NEEDS A RESIDENT DOG OF A SIMILAR SIZE

NOT CAT TESTED

A PATEINT LOVING HOME WITH OWNERS HOME MOST OF THE TIME

Nutmeg or Meg for short is a 3 year old cavalier cross who is very timid when she first meets anyone but will soon follow them around quite happily. She is learning to trust people but this is taking time. She has had a lot to adjust too and they all do it at their own pace. She does now look to foster mum for a cuddle but it’s after she has thought about it for a while. She doesn’t yet play with toys but loves to chase the other dogs round when they are playing.

She walks well at heel & tolerates the harness but will freezes when a lead is attached to her collar. She gets on well with the other dogs in the home and hasn’t reacted to things seen in the garden

She’s very intelligent and learned to climb the stairs after watching the other dogs in the home. She is wary of men but a bit of bribery with a treat and a calming tone allowing her to take her time she is much better and they are able to approach her.

She has met dog savvy children and has been happy for them to make a fuss of her. She has been to visit relatives and wasn’t bothered by seeing a zimmer frame.

She has not been small furry or cat tested

Meg is clean in the home and has found her safe spaces. She likes to sleep in her own bed at the side of her foster mums at night and uses a donut bed in the day downstairs

She has not yet had full vaccinations but has been practicing harness walking in the garden and has been doing great. This will need to continue in her forever home with patient owners.

Meg would like to live with someone who is home most of the time especially while adjusting to her new life. She needs another dog to learn from and follow to help her become the dog she has always wanted to be. She is looking forward to being braver and going for walks in the future once she has adjusted. She may go back a few steps in her recovery and owners need to be patient as this is expected but her new fur brother or sister will soon show her the ropes and given time you won’t recognise her.

CAN BE AN ONLY DOG OR LIVE WITH A SIMILAR SIZE DOG WITH A CALM NATURE

OLDER DOG SAVVY CHILDREN

NO CATS

OWNERS AROUND MOST OF THE TIME WHO CAN TAKE HER FOR SMALL WALKIES.

Tequila is a 7 year old Chihuahua that was handed in by her previous owner through no fault of her own and due to a change in circumstances. She is a longer legged chihuahua who has a sweet and gentle nature. Tequila loves people but will initially hang back and bark until she is sure of you. Once she knows you she loves to be close and have lots of fuss and attention. She responds well to commands and her favourite thing is to get a treat as a reward.

Tequila had to have several teeth removed when she first came into foster but has now been given a clean bill of health.

She hasn’t met children in her foster home but she would be fine with older dog savvy children who are used to nervous barky dogs. Tequila lives with four cats in her foster home but she does like to chase them when she sees them in the garden. She would be best in a cat free home.

Tequila likes to spend time outdoors running around the garden with the other dogs barking and chasing each other. Indoors they can be boisterous together which could be because they have been used to spending a lot of time outdoors. When she has been alone without the other dog she has been calm and quiet and seems to enjoy having one to one attention and affection from her foster Mum. Tequila is house trained but may initially have the odd accident in the home. She is used to being in a crate at night and when her foster mum goes out for a couple of hours.

Tequila isn’t yet fully vaccinated but we understand that she had lead walks before her vaccinations lapsed.

We think this little princess would enjoy being an only dog providing she has her human(s) around most of the time to give her love cuddles and reassurance. She could possibly live with another calm similar sized dog with gentle introduction. The more you get to know this lovely little girl the more you will see her beautiful sweet personality. She is desperate to be loved and she would be a perfect companion and lap dog.

ACTIVE FAMILY WHO WILL WORK ON HER TRAINING NEEDS

Cinnamon is a 6 month old terrier cross described by her foster mum as a wonderful little dog. She’s super intelligent, eager to please, playful but also very cuddly and affectionate. She is a typical puppy, loves to play and have crazy zoomies at least once a day and is like a whirlwind around the place. Its so funny and lovely to see. She likes toys but sometimes a little too much and likes to chew them. She is still teething and does try to nibble hands but if distracted with a toy she stops. She absolutely loves having cuddles and gives lots of kisses, she is a beautiful girl, all round lovely pet for a family with older children.

She is excellent with all people she has met she just wants to give lots of kisses when she meets them

Cinnamon would like older children only because she is still going through the puppy nibbling of hands stage, and this may upset younger children, she needs lots of play time

Not cat or small furry tested

She is almost fully house trained just a few accidents at night. She’s happy to sleep anywhere, eats well and has only been destructive once with her foster mums favourite sandals, but she’s a pup and is learning everyday about the things she can do and the things she can’t do. She’s very intelligent and learns quickly

She loves being outside. She hasn’t been lead trained yet due to vaccination completion, but will soon be out exploring the world. Currently her favourite thing to do is sit or lay in the garden sunbathing, surveying her territory

Cinnamon will need an energetic active family with older children who are willing to spend time training and playing with her and a family that will give her lots of cuddles.

NEEDS A RESIDENT DOG TO HELP HER ADJUST

GOOD WITH CATS

OLDER DOG SAVY CHILDERN

LOVING PAWRENTS WHO CAN HELP HER ADJUST TO BEING A DOG

Cassia is a 14 month old Cavalier cross Jack Russell described by her foster mum as a very sweet girl who is still a little nervous, especially when being approached from standing. If you are more at her level she approaches you for chin scritches and ear rubs and will give you kisses. She gets excited to go out in the garden and have toys thrown and jumps about like a little lamb. She can be vocal when excited which makes foster mum laugh.

Cassia shakes when handled by strangers and is still nervous around people but is making great progress. This may go backwards in her forever home and her new pawrents will need to support her through this.

Cassia has not yet been introduced to children so older dog savvy children would be recommended.

Cassia has displayed no aggression towards foster mums’ cat who has been in her face as he loves snuggling up to the other animals in her foster home. If anything, cassia is a bit nervous of the cat but there’s no bad reaction from her. Cassia hasn’t been tested with any other small furries

For the first two weeks there were no accidents in the home as she was taken out to the garden every hour or so with her foster brother so she learnt the house rules. She did have two accidents in the house when it was raining heavy outside as she was reluctant to stay outside and toilet, she just wanted to come back inside. She loves sofa snuggles on a blanket and hasn’t used the pet beds at floor level.

Cassia hasn’t had second vaccs yet so hasn’t been out and about but she has started being introducing to a lead on her harness and her foster mum is working with her to feel comfortable.

Cassia would like a home with patient owners who won’t expect too much too soon and can continue taking small steps to help her gain even more confidence. She would like a calm resident dog as a friend/playmate who can help her adjust in her forever home.

NEEDS AN ACTIVE HOME WITH OWNERS AROUND MOST OF THE TIME

Pepper is a very sweet 17 week old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who loves to give licks and cuddles and has bags of energy. He loves to play with his brother and the resident dogs. He sleeps all night on foster mums bed. Pepper does not like to be crated; he likes nothing better than to cuddle with the other dogs. Pepper does not like the rain he will go have a wee and then run straight back in but when it is dry he will spend the day outside playing. He loves his food and does a little dance when getting it ready

Pepper has an umbilical hernia that can be easily sorted when neutered

Pepper loves all people and will happily approach them with a waggy tail and bum. Pepper has met foster mums three dog savvy grandchildren and played well with them but under supervision

He is not Cat or small furry tested

Currently Pepper is into everything and as he’s teething this means testing everything with his mouth. Foster mum is working on this. As he’s a baby obviously toilet training is a work in progress.

Has not been able to go out for walks as he is not fully vaccinated but he has been out in a pushchair to get used to sights and sounds and takes it all in his stride. He travels well in the car

Pepper will need a home with a resident dog or dogs to help him with his ongoing training. He would like owners who are home most of the time. He would also like an active family as he wants to learn how to squirrel hunt and maybe try camping and paddleboarding.

Ziggy D2021-164

****PLEASE READ THE FULL WRITE UP BEFORE APPLYING****

NEEDS A RESIDENT DOG OF A SIMILAR SIZE

NO CAT OR SMALL FURRY TESTED

OLDER DOG SAVVY CHILDREN

ACTIVE FAMILY THAT HAS EXPERIENCE OF NERVOUS DOGS

Ziggy is an extremely affectionate 2 year old Labradoodle who walks brilliantly on the lead. He has some level of training I.e. sit & paw but would benefit from more. Ziggy has never been off lead so solid recall will need to be achieved as a priority. He loves to curl up on the sofa but will also settle quietly in his bed.

Ziggy is fully house trained and there have not been any accidents in the time he has been in foster.

Ziggy has had his booster vaccination today and his health check showed no issues. However, Ziggy is extremely overweight at 21.20 kg and needs to lose 5-6 kg. New owners will need to adhere to a strict diet and exercise regime. He is currently on 3-4 20 minute walks a day to build up his muscle tone.

Ziggy instantly bonds with females but is nervous around men, initially growling and barking at them, but not venturing too close. Once he has settled and assessed the situation he will allow men to approach for a fuss and relaxes around them. New owners must expect this behaviour in his forever home and be willing to work with him to overcome his fears.

We recommend older, dog savvy children.

Not cat or small furry tested

Ziggy behaves impeccably in the house with no destruction or soiling. He does jump up at the kitchen work tops but will get down when told without fuss.

Ziggy walks well on the lead and does not react to other dogs in a negative way. He is wary of approaching men but hasn’t barked or lunged.

Ziggy would benefit from an active home where the new owners are prepared to invest the time in gaining his trust and getting him in shape. I am confident that Ziggy will learn to trust a man, but this will take patience and understanding. He has an awful lot of love to give and in the right home he will be a star.

NEEDS TO BE HOMED WITH A RESIDENT DOG OF A SIMILAR SIZE

NO CAT OR SMALL FURRY TESTED

OLDER DOG SAVVY CHILDREN

CALM, PATIENT HOME EX BREEDING OR RESCUE KNOWLEDGE A BONUS

Anise is a 5 year old Cavalier Cross ex breeding girl. she is a beautiful laid back little girl who is happiest when she’s eating or lazing on the sofa. Anise arrived in rescue with a skin condition. It was confirmed by the vet that it was due to poor diet. Since being in her foster home and eating hypoallergenic grain free dog food her skin is now beautiful and she has had no further issues.

Anise can be shy and unsure when she first meets new people but given time, patience and some treats she soon comes around and it doesn’t take long for her to realise that she can trust that not all people are bad. She has been fine around all children she has met in and out of the home. She is quiet a laid-back girl but loud small children can sometimes be too much for her.

Anise has not been tested with cats or small furries

Anise loves to snooze on the sofa and snuggle up to her doggie friends. She is also a big foodie and loves to eat. She is fully house trained and if the garden door is open, most of the time she will go in and out to toilet of her on accord. She has had a few accidents in the house when left home for a few hours and the door was closed. Anise sleeps downstairs on her own on the sofa all night with no problems. She is very happy to see her doggie friends in the morning and jumps around wagging her tail and barking in excitement.

Anise walks beautifully on the lead and enjoys exploring with her doggie friends out and about. She is well behaved in the car but will drool the whole journey. This is common in ex breeding rescues and we find with time this stops.

Anise would be suited to a home with at least one other dog that would be happy for her to follow them, play with them and snuggle up to them on the sofa. She can be an escape artist at times so a garden that is 100% secure is a must. Anise from time to time will guard a long-lasting treat, so a watchful eye is advised with the other dogs in the home when feeding treats. Due to her guarding of treats, it is not advisable that she be rehomed with very young children. Anise would love a home where her owners are home most of the time and either an active home or a home that she can have daily walks, as she loves being outside exploring with her doggies friends.

Obi D2021-140

****PLEASE READ THE FULL WRITE UP WHICH WILL LEAD TO THE APPLICATION FORM****

CAN BE AN ONLY DOG OR LIVE WITH ANOTHER CALM SIMILAR SIZE DOG

OLDER DOG SAVVY CHILDREN

NO CATS

Obi is an 8 year old Chihuahua that was handed in by previous owners due a change in circumstances. He is the sweetest looking little dog with the cutest sassy little walk. He has a big character hidden inside a tiny body. He has the most endearing little face which you cannot help but fall in love with and he would love a home where he would be the centre of attention.

Obi has grade 3/4 heart murmur which requires no medication currently.

Obi loves people but can be wary when he first meets someone and can sometimes react if he feels threatened or scared. It doesn’t take long for him to recognise a friendly approach and once he knows you, he loves you and will follow you around asking for cuddles and to be picked up for a fuss. He is learning to respond to commands and loves a treat as encouragement.

Obi hasn’t met any children in his foster home. He would suit a home with no children or older dog savvy children.

Obi is currently in foster with four cats but he really doesn’t like sharing his home with them. He will bark and chase them and is not deterred if they retaliate. For this reason, it is best he is not rehomed with cats.

Obi and the other dog he lives’ with like to spend a lot of time running in the garden together. Indoors they are a bit boisterous. This could be that they have been used to spending lots of time outside. When he was without the other dog, he was much calmer in the house and settled nicely with his foster Mum lying next to her or on her lap whilst she worked. He is used to being crated and settles in a crate when his foster Mum goes out and sleeps in a crate overnight. Obi is housetrained to a degree but will occasionally soil inside if he is left. This will need to be worked on. Obi is a bit of an escape artist and will find even the smallest of spaces to squeeze his teeny tiny body through if it means he can go off on a little adventure on his own.

Obi isn’t fully vaccinated yet but we understand that he had lead walks before his vaccinations lapsed.

Obi could be rehomed as an only dog providing adopters have lots of time to spend with him and make him feel secure. Chi experience would be an advantage. A secure garden essential. He could also be rehomed with another very calm dog preferably another chi. He does have lots of love to give and would enjoy being pampered and spoilt. He is delightful character, a tiny dog with the heart of a lion. Could you open your heart to this little Prince?

CAN LIVE WITH ANOTHER PLAYFUL DOG WHO LIKES TUG OF WAR

NO CATS OR SMALL FURRIES

CHILDREN 10 AND OVER

ACTIVE FAMILY WHO WILL HELP HER WITH HER TRAINING AND BECOME THE DOG SHE WAS ALWAYS MEANT TO BE.

Margot is a one and a half year old French Bulldog cross Yorkshire Terrier described by her foster mum as a complete character from her under bite toothy grin, to her love of rolling around on her back for tummy tickles at any given moment. Margot likes to jump and is surprisingly good at it. Before you can blink, she’ll jump effortlessly and silently straight onto your lap, to be as close as possible. She is such a lovely trusting girl who has bundles and bundles of love to fill her forever home.

Margot adores people and assumes that everyone wants to say hello to her. She loves to be with her person as much as she possibly can. She loves guests coming to the home and greets each guest with numerous kisses (she can be very licky if boundaries are not set).

Margot can be homed with dog savvy children 10 years and above. She needs to have boundaries and rules enforced consistently as she has lots of energy and enthusiasm like most young frenchies.

Margot reacts quite strongly to cats on the garden wall with somersaults, wall scaling jumps and loud barking so we think its best not to be homed with cats or small furries.

Margot is fully house trained including throughout the night. She can be left alone in the home for a few hours without a fuss.
Margot fancies herself as a big guard dog and will bark enthusiastically at the postman, door or at neighbours over the garden wall. For this reason, a home located back from the road/busy paths would be ideal. Although she can be loud, she settles down quickly especially if she’s distracted.

Margot loves to sleep in bed with you and will plaster herself against you or even on you, if you allow it! She is currently spending a couple of nights in the human bed and then the majority of nights in a crate, in the bedroom. She settles in her crate without complaint and greets you enthusiastically in the morning ready for cuddles and breakfast.

Margot likes to gobble her food without it touching the sides so you will need to use an appropriate mat/bowl/cloth method to slow her down. She has learned to wait patiently for the other dogs in the home to finish before she is allowed to investigate their bowl.

Margot is a strong walker who likes to be at the front and pull on the lead so will need training. She gets very excited to see other dogs (as she can’t greet them yet), she likes to excitedly squeal at them from a distance. She is making progress walking past dogs without reacting.

Margot is still young so will need a home that will set clear boundaries and rules, and consistently enforce these. Margot is so responsive and clever that she enjoys training and would love to go to puppy class. Margot has mastered sit and is making progress with lead training, she needs someone/a family willing to continue her training.

CAN BE AN ONLY DOG IF NOT LEFT ALONE

COULD ALSO LIVE WITH A SIMILAR SIZED DOG WHO DOESN’T MIND BEING IGNORED

WOULD MAKE A GREAT FAMILY DOG WITH DOG SAVVY CHILDREN WHO CAN GIVE HER THE ATTENTIO SHE CRAVES

Dill is a 1 year old spirited but loving Cavashon who loves nothing more than being wrapped around you. She loves being petted and cuddling up beside you at every opportunity. She is not bothered at all about the other dogs in the home. She is focused on her human and where she is and if she can push the other dogs out of the way for a cuddle. She loves attention and can express this in an adorable way by throwing cushions around. She does however quieten down when foster mum is busy or working from home, but needs to be put in another room where foster mum can be seen or she’s wanting to get in on all the Zoom meetings and then nobody gets any work done.

Dill is very talkative and likes the sound of her own voice barking at any little noise or reflection. This is being worked on and she does listen to a firm “NO”.

Dill does not need another dog in her forever home, but would not like to be left alone at the moment. She loves children and the fuss they give her rolling on her back to get the best tummy rubs.  Dill currently prefers women and will initially barks at men but given a little space, time and encouragement she does settle and is fine.

Dill is not cat or small furry tested. She is house trained and will mostly go out to toilet. She currently sleeps in a basket at side of foster mums bed, but does enjoy coming up for cuddles.

Dill has currently only had her 1st vaccination and has been practicing on her harness in the garden in anticipation of going out for sniffs, meeting people and tracking down that elusive squirrel.

Dill would suit a family or person who will give her all the attention, interaction and walks she craves. She is an intelligent, waggy tailed fur baby. She has a lovely temperament and just needs to feel safe and wanted.

CAN BE AN ONLY DOG IF OWNERS AROUND MOST OF THE TIME OR CAN LIVE WITH ANOTHER SMALL BREED DOG

FINE WITH CATS

KIND, CARING FAMILY WHO LIKE SHORT WALKS

Barney is an 8 year old Maltese cross Yorkie described by his foster mum as the most lovely dog who is always happy to see you and wags his tail furiously like a helicopter when you talk to him. He has been a much loved pet for his whole life but sadly his owners ill health has meant he has come into rescue, so it’s a life change for Barney so any adopters will need to be patient with him while he adjusts. He is a tiny dog, weighing only 4kg and loves nothing more than curling up with you on the sofa and following you around the house checking what you are up to

Barney as an older dog has no current health issues, but any new home should research costs of insuring an older dog to provide him with veterinary care if he should need it later in life

Barney loves people, he can sometimes be overwhelmed around a lot of people, but in the home he is a total cuddle monster and will cry if not with his people so any potential adopters should be prepared to let him sleep upstairs initially until he is settled

Barney is a tiny dog so wouldn’t suit very young children but could be homed with older children. He currently lives with a cat and ignores him totally

Barney is a lovely boy who follows you from room to room, he isn’t a fan of being left and will initially cry if left, but this is improving as he settles in the foster home. He is housetrained but has had a couple of accidents in the foster home which we are sure is due to the stress of moving from the only home he has ever known. Any prospective owners should be prepared to work with Barney on this if it continues in a new home.

As a tiny dog sometimes Barney can find being picked up or crowded a bit scary and will squeak or do a small growl but this is in no way aggressive it is Barneys way of communicating and new owners should be experienced with tiny toy dogs to understand this and be patient while Barney settles into a new home

Barney currently sleeps upstairs with his foster mum and sleeps right through so new adopters should be prepared to continue this to give him some support while he settles.

Barney will happily walk with you off lead and loves his walks. As a tiny dog he doesn’t need huge walks but he is also a dog very happy to go out exploring with you

Barney needs a home experienced with his breeds or toy dog’s, a home where someone is home the majority of the day and a home where Barney will be treated like royalty as he expects. He is an older dog so needs a home that will have patience while he settles in as he has been a much loved pet for his life so may struggle to adapt longer than a dog that was mistreated.

Barney would happily live with another toy breed or also be fine as an only dog in the home. He has very long hair normally so his new home will need to have researched grooming costs and have a groomer that is able to groom him regularly to prevent his coat from matting. Barney will make a lovely companion and being slightly older will not need a huge amount of exercise each day. He just needs to find his new best friend.

Stella is a 15 month old lovely little bichon girl who’s looking for a forever home with someone who is home most of the day as she suffers from separation anxiety. She needs a home with another dog to learn from and be best friends with. She can be nervous of loud and sudden movements and will bark with uncertainty.

Stella loves people but can be very nervous when first meeting them and will bark until she’s comfortable. She would suit a home with older dog savvy children.

She is not cat or small furry tested

Stella is house trained, loves to sit on a comfy sofa with you and loves to sleep in bed with you. She’s not destructive at all. She doesn’t like to be left on her own and will cry by the door. Stella doesn’t like to be washed and gets stressed. So, grooming will be a work in progress but with trust were sure she’ll get better.

Stella loves going on walks on a lead with other dogs. She doesn’t pull and will walk happily. She adores beaches and having the chance to run free in an enclosed area. Her recall in an enclosed area has been great.

Willow is a 2.5 year old Labrador retriever that has come into rescue due to a change in circumstances. She was clearly adored and loved as she is in excellent condition. She loves nothing more than to snuggle up on the sofa and is gentle and loving with children. Willow does however struggle with some anxiety which needs to be considered and worked on to manage in her forever home, she gets worried if left alone for long periods.

She’s very clever and has done well with her basic training, she would benefit from further training and agility to keep her mind active, she’s still learning control particularly with food, (no food aggression but will seize an opportunity to pinch food if left unattended) she will benefit from further consistent training as she still tends to get very excited

Willow gets on well with all adults she meets. She loves children but can be a bit boisterous when saying hello and gets excited when greeting someone for the first time

Willow can live with cats

Willow loves to curl up on the sofa and is house trained but will chew if left alone for long periods. Willow loves to dig so a secure fenced garden is a must.

Willow is a sociable, friendly dog. She listens and responds to commands when other dogs approach when on walks. She loves water! And travels fine in the car.

Willow will do well in a home where she is either the only dog or lives with another similar dog where owners have breed experience. She needs a family who will help her overcome her anxiety. She requires a lot of exercise and consistent training to keep her mind active. She would suit an active family home where she has human company during the day.

Neutered Female

Vaccinated, microchipped and up to date flea and wormer

Willow will come with 5 weeks free Agria pet insurance

CALM RESIDENT DOG

OLDER DOG SAVVY CHILDREN

NOT CAT OR SMALL FURRY TESTED

PATIENT FAMILY WHO ARE AROUND MOST OF THE TIME

Libby is an 8-9 year old Shitzu described by her foster mum as a little diva who loves a squeaky toy. She has collected all the squeaky toys in the house and put them in her crate and if you take one she will just put it back. Libby trots around the house like she owns the place and tbh …. she does. Libby started off sleeping in the crate but has now progressed to the pet bed and is very happy there. Libby sleeps quite a bit and then will get up and stretch and take a stroll around the garden.

Libby has no known health issues

Libby loves people especially if they make a fuss of her and is fine with dog savvy children. She enjoys a cuddle on the sofa and will seek you out when she needs a bit of fuss. She enjoys a nice snooze on the sofa in the sun close to her human.

She has not been cat or small furry tested

Toilet training and basic commands are a work in progress and this will need to continue in her forever home.

She has not been out into the big wide world yet as she has only had her first vaccination.

Libby needs a home where someone is around most of the time with a calm resident dog who can show her how to be a dog and help her explore the big wide world. Someone who can spend time one to one with her and understands she needs time to adjust into a home. She’s not going to be a dog who wants to climb mountains but were sure she will want to go and learn about squirrels and smells.

ONLY DOG

ACTIVE FAMILY

NOT CAT TESTED

NO CHILDREN

Englebert or Bertie as his foster mum lovingly calls him is a 4 year old Chihuahua that is quite boisterous, playful and loving. He is still learning what are toys and what are not. His little personality has appeared and is shining through day by day. He is a tiny boy with a very big personality. He needs to be an only dog and is quite happy doing zoomies around the garden on his own. Now that he knows what zoomies are and how fun they are he does this 3 or 4 times a day.

Bertie’s medical history will be discussed with any potential adopters.

He is still a little shy with new people but comes around quickly if they give him space. The most endearing thing about Bertie is that he has learned to love and trust people despite never previously having any positive contact with humans. He enjoys cuddles and to shows you his love he gives the most adorable dog kisses. He loves being smoothed… he really is a little bundle of love.

He hasn’t been cat tested and likes to shout at the neighbours’ cats that don’t come in the garden. He may be okay in time as long as introductions are carefully made.

Bertie loves home comforts and likes the freedom of a garden. He has the run of the home and enjoys sleeping on the sofa, in dog beds and on his foster mums bed.

Lead training is ongoing and he is now wearing a harness around the house and garden and foster mum has started walking him in the garden to build his confidence. He is still nervous around traffic and sudden noises. He is very treat orientated so with treats, patience and small walks he will get there as he is a very clever boy.

Bertie needs someone that is home most of the time as he doesn’t do well if left for long periods. This little boy has big personality and can easily get up to mischief if left to his own devices. He needs boundaries and positive training for him to fulfil his true potential. He is an active dog but is also a proper cuddle monster. He ticks all the right boxes for the right home who will give him the time as he listens and learns so quickly. He is going to be one amazing little man.

Maya C2021-29

COULD BE AN ONLY CAT OR LIVE WITH ANOTHER CALM CAT THAT WONT BULLY HER

NOT DOG TESTED

PERFECT HOUSE GUEST

WOULD LIKE TO HAVE ACCESS TO THE OUTSIDE WORLD AFTER A PERIOD OF ADJUSTMENT

Maya is a beautiful 8 month old kitten who is quite the character. She likes to jump out on you from under the bed or s but it’s always with a gentle paw. She can be quite active and chase toys that you dangle for her or find her own fun by pushing and chasing stones, rubber bands and scrunched up balls of paper. Once she has exhausted herself with these games, she likes a good snooze. She will sometimes seek you out and can be quite companiable but normally she just likes to lay near or next to you.

She loves watching the birds and is keen to go outside (although she hasn’t in her foster home). She is a good fun cat who will make a lovely pet.

Maya likes to know that there is someone in the home so would suit someone who is around most of the time. She has been fine with older children and is quite gently with younger children as long as they play nice.

She has previously been in foster with another cat but was bullied so would be good as an only cat or with another quiet cat with proper introductions. She has not been dog tested

She’s been a model house guest and uses a scratching post and the litter tray. We think she would like to go outside after a period of adjustment as she loves to watch the birds through the windows.

OLDER DOG SAVVY CHILDREN

LOVING, PATIENT OWNERS WHO WILL HELP ELVIS BE A RESCUE AMBASSADOR

Elvis is a 6 year old Chihuahua described by his foster mum as a real character who loves to play. He’s funny and cheeky and most definitely loves a treat. He’s a busy boy and likes to look for things to keep him occupied but he also loves cuddles and snuggling up on a lap or a big comfy bed!

Elvis loves to eat, loves walks…in fact he just loves life!

Elvis was very underweight when he came into foster and this has improved tremendously and we are now at the stage where he is on 2 meals a day and improving daily. Elvis loves food and enjoys two meals a day and healthy treats in between.

Elvis’s medical history will be discussed with any potential adopters

Elvis loves people in general but can be unsure of men who stand over him and make him feel threatened making Elvis feel as if he needs to stand his ground and defend himself.

Elvis is fine with the other dogs in his foster home but has not been cat tested. He can be quite vocal and enjoys the sound of his own voice when he gets excited or feels he has to sing along with the pack.

House training is ongoing however if rehomed where he has the opportunity for more attention this will soon be overcome as he’s very quick to learn

Elvis walks well on harness and enjoys walks. He’s a happy boy and causes no problems out on walks.

Elvis needs a home where owners will spend lots of time with him and help him adjust to the big wide world. Someone Who has the time to give lots of cuddles and help with his house training. CAN BE AN ONLY DOG OR LIVE WITH A RESIDENT DOG

OLDER DOG SAVVY CHILDREN

LOVING, PATIENT HOME

OKAY WITH CATS

Daley is an 8 year old ex-breeding Papillon that is described by her foster mum as a Mary Poppins of dogs in which she mean she has been ‘practically perfect in every way’! and a real pleasure to foster.

Daleys medical history will be discussed with any potential adopters however over breeding has given Daley very slack tummy muscles, and the doggy physio has given her exercises that will need to be continued in order to improve her overall muscle condition in her forever home.

Daley loves people! She’ll nose your hand if you stop stroking her, and is happy on your lap. Her foster home has had several visitors staying during the time Daley has been there, and she has shown a particular preference for female visitors, and quickly forms attachments.

She is a quiet, calm girl who has been fine with visiting children of all ages, but she really doesn’t like the noise and chaos that some children create! In her forever home she could live with dog savvy older children.

She has shown no interest whatsoever in the resident cats.

Daley is very clean in the house, and tends to just pop out of the cat flap if she needs to go toilet. She sleeps on her foster parent’s bed, and is no trouble, you wouldn’t know she was there. She loves her fluffy doughnut bed, but also enjoys sleeping on the sofa. She’s a slow starter who doesn’t want to get up in the mornings but isn’t that most of us these days

Daley is not at all yappy, and has only barked occasionally when the other resident dogs have gone bonkers at the Hermes man. She has been left for a couple of hours on her own (without resident dogs & with) and has been fine. She’s not destructive nor distressed.

She is great with her food but has to be encouraged to eat breakfast or she will be looking for brunch. She has obviously had treats from peoples plates before, and will look hopeful at family mealtimes but doesn’t mither for titbits.

As she is restarting her vaccinations, Daley has only had very limited walks. She has walked on the lead very nicely in and out of the vets, and across the road to a non-dog household for a change of scene (and a cup of tea for her foster mum).
Daley gets very car sick, so her foster family have been taking her on short daily car journeys. Up to 20 minutes with no issues.

Daley is a sweet, delicate girl who needs a calm home but somewhere with enough going on for her to watch and join in when she chooses. She is not high energy, but also not ready to sleep away the rest of her days. There is lots of life and joy left inside this lovely little girl. She would flourish in a home with a calm and gentle dogfriend that will bring her out of her shell, however she could also be an only dog.

PATIENT LOVING OWNERS WHO WILL HELP HIM ADJUST TO THE REAL WORLD

Gerald is a 6 year old long haired chihuahua who we thought was a grey colour when he first came into rescue. We soon found out that he was a beautiful cream colour and the bath water was grey. He is the sweetest little boy who loves gentle snuggles, however he is a fearsome sock killer!!!

Gerald loves soft toys to play with but is happiest when on a comfy lap close to his human

Gerald is still working on gaining weight but is healthy in all other ways

Gerald likes people and really benefits from human contact.

He is fine with the other dogs in his foster home but has not been cat tested

Gerald is a happy boy who loves being comfy…he is happiest on a lap but loves big comfy cushions too! He is great on stairs and enjoys running about using up his energy!

Gerald can be very shouty but in his opinion he’s doing his job making sure no one comes near the home who shouldn’t!!!!

Gerald walks well on a harness and really enjoys his walks. He behaves perfectly out and about too!

Gerald needs a loving home who will cherish and adore him. He could live with a resident dog or on his own as long as he has a human snuggle cushion around most of the day. AT LEAST ONE RESIDENT DOG

OLDER DOG SAVVY CHILDREN

NOT CAT TESTED

QUIET, LOVING HOME WITH OWNERS AROUND MOST OF THE TIME

Simone is a 4 year old Cavalier who is shy initially but soon warms up to people if she is allowed to approach when she feels ready. She needs to be treated gently but once happy she enjoys a fuss and cuddle on her own terms. Simone has her safe spaces within the foster home where she will go to think about what is happening. She will need to find her safe space in her forever home and adopters will need to give her time and space when she shows she needs this.

Currently Simone’s favourite thing is sleeping on her foster mum or on the arm of the chair where foster mum sits. She is very clean in the house and will follow her foster siblings into the garden to toilet. She hasn’t started playing with toys yet but is watching her foster fur siblings closely and you can see she is working it all out. Experience tells us this will come in time when she feels settled and safe.

She is loving being part of a pack in a loving foster home and follows her fur family around. As with most dogs her favourite activities are sleeping or barking with her foster siblings at anything they take a disliking to or feel is a threat. She currently barks at her own reflection but this will pass in time. She’s just never seen how gorgeous she is, and no one has ever told her how special she is till now.

Simone has not been around children full time but has been very gently with visiting dog savvy older children as long as they don’t put too much pressure on her or are too loud and excitable.

Simone has not experienced the joys of going walkies yet but her fur family has told her about it and she’s keen to go and has been practicing with a harness on in the garden. She has never been for a walk so this is all new and she is taking to it like a true survivor. She will need patience to continue her positive experiences

She’s is currently eating grain free Harrington’s wet food & burns dry food which she enjoys.

Simone needs a calm understanding family with a resident dog and owners around most of the time. A retired family or someone who works from home. She just needs that connection to her forever family to feel safe.

WILL NEED AT LEAST ONE OTHER RESIDENT DOG FOR COMPANY

NOT CAT OR SMALL FURR TESTED

OLDER DOG SAVVY CHILDREN

PATIENT OWNERS IN A QUIET HOME

Bradley is an 8 year old Cavalier King Charles spaniel. He is a nervous ex stud dog who has spent his life learning to be wary of humans. He loves the other dogs in his foster home and has attached himself to a spaniel and follows him everywhere, even sleeping with his head rested on him so he knows if he moves.

Having arrived with a host of health issues Bradley has now been given a clean bill of health by the vets including a clear ECG. He doesn’t have much vision in one eye due to scarring from an untreated infection

Initially frightened of people Bradley is happy to be in your company and sit on the same sofa as you but will jump if you touch him when he’s not expecting it. Once picked up you can feel him visibly start to relax. Currently he is not a dog that likes to be fussed he would much rather be with his canine friends. He does however like it when you talk to him and will dance around wagging his tail.

Bradley could live with older children who aren’t too boisterous or noisy

Not cat tested but I don’t think there’s be any problems

Bradley is a gentle soul who is easy to foster. He spends lots of the day either asleep or in the company of his doggy friends. He loves his food and has a good appetite. Toilet training is nearly there but he may initially go backwards in his new home. (It only seems to be his bedding he scent marks)

Bradley hasn’t been on a lead yet as he’s not fully vaccinated so new owners will need to slowly introduce this. He’s been to the vets a few times and has been fine being handled and is happy watching the other dogs there.

Bradley would thrive in a quiet home with at least one other kind dog to show him the ropes. Patient owners who won’t rush him and let him take everything at his own pace.

CAN BE AN ONLY DOG

ACTIVE HOME WHO WILL SPEND TIME ON HIS TRAINING

OLDER DOG SAVVY CHILDREN

NOT CAT TESTED

Freddie is a large 17 month old King Charles Cavalier, the vet queried a possible spaniel mix. He is very friendly and boisterous and gets carried away when he sees his foster mum jumping up to greet her but as he is quite heavy, he does make an impact. His excitement is being worked on but this will take time. He is just a super happy boy. Freddie doesn’t realise his size and tries to copy the smaller dogs in his foster home which makes things interesting. He just wants to be loved and fussed and loves nothing more that cuddling in and snoozing. You will know when he’s finally asleep as he’s a snorer.

Freddie loves his food and eats like a good boy but does not like to share. He has no known health issues but as has been said he is 21 kgs and the vet has advised he needs to lose 5 kgs safely as soon as he can.

He is good with people and happy to meet them. He likes to jump up as we’ve said through excitement with his tail constantly wagging. He loves to be fussed by everyone and enjoys human company and to follow you around.

He is great with foster mums dog savvy 11 year old son but we would not recommend small children due to his excitement and size.

He has not been cat or small fury tested

Freddie is a good boy and toilets outside, he only once had an accident and that was on day one when he was still settling, love him. He is dry all night. He is currently sleeping upstairs in fosters mums’ room in a dog bed. He can take a little while to settle down but will then sleep all night. You know when he wants to go to bed as every time you move after a certain time he goes to the bottom of the stairs as if to say “bed time mum “.

Freddie loves being in the garden to feel the sun on his face and watch all the birds and butterflies. He travels well in the car with a seatbelt.

Freddie has not been out and about yet as his vaccinations were not up to date. He’s had his first vaccination now and has been told about trees and squirrels by his foster fur family and seems keen to want to go for a good sniff.

Freddie is going to need a patient but active home with dog confident children of 11 and over. His foster mum thinks he will be best as an only dog so he can have all the attention and training he needs. He has clearly been adored in his previous home by the size of his belly but we don’t think he went very far to turn that belly into muscle.

Toby is a 7 year old gentleman who has been an absolute pleasure whilst being on foster. He uses a scratching post and litter tray and is now too old to climb curtains which makes him the perfect house guest. He is happy being indoors but would aloso be happy to go outdoors after a period of adjustment.

Toby is fab with other cats especially kittens as he likes to teach then and keep them in line. He has not been dog or small furry tested.

Toby eats dry food with the occasional treat of ham or chicken. He can be very fussy with treats that are offered to him.

Toby doesn’t like to be picked up, he prefers to come to you for fusses and is super adorable when he does. He is good with children who will leave him alone and let him come to them when he wants attention. He does not like to be chased to be stroked or cuddled.

Toby would like a home with or without other cats with owners who will let him just be his own true gent. He will come for attention when he is ready but mostly just loves to be close and watches what is going on in the household. He would like a home that is not too loud or busy.

GOOD WITH CAT

WOULD SUIT A YOUNG RETIRED COUPLE OR FAMILY JUST SOMEONE WHO LIKES TO GO WALKIES BUT IS AROUND A LOT OF THE TIME

Holly came to us when her previous owner sadly passed away, she has clearly been adored and is a delightful long legged 5 year old Yorkshire Terrier who has the sweetest temperament and loves everyone she meets. She is a friendly little girl who adores her human and likes to be close to you wherever you go. She has the sweetest little face and will tip her head sideways when you talk to her as if she understands what you are saying. She is a typical little lap dog and loves to sit next to you on the sofa or on your knee. She is a calm dog who is not overly playful. She will chase and play with a toy or ball for short periods but only when the mood takes her.

Holly has no known health issues.

Holly has liked every human she has come into contact with and is happy to greet you with a friendly wiggle of her body and waggle of her tail. She has bonded with her foster mum and is never far from her side. She likes to sleep on her human’s bed at night and will sleep right through as long as she is cuddled up real close to you!

Holly has not lived with children. She has met her foster mum’s grandchildren and has been fine with them. She would not like boisterous children but will interact and snuggle up with calm dog savvy older children.

Holly is being fostered with four cats. She ignores them most of the time but will cuddle up on the sofa with the resident Siamese cat. They look so cute together lying nose to nose.

Holly is housetrained and has never been crated in the home. Her foster Mum has left her for a few hours alone in the house and she has been ok but she does sit on the back of the sofa and watch through the window waiting for her human to return. She prefers a sofa to a dog bed. She is not destructive. She is however a very picky eater. Her foster Mum is working with her to try and get her to eat a more varied diet so potential adopters will need to continue with this.

Holly enjoys her walks and walks well on a lead. She is happy to meet other dogs but equally happy to explore on her own. She travels well in a car and can be crated for short journeys.

Holly needs a home where she will be the focus of her family. She has always lived as an only dog but could possibly be rehomed with another friendly dog as long they don’t mind sharing. She loves her humans and needs them to be around for most of the day. She would suit a younger retired couple or a family with older children where there is someone home during the day to give her constant cuddles and attention. She really is the most adorable girl who has been an absolute pleasure to foster. She is the most loving little girl and deserves the most loving home we can find for her.

RESIDENT DOG OR DOGS

OLDER DOG SAVVY CHILDREN

EXPERIENCE OF EX BREEDING OR NERVOUS DOGS DESIRABLE

CALM, LOVING PAWRENTS WHO WILL GIVE HER TIME TO BLOSSOM

Grete is a 2-3 year old ex breeding Bichon who had never been in a loving home until she came into foster. Her first days were hard on all of us seeing her terrified but knowing she just had to decompress and work it out for herself. It was so hard to watch it took time and she would run to a corner to hide if she was scared or startled and watch until she felt safe. She would follow her furry foster sister everywhere and this is where we started seeing the improvements. It’s taken time and patience but now she trusts her foster mum and pushes her furry foster sister out of the way for attention. She now knows how to jump on the sofa and climb the stairs and comes to her foster mum for cuddles, reassurance and tummy rubs.

Grete hasn’t been left alone for long and has always been left with the other dog when she has. When foster mum comes home she is full of tail wags and excitement, and foster mum gets lots of licks and kisses. She has become a playful, affectionate little dog that likes you to pretend to chase her so she can have a mad ten minutes. The rest of the time she is very laid back and would fit into any home after a period of adjustment. The difference in her from her first day to now is amazing

She is wary of new people and is a little hesitant to approach them, but with kind words she will come and lick a hand the same with children. She still watches foster mums every move and loves a fuss.

Grete has been following her nawty sister with cats she sees in the garden. Having a half-hearted run at them but really appearing more interested in the smells than the cat

She eats well in the home sometimes a little too well and will take food from her foster sister’s mouth if she had the chance. This isn’t her fault as she has previously had to fight for any food that she came across. And she had never had such goodies as pig puffs and chicken feet. We just recommend you get her a slow feeder and keep an eye on her when eating with other dogs so she doesn’t eat too much. She is house trained and goes outside to wee and poo, as long as the door is open. In her new home she may need encouragement to go until she feels safe.

Grete has not been further than the front and back garden as yet due to not being fully vaccinated but this is how foster mum is doing her lead training. She will walk on the lead with the help of her foster sister for encouragement. Her foster fur sister has told her about the outside with squirrels and trees and she is very much looking forward to going exploring but this will be very much on her own terms with a double lead and harness for safety.

Grete needs a home who will give her time, love and affection. She needs a home with at least one other dog to show her the world is not a scary place and not all humans are bad. She will need a secure garden where she can sit and smell the plants or sunbathe. She would also like someone to teach her how to play fetch with a squeaky ball as her foster sister has told her it’s a great game but she hasn’t yet got the confidence to try. She’s super intelligent and her foster mum can’t wait to hear how she will blossom in her forever home.

AT LEAST ONE RESIDENT DOG

OLDER DOG SAVVY CHILDREN

NOT CAT TESTED BUT THINK WOULD BE FINE WITH SENSIBLE INTRODUCTIONS

QUIET HOME WITH PATIENT LOVING OWNERS

Harvey is a 6 year old friendly Shih Tzu boy who although being nervous of his new surroundings, always has a waggy tail. Initially he is wary of humans but is desperate to trust and dances around just out of reach until he feels confident in your company. He will then let you gently stroke him. He loves his food and is partial to a comfy bed or preferably the windowsill where he can sit and watch the world go by.

Harvey has no current health issues but did need to be shaved on arrival so it will take a bit of time for his coat to grow back

Harvey is very interested in people and loves to follow you around watching what you are doing from a safe distance. He is happy to share his sofa with you and doesn’t mind jumping over you if you are blocking his view of the windowsill

As Harvey is still slightly nervous of people a home with no boisterous or noisy children would be preferred.

Not cat tested

Harvey is a good boy in the home. He sleeps well overnight and is happy to be left for a few hours with another dog for company. He is not destructive at all and is nearly there with toilet training. Initially he would scent mark his beds so new owners will need to accept he may go backwards in the first instance.

Harvey hasn’t been for walks on a lead yet as he isn’t fully vaccinated so his new home will need to work on this slowly. He’s happy to wear a harness and has started to show interest when the other dogs go out so I think this will come quickly.

Harvey is looking for a quietish home with at least one other dog. A nice garden to potter in and owners who are patient and won’t rush him.

CALM RESIDENT DOG

CHILDREN 12 AND OVER

EXPERIENCE OF EX BREEDING, NERVOUS DOGS DESIRABLE

NOT CAT TESTED

Misty is a 5 year old cocker spaniel with a massive soppy side. She likes to walk around holding a toy and wagging her tail as you comment on how nice her toy is. She has had a hard life and this shows from her shy reserved nature. She is starting to come out of her shell in her foster home and enjoys lots of tickles but this is a slow process for Misty. The progress she has made is amazing going from constantly hiding to happily sitting on her bed and walking around the garden. In a new home she is likely to go backwards again before she will continue to go forwards. She will need time to settle and a safe place to watch everything around her as she assessed her new life. Structured tickle times, currently after food twice a day and before bed, help her to know when to expect to be touched. In time she will come to you outside of these times to request attention. At bedtime Misty loves a full body massage, combined with lots of soft positive encouragement and her body physically sinks into her bed.

Misty’s medical history will be discussed with potential owners.

Misty is very shy around new people and her forever people need to be aware that until Misty gets more confident, she will hide in her safe space when visitors come into the room. After some time, she will investigate the newbies if they don’t seem too loud and scary but will then return to her safe space. She will take a lot of time to trust humans and will need someone willing to introduce her slowly to people and persevere to help her build confidence over the coming months/years. She has shown great progress and clear indications that she likes and wants attention but she needs to build her confidence in humans again.

Misty doesn’t seem to find children as intimidating as adults but she would struggle with the unpredictable movements and sounds of younger children. Misty could live with children who will allow her time and space, aged 12 and above.

Misty is not tested with cats. She has been to the vets and although she was very scared, she behaved wonderfully.

Misty sleeps in the lounge on her dog bed and is such a good girl. At breakfast she greets her foster mum with a toy in her mouth and full bum/tail wags. She loves her food but will leave it if she feels worried by another dog, she needs her human to guard her while she eats to feel safe.

Misty will go to the toilet outside but will use puppy pads at night. In a new home, it will take her some time to be confident in going into the garden. However, a resident dog will greatly help with this.

Misty has no lead training and has not been outside the home on walks. She needs someone willing to take as much time as she needs to build her confidence inside and outside of the home. She can spook and might run so lots of lead and recall training will be needed.

CALM RESDIENT DOG

NOT CAT TESTED

OLDER CHILDREN OR ADULT ONLY HOME

PATIENT OWNERS WHO ARE HOME MOST OF THE TIME

KNOWLEDGE OF NERVOUS DOGS IS A BONUS

Zola is a beautiful 4 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel described by her foster mum as a beautiful gentle soul. She’s a very nervous little girl who is slowly adapting to home life but it is very much at her own pace. In her foster home she has a safe space which she knows is hers where she can happily sit and watch the world go by while she assesses if it is safe for her to re-join. It’s important for her to have a safe space as it helps her gain her confidence.

Zola has no known health issues and has not been cat or small furry tested.

Zola likes to be near her foster family but only if everyone is calm and quiet. She needs to feel safe while she decides if she wants to come and see you. Once she knows you won’t hurt her, she will happily sit by you and fall asleep. She’s very gentle and wary but also curious for a bit of attention. She likes to be involved with the other dogs in the home and watches them for confidence. She’s a pleasure to have around and it’s wonderful seeing her slowly opening up and trusting her foster family.

As gorgeous as she is, when she is sleeping be aware that she has a very loud snore. She’s learning every day and making great progress in the home but it’s very slow. She needs time, reassurance and tenderness.

Zola has not been tested around young children but from her behaviour any loud noises or sudden movement scares her. She’s nervous around foster mums dog savvy daughter so older dog savvy children or an adult only home would probably be best for Zola.

Zola is absolutely no trouble in the home there were a few toileting accidents when she arrived but once she got into a routine and was encouraged to go out to the garden often, she has much improved. Zola loves a nice comfy bed and seems to have one in almost every room of her foster home. Her bed is her safe place and she goes to it when she’s feeling a little unsure. She hasn’t chewed anything but does like to collect socks or items of clothing and carries them to her bed for comfort.

Zola hasn’t been in the big outdoors yet as she hasn’t had both injections but lead work has started in the garden but again this is a slow process and it needs to be at her own pace so she sees it as a positive experience

Zola needs a quiet, calm home where she can have lots of love and encouragement but it needs to be done slowly and at her pace. She has not been left on her own as she was upset when her foster family tried. She will need a calm resident dog who can help her learn that people are good.

Zola needs a home with calm understanding pawrents who can help her become the dog she was meant to be. She needs a resident dog to follow and learn that humans are good and tummy tickles are the best. She needs a safe place in her home where she can sit and watch the world go by till she feels safe.

CALM RESIDENT DOG A MUST

OLDER DOG SAVVY CHILDREN

EXPERIENCE OF NERVOUS OR EX BREEDING DOGS DESIRABLE

Kylie is a 5 year old westie that came in to foster very scared and would shake if you moved quickly or walked in her direction. Since being in foster she has come on in leaps and bounds following her foster mum everywhere. She can get upset if left alone and will howl and cry.

She has started to play with dog toys and anything that is left around. She likes to help with the clothes washing and will steal clothes from the washing basket to play and snuggle with. She also has a thing for tea towels, letters, trainers, puppy pads anything she can grab hold of she thinks is hers to play with.

Kylie gets distressed if left and will need another dog for company and someone who will settle her slowly and take things at her pace. She can be a little destructive when left alone and has chewed part of a wooden chair. She is a lovely little girl who will make someone an amazing addition to a family once settled into a routine where she feels safe.

Kylie has started to take treats from her foster mums hand and absolutely loves food. She gets very excited when she knows it’s breakfast and tea time and will jump about with excitement. She currently sleeps downstairs and wakes up usually around 6am or as soon as she hears movement upstairs excited to see you and to see what the day holds.

She likes to lie next to you on settee and generally be close so she can feel secure. She does have a favourite chair in her foster home which she sees as her safe place and will seek out her safe place in her forever home. Kylie had never been crated and got stressed when her foster mum tried this for night-time bed routine.

Kylie does have a slight rash which seems to be disappearing over time with the right food.

She can be shy at first when meeting new people but does come around with a short amount of time when she feels safe with them.

She has not been around children and her foster mum feels she would be fine with older children who know how to act around a little girl who is just getting used to being a dog in a big scary world. She can be very jumpy and will run to get away if startled.

Kylie is not cat or small furry tested

Toilet training is an ongoing process and her new family will have to support her through these times of change. She will go out to the garden on occasions but this will need more training and patience.

Kylie has not been out and about yet as she has only received first vaccination but her foster siblings have told her about squirrels and trees and although she was initially worried did say that she would try and be brave with her new family supporting her

Kylie will need a home where someone is home most of the time with a calm resident dog who can show her the ropes. She could live with sensible dog savvy children who are used to ex breeding dogs.
