Posie is a 2-year old ex-breeding Cavalier cross Springer Spaniel. She is being fostered in RCT, South Wales, and loves nothing more than to relax on the sofa and sleep the day away. She enjoys a potter around the garden and is particularly fond of her chicken trays
People – Posie loves to have a cuddle from her humans and always wags her tail when you enter a room. Posie is happy around children who are gentle with her and are happy to just sit and cuddle her. She isn’t playing yet but we don’t expect it will be long.
Dogs – As an ex-breeding girl Posie likes other dogs to cuddle up to and follow so we will only rehome her where there is a kind, resident dog for company.
Cats – Not cat tested
In the home – Posie has been left for short periods with another dog for company. She can be a bit of a fussy eater and likes lots of encouragement to eat. Posie’s housetraining is a work in progress so her adopters will have to be patient and continue the good work started in her foster home.
Out and about – Posie walks well on the lead. As she has only just been spayed and not used to lead walking she is only currently going on short walks and we are building up the distance slowly.
Type of home – Posie would love a home where her humans are around a lot of the time. She is happy to be left for short periods but would need at least one kind resident dog for company. She could live with sensible children who know to be gentle with her and teach her how to play at her own pace. She would also like a sofa where she can curl up and sleep
Please remember, if you have a dog and it is not neutered, it is against our policies to re-home a dog with you.
Posie is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up to date with her flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet her in her foster home in Rhondda, South Wales
