Wren D2025-06
• Can be an only dog with doggy friends
• Can also live with other dogs
• Not cat or small furry tested
• Children over 8
Wren is a 5 year Old King Charles Cavalier who is good with people in the home, and will approach to see what the person is up to. She always has a wagging tail when anyone enters the room. Wren loves to have her ears and neck rubbed. She is not a cuddly dog yet. She has a lovely nature and loves to follow you around to see what you’re doing.
She hasn’t been out on a walk as she has only had her 1st Vaccination.
She gets excited when waiting for her food but will sit and wait when told. She takes treats gently from your hand when offered.
Wren hasn’t been around children in the foster home, but older dog savvy children aged over 8 who will give Wren the space she needs would be fine.
Not been around cats or small furries.
Wren doesn’t know how to play with toys, but foster mum, has been throwing a ball out the garden which she will chase and try and play with it.
Wren is doing good in the garden on a harness and lead. Practice makes perfect.
Wren sleeps downstairs in either the living room or kitchen on the dog beds, as she has the run of downstairs during the night, so she has a choice on where she wants to sleep.
Wren is house-trained, and she will walk back and forth to let you know she needs to go out to the toilet. When she comes in after being to the toilet she gets excited as she gets praised and she has a treat for doing good.
She eats well around other dogs but will have a little grumble if they are fed to close.
Wren would suit most families as long as they take in to consideration that family needs to be on the quieter side. She would not do well in a noisy or busy home. Once settled she will enjoy little adventures but will need the support of her family who she would prefer to be around most of the time. She could be an only dog with doggy friends or live with a resident dog.
