Daisy

✨ Meet Daisy – A Bundle of Joy Looking for Her Forever Home ✨

If happiness had four legs and a wagging tail, it would be Daisy 💛
This bright, bouncy girl absolutely adores everyone she meets and greets the world with pure excitement and enthusiasm.

Daisy’s favourite things in life?
🎾 PLAYING (all of it!) – toys, balls, cuddly toys, chewy toys… if it’s in the toy box, she’s rummaging for it
🐕 Walkies – she gets so excited she’ll even lift her front paws to help you put her harness on
🤍 Company & cuddles – sofa snuggles, dog beds, and ideally sleeping close to her humans if allowed

Daisy is still young and full of beans, which means she can sometimes get a little too enthusiastic and forget her manners – especially when playing. She’s learning quickly though and responds really well to training. When her “teefs” come out during play, she’s redirected to a toy and praised, and she’s already catching on beautifully 🌟

She loves other dogs but would be happiest with an older or bigger, calmer dog who can help teach her how to play nicely. She’s especially delighted when another dog gently puts her in her place… belly rubs included!

🐾 Out and about:

• Loves walks and exploring
• Walks well alone or with other dogs
• Calm when seeing people, dogs and children on walks

🏡 At home:

• Enjoys cosy beds and sofas
• Mostly toilet trained (a few accidents while settling)
• Fussy eater but improves with praise and company
• Loves treats and enjoys them peacefully in her bed

Popsey

🐾 Popsey – D2025-93 🐾
1 year old Dachshund Cross

Popsey is a young dachshund cross who is looking for a calm, understanding home where her needs can be met as she continues her recovery and builds confidence.

Popsey can be nervous around people she doesn’t know and may initially bark and appear defensive. Once she has time to get to know someone, she settles well and is comfortable with familiar people. Because of this, adopters must be willing to allow Popsey to go at her own pace and understand that confidence takes time.

She is currently recovering from an injury to her leg. Her 10-week post-operative check went well and the vets are pleased with her progress. Popsey will now require physiotherapy to aid her recovery, which will be fully discussed with potential adopters. She has not yet been walked due to her injury but has been well-behaved and cooperative at the vet. She is used to wearing a harness and is good on the lead when needed.

Popsey enjoys the company of people and does not like being left alone in a separate room. At night she prefers to sleep either in her owner’s bed or in a crate beside the bed. She is house trained, although true to her dachshund nature, this can sometimes depend on the weather!

In her foster home, Popsey will play nicely with a submissive male dog, but she can be quite dominating with other dogs. For this reason, she would be best suited as an only dog with doggy friends, or possibly with a calm, older, submissive male dog. She has not been tested with cats or small furries.

Due to her nervousness with unfamiliar people, Popsey would be best in a home with children aged 12 years and over. She eats separately from other dogs and takes treats nicely. Toys are optional in her world – she can take them or leave them.

Popsey is very energetic, loves running around the garden, and would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time to provide companionship, reassurance, and continued training.

Popsey will be adopted on a neutering agreement and comes:

If you’re looking for a little dog with a BIG zest for life… look no further. Meet Sooty, the tiny tornado of joy who loves people, playtime and anything involving a BALL. (Seriously. Hide it at your own risk. He will find it.)

Sooty once had the most wonderful home and was a cherished, happy boy, but through very sad circumstances his mummy can no longer care for him. She made the bravest, kindest decision for him, and now Sooty is ready to find a new family just as loving as the one he came from. 💛

 What Sooty Loves (Spoiler: EVERYTHING FUN)

🎾 Ball throwing – If your arm gets tired easily… Sooty is NOT the dog for you.
🏃‍♂️ Zooming around the garden – Bonus points if other dogs chase him.
🐶 Doggie friends – A playful resident dog is a MUST. He likes friends who play, grumble, chase and generally join in the fun.
🚶‍♀️ Walkies, walkies, walkies! – He’s currently enjoying three a day and would happily fit in more.
👧👦 Children – Sooty LOVES kids of all ages, and they love him back. Because they never get bored of throwing his ball.
(Just note: he’s bouncy and fast, so children 6+ who can stay on their feet are ideal!)

✨ Snuggles – At night he melts into your bed, tucks himself as close as physically possible, and sleeps like the perfect little angel.

🐱 Cats – Absolutely not. He’ll bark, chase and complain about them loudly.
(He says they started it… we remain unconvinced.)

Sooty is looking for:

✔ A friendly resident dog who loves to play

He’s house-trained, though he may have a few accidents as he settles. He eats beautifully around other dogs and is a gentle, loving boy with the sweetest heart.
