and meal times are certainly her favourite time of the day.
