🐾 Percy Pug – D2025
📍 Fostered in Stoke, Staffordshire
🐶 2 years old
🩺 Neutered | 1st Vaccinations | Microchipped | Flea & Worm Treated
🩷 Comes with 5 weeks’ free Agria Pet Insurance

Meet Percy, our adorable little pug with the biggest heart and the cutest wiggly tail! 💛

Percy has recently had BOAS surgery to help him breathe more easily, and he’s recovering beautifully. Because of this, he’ll need a calm, understanding home where he can build up his exercise slowly and not over-exert himself. A family with older children (or no children) would suit him best, as he’s not one for mad zoomies or endless ball chasing — he’s more of a gentle stroll and cuddle-on-the-sofa kind of boy. 🛋️

Percy can be a little shy in new situations, but once he feels safe, he’s affectionate, cuddly, and loves to be close to his humans. He’s a typical pug — full of charm, mischief, and wiggles!

🐕 Percy is great with other dogs and currently lives happily with French Bulldogs. He prefers to eat in peace, but he’s very polite and will simply walk away rather than cause a fuss.
🐈 He hasn’t met any cats yet, but with his sweet nature, we think he’d likely be fine.
🚶‍♂️ He walks nicely on the lead and enjoys gentle outings.
💤 He sleeps soundly in his bed in the kitchen but wouldn’t say no to sharing yours if invited!

Percy would love a home that understands flat-faced breeds and their needs — ideally someone familiar with BOAS recovery and management. He needs a family who will help him stay in shape and not overindulge him (as tempting as those big eyes make it!).

Percy isn’t looking for a mountaineering partner — just a family who’ll help him live his best life with plenty of love, gentle adventures, and a comfy lap to curl up on. ❤️

If you think you can offer Percy the calm, loving home he deserves…

💛 Meet Cora

Cora is a very nervous little lady who needs time, patience, and understanding to help her feel safe. Life has been overwhelming for her, but she’s slowly starting to trust and take tiny steps forward in her foster home.

🏡 The Perfect Home

💕 A Gentle Soul

Iris is a sweet little girl who’s still learning that life can be kind. She gets so excited when her foster mum walks into the room — her tail wags non-stop — but she prefers to watch quietly from her safe spot in her dog bed.

With a slow and gentle approach, Iris will happily let you stroke her head or tummy. She’s still unsure about cuddles, but she’s learning that they can feel really nice (just for short bursts at the moment!).

🍖 Food & Treats

Iris is a great little eater and doesn’t guard her food. She does a happy twirl when she knows treats are coming and will wait patiently for her meals.
She’s not quite brave enough to take treats from your hand yet, but that will come with trust and time.

🌿 Favourite Things

  • Pottering around the garden for a good sniff of all the interesting smells
  • Watching the world go by from her bed
  • Quietly observing what’s going on before deciding if she wants to join in

🚶‍♀️ Walkies & Training

Iris has only had her first vaccination, so she hasn’t started going out for walks yet.
She’s a little nervous of her harness and lead, so her new family will need to take things slowly and gently to build her confidence.
House training is still a work in progress, but she’s trying her best.

🏡 The Perfect Home

Iris would love:
🐾 A quiet home — perhaps with older people or a calm family (children 7+)
🐾 Either as an only dog with friendly doggy pals or with a laid-back resident dog
🐾 A family who understands that patience, kindness, and time will help her blossom

Not tested with cats or small furries.
Not interested in toys just yet — she’s still figuring them out!

🩺 Health

✅ Neutered
✅ 1st vaccination
✅ Microchipped
✅ Up to date with flea and worm treatment
✨ Comes with 5 weeks’ free Agria pet insurance

🐶 Ready to Fall in Love?

Iris may be shy at first, but once she trusts you, she’ll be your quiet shadow and loyal friend. She just needs someone special to help her feel safe and loved. 💖

🐾 Meet Hector D2025-85 🐾

4-year-old Mini Poodle
📍 Fostered in Cardiff

Looking for love, loyalty, and lots of cuddles?
Hector might just be your perfect match! This handsome little Mini Poodle adores his foster mum and follows her everywhere — even to the bathroom! He’s a true shadow dog who loves nothing more than curling up on a lap, giving gentle kisses, and enjoying tummy rubs.

💕 What Hector Needs

Hector is a sensitive soul who’s really starting to blossom. He used to be unsure around men, but he’s made fantastic progress and is now much more comfortable and relaxed with the men he meets. With continued patience and reassurance, he’ll keep building confidence and trust.

Hector would suit a calm, understanding home where he can continue to grow in confidence and enjoy all the love and attention he deserves.

He hasn’t been out on walks yet as he’s only had his first vaccination, but he’s comfortable wearing a harness and lead in the garden (he just likes to grab and carry the lead for fun!).

🏡 In the Home

  • Housetrained and sleeps happily on the bed next to his foster mum
  • Enjoys cuddles on the sofa or in his dog bed
  • Prefers his own space when eating but takes treats gently
  • Plays in the garden — loves chasing a ball but hasn’t quite figured out the “bring it back” part yet!

He can be an only dog with regular doggy friends or could live with a friendly female dog. He hasn’t met cats or small furries, and hasn’t met children in foster, but would likely be fine with calm, dog-savvy children aged 12+ who will respect his space.

🩺 Vet & Adoption Info

  • Neutered
  • 1st vaccination done
  • Microchipped
  • Up to date with flea & wormer
  • Comes with 5 weeks free Agria Pet Insurance
  • Vet history will be discussed with successful applicants

4 Year Old Cocker Spaniel

Crumble is a gentle little soul who is only just beginning to learn what life as a pet is all about 💛.

🐾 Can live with older, dog-savvy children
🐾 Not cat or small furry tested
🐾 House training is a work in progress
🐾 Loves her treats and is gentle taking them from your hand

🚨 ADULT ONLY HOME 🚨

“Have you seen my forever family?”

My name is Maisie, and I’m a 2-year-old mini long-haired dachshund with the softest coat, the gentlest eyes, and the biggest heart. I love my special person more than anything, and sometimes I cling to them because I’m still learning to be brave. When I feel unsure, I try to protect them like a little lioness guarding her cubs — but really, I just need someone who will show me that they’re in charge and I don’t have to be.

Maisie walks beautifully on the lead and enjoys meeting polite dogs and responsible owners when out and about. People often stop and stare at her because of her beauty, but her forever person must remember she’s not a petting toy. Maisie needs someone to advocate for her and make her feel safe.

At home, Maisie loves being with other dogs, and she must have a confident resident dog (or dogs) to show her the ropes and help her feel secure. She’s also fine with cats, house-trained, and loves to play with her toys. At night she curls up in the kitchen with the other dogs, and during the day she snoozes wherever she fancies.

Maisie isn’t a barky sausage, but if she does get noisy a firm “Ah Ah” helps her rethink things quickly. She needs someone who won’t let her become a tiny, noisy dictator but instead will guide her kindly and firmly. She prefers to eat on her own so no one steals her dinner, but she takes treats ever so gently from your hand.

What Maisie is really looking for is an adult-only home, with loving humans who set clear boundaries and a confident doggy friend who will help her shine. If you can be her protector and her guide, Maisie promises to fill your life with loyalty, cuddles, and unconditional love.

• Breed/age: 2-year-old mini long-haired dachshund

• Temperament: Loving, sensitive, lacks confidence, bonds closely to her person

• Cats: Cat-friendly

• Children: No children – she is nervous of them

Maize greets you with a wagging tail and a big smile, always ready for cuddles and ear scratches. She’s a people-loving girl who just wants to be part of the fun, though she does like to be close—sometimes a little too close, so her new family will need to be mindful of her getting underfoot.

🐾 Maize is happiest with company and will need a resident dog in her forever home to guide her and keep her confidence growing. She’s still learning about play—she’s recently started carrying teddies around, which is adorable—but she’ll need time and patience to discover the joy of toys and walks.

🐾 Adorable Collie Cross Puppies Looking for Their Forever Homes 🐾

We have 7 beautiful Collie cross puppies4 girls and 3 boys – who will be ready to go to their new homes from mid-September.

These pups have been hand-reared, which means they’ve missed out on some of the lessons mum would normally teach – like bite inhibition and boundaries. Right now, they’re typical land sharks 🦈 (hands and feet beware!), so they’ll need families committed to consistent training and positive guidance.

🐶 What They Need:

  • Patient, dog-savvy homes prepared to teach them the ropes
  • Puppy socialisation and training classes (required as part of the adoption contract)
  • Families with sensible children or adults only
  • Opportunities for adventure, enrichment, and structure
  • A willingness to continue their training journey into adolescence and beyond

They’re young enough to learn about living with cats, and can either be only dogs or join homes with other friendly dogs.

🏥 They Will Come:

  • With 1st vaccinations
  • Microchipped
  • Up-to-date with flea and worm treatments
  • With a neutering agreement as part of the adoption
  • And 5 weeks free Agria Pet Insurance

These are not just puppies – they’re our next rescue ambassadors, ready to grow into loyal, loving companions.

🛏️ Currently being fostered in Crewe, Cheshire.

previous arrow
next arrow

Gweni (D2025)

  • Needs a Resident Dog
  • Dog-Savvy Children (10 and up)
  • Fine with Cats
  • Active Home Preferred

Gweni is a 5-year-old American Cocker Spaniel, known for her sweet, friendly, and happy nature. Although she can be a bit shy at first, especially around new people, she warms up quickly once she feels comfortable. She enjoys cuddling on the sofa and loves a gentle tummy rub. Brushing is another one of her favorite activities.

When Gweni first arrived, she had a severe ear infection in both ears, but she’s made great progress and is now on ear drops. We hope the infection will be fully cleared by her next check-up on August 29th.

Gweni would thrive in a home with dog-savvy children aged 10+ and a resident dog. She’s easy-going around food and doesn’t mind if other dogs take her share, though supervision during mealtime is still recommended. She’s been exposed to cats and is generally indifferent to them.

Though she’s still getting used to leash walks, Gweni is growing in confidence and enjoys her outings. She doesn’t react to other dogs and is learning that people are safe. With continued practice, she’s becoming more comfortable in new situations.

At night, Gweni likes to sleep on her foster carer’s bed. During the day, she either rests in a dog bed by herself or cuddles with another dog. She’s fully house trained and is a quick learner when it comes to treats. She might snatch them if not given a gentle reminder, but a little training will help her blossom further.

Gweni would be happiest in a home where someone is around most of the time, whether it’s a single person, a couple, or a family with dog-savvy children aged 10+ and an active lifestyle. Another dog in the home will also help her thrive.

Ned D2025-67

Ned is a 3 and a half year old miniature Dachshund who is amazing with people. He is excited to see his foster mum when she comes down in the morning and greets her with a wagging tail. He gets so excited that he twirls around. He loves to be fussed and enjoys a tummy rub. He just loves to try and sit next to his foster mum every time she sits down and wants to be close to his humans. He follows foster mum wherever she goes and gives the most lovely sausage snogs and snuggles.

Ned can be homed with dog savvy children 8 and over.

He is not cat or small furry tested.

Ned isn’t sure about toys, foster mum tries to get him to play with a ball when she rolls it, and he does chew on a squeaky toy.

Ned gets excited when he sees the harness, but then, like a stubborn child, he falls to the floor so you can’t put it on him lol. Once the harness and lead is on, he’s fine. He hasn’t gone out for a walk yet as he’s only had his 1st vaccination, but he has been practicing in the garden ready for the big day.

Ned sleeps in an open crate in the kitchen all night.

He is fully house-trained, but when he gets excited, he has a little wee wee.

Ned is fine eating around other dogs, and he waits next to the others for his treats.

A family home would be lovely for Ned, so they can take him out for walks and on new adventures. Ned can be an only dog with doggy friends or live with another who would show him how to play and be the dog he should have always been

Moosey 2025-62

  • To be an only dog
  • Seems fine with cats
  • Dog savvy children

Hi my name is Moosey. I’m a  5 Year old American Cocker Spaniel. I’m a medium-sized boy who weighs 11.4 kg. I’m a calm around the home, I love humans and I moose around slowly all day long. My foster mum says I remind her of Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh but I’m not sure if that’s a compliment or not.

When I arrived I was taken somewhere called “the vets” foster mum kissed me on the head and told me she’d see me again after my snipperty snip, not sure what that is but next minute I was waking up and foster mum was taking me back home with a sore tummy, but nothing some cooked chicken couldn’t cure. Foster mum said I’m all sorted now and I have no health conditions. I snuggled into her, not knowing what she was going on about, but I was glad to be back to be spoiled.

I’m so good that I can live with respectful, dog-savvy children.

I enjoy being around people and I like to be nosey and see what everyone is about even the little noises ones.

I seen those furry things called cats in the garden, and they don’t bother me, but I may be inquisitive in the house.

My biggest treasure is my ball so if you come to see me please bring me lots, and I’ll love you forever.

My foster mum insists on walking me on my harness and lead in the garden, it’s fun and she tells me that I’m learning how to walk to enjoy adventures in the big world outside.

When it’s time for foster mum to turn the lights off and go upstairs to bed I follow her and she is so kind she lets me sleep in her bedroom in my soft bed.

Every time I go to the garden to look for my balls and have a wee wee or a poop foster mum tells me I’m a good boy as I never do it on her carpet and I love her praising me.

I really like my humams to throw my ball and snuggle me on the sofa so I’m not really happy to share with another doggos if I don’t have to, after all my foster mum says I’m a special boy, and special boys get all the love so it wouldn’t be fair to the other doggo in the home would it ???? So I’m happy to live as an only doggo with my humans and lap up as much love as they are giving.

I would love a home that has thousands of different colour balls so I can play with every single one. I’d like at least a three seater sofa so I can snuggle with my humans after my lovely long sniff on my walks. Being a cocker is hard as I know I’m going to love to explore the world outside, nose down sniffing the many exciting smells on the way. I may even take a ball with me.

🦸‍♂️ SUPER BANJO – The Three-Legged Hero with a Heart of Gold! 🦸‍♂️

Name: Banjo
Ref: D2022–76
Breed: Labrador Cross
Age: 5 years
Medium Size
Neutered, Vaccinated, Microchipped, Up to Date with Flea & Wormer
Includes 5 Weeks Free Agria Pet Insurance

Banjo’s journey is nothing short of heroic. 💚
This brave boy travelled thousands of miles to reach safety, and although life threw him some tough battles – including losing a leg to injury – Banjo never stopped smiling.
He found his forever home once, but heartbreak struck when his beloved mum sadly passed away. Now, this three-legged legend is searching again for the sidekick (or family team) who will love him for the rest of his days.

💚 About Banjo:
Banjo is affectionate, clever, and full of joy. He loves people, adores his walks, and enjoys zooming through fields with his three-legged swagger! He even has a set of wheels – though he hasn’t needed them in foster care.
He’s house-trained, sleeps soundly through the night, and is a big fan of memory foam beds, soft toys, and comfy sofas.

🐾 Other Dogs:
Banjo can live with or without another dog. He enjoys canine company but is just as happy soaking up all the attention himself.

👧 Children:
Best suited to older, dog-savvy children who can help guide his excitement when he gets playful.

🐱 Cats:
No cats, please – Banjo’s superhero instincts tell him they’re up to no good!

🏡 Ideal Home:
• A secure garden for zoomies and play
• Active owners who love walks and adventures
• Lots of comfy spots for snoozing and snuggling
• No cats, and ideally older children
• A few soft toys (a superhero essential 🧸)

🩺 Health Notes:
Banjo has a sensitive stomach and eats a specific diet that works well for him. He uses a raised slow-feeder bowl and doesn’t guard his food – he’s far too polite for that!

💬 Foster Mum Says:
“Banjo is an absolute dream – he makes us laugh every day. He’s loving, easy to live with, and embraces every opportunity life gives him. He’s a joy to walk, a cuddle monster at home, and truly a special boy.”

I have had my breathing sorted which means I can have all the fun I want now!

I’ve started my vaccinations but will be going on a neutering agreement!

Oh I don’t like being crated so I’m not allowed to stay long at the vets, apparently, my puglar voice isn’t as great as I think it sounds.

Be prepared for all the love and kisses you can take as I am the best companion.

I would suit almost any home but I’m far from retirement yet so someone invested in having adventures with me!

Charlie D2025-178

  • Can be an only dog with doggy friends
  • Can also live with another dog
  • Older dog savvy children
  • Loves to go walkies

Charlie is a 5 year old King Charles Cavalier who adores everyone and bounces up and down excitedly to greet everyone he meets. He is fine around children as long as they are gentle with him to start. He loves a cuddle so a little lap is always the perfect spot for an ear scratch or two.

Charlie has shown no reactions or aggression to cats visiting the garden so foster mum doesn’t think he will have a problem living with them in the house but slow introductions is a must.

Charlie likes to play with his toys and will throw them around the room.

Charlie loves to go out walking and walks beautifully on a lead he doesn’t pull and enjoys meeting doggy friends along the way. He can get unsure if the dogs he meets are overpowering to start but soon warms to them and enjoys their company.

Charlie will sleep in his dog bed on the floor next to foster mums bed. He will also sleep on the human’s bed if he’s allowed and sleeps all night.

Charlie is house trained but this may go backwards in his new home until he settles.

Charlie likes to eat everything he sees and has no problem stealing any other dogs food in the home once he’s finished his. So its best for him and his fur family if he is fed separately so he doesn’t have the chance to steal.

Charlie is looking for a family that’s going to give him the tummy tickles and attention he craves, as he’s happiest around his humans. He also loves to be around other doggies too, as long as they are kind and not dominant, as this scares him. A kind, playful, laid-back brother or sister would suit him in his new home or if not some doggy friends he can go exploring with.

Saffron D2025—51

  • Needs a resident dog
  • Not cat or small furry tested
  • Older dog savvy children

Saffron is a 7 Year old Cavashon described by her foster family as a nervous little lady. She is getting better every day and will now sit beside her foster family on the sofa. She is scared of being grabbed but will allow foster mum to pick her up for gentle cuddles and reassurance. Despite being nervous, she is a clever little girl and loves nothing more than sitting in a window or by a gate watching the world go by and getting used to the noises.

Saffron will give a little bark at new people entering the foster home but she is not a noisy dog. She will retreatingto a safe distance to work things out. Once she feels safe and is guided by a resident dog she will come and see what’s happening.  This little lady’s confidence is growing day by day and she is now asking for attention and loves a gentle stroke and tickle under the chin. Treats are always at hand and given in moderation. She has given foster mum some lovely hand licks and waggly tails.

Saffron loves being in the garden. She is unsure of how to play with toys, foster mum has sat and rolled a ball, but she just looks at it as if to say what is that. However, we are confident that with a little more encouragement and a resident dog to show to her she will get there.

She hasn’t met any children in the foster home but could be homed with dog savvy children age 10+ who will give her space and not overpower her.

Not cat or small furry tested

She has worked so hard on her harness and lead walking in the garden that she has now graduated to going for short walks outside but she needs to be with another dog to feel safe and to learn from.

She sleeps all night in the kitchen on the dog bed with the other dog in the home. During the day, it’s anywhere she feels comfortable settling down.

She is now toilet trained and been going in the garden with the other dogs.

Saffron is fine to eat around other dogs as long as they leave her alone. She does however, prefer to eat away from them if she had a choice.  She gets excited when she sees the treat bag and will take treats gently from your hand.

Saffron needs a a quiet family home with a resident dog who can help her learn and settle. She needs time to be allowed to adjust and a family who will help her practice her lead walking in the garden.

Clara D2025-43

  • Needs a resident dog
  • Older dog savvy children
  • Not reacted to seeing cats

Clara is 6 year old Cocker Spaniel who loves people. She is happy and friendly with visitors to the foster home.

Vet history to be discussed.

She has not met any children, but would probably be fine with older dog savvy children who will give her space to adjust.

She is not cat tested, but has not reacted on seeing the resident cat.

Clara is not interested in toys and is not bothered by other dogs.

Clara is happy to have a harness on and travels well in the car. She is not currently keen on walking and just stops when she doesn’t want to go any further. This is a work in progress and she will do better in a home when she is settled and bonded with the resident dog..

She currently sleeps downstairs with the other dogs, curled up on the sofa with her bestie foster sister.

Clara is house-trained and always goes out to the garden. There has been an occasional accident overnight but by the back door where she has needed to go out.

Clara knows to eat just her food and leave others alone whilst they are eating there are no guarding issues.

Clara would love a quieter home with a resident dog where she can sleep lots and have lots of cuddles. She is fine with other dogs but is also happy on her own as long as she has a human around most the time. She does not play much but loves cuddles and snuggling and giving confidence to her nervous foster sister. She would love access to a garden and trips out but not too keen on walks yet.

Primrose D2025-52

  • Needs a resident dog
  • Older dog savvy children
  • Owners who will give her time to come out of her shell

Primrose is a 4 year old Bichon described by her foster family as a nervous little girl around people. She will run to a place of safety and assess from a safe distance. Once she trusts it is safe she will sneak out for a sniff, and that’s when you get to slowly stroke her.

Once she gains your trust as she has with her foster mum you can approach slowly and she will roll on her back for tummy rubs. And once picked up she really enjoys the closeness and cuddles and just relaxes.

She has not been out on a walk yet as she has only had her 1st Vaccination. She is fine with a harness on in the garden, but not a lover of the lead being attached. So patient pawrents, lots of praise and nice treats are required. Another dog will most definitely help with this part too.She

She has not been around children in the foster home, but due to her being nervous, we would say older dog Savvy children aged 10+ would be best.

Not cat or small furry tested.

She doesn’t know how to play with toys, even though foster mum sits on the floor and tries to encourage her, but she is just not interested at the moment. We are confident in the right home and once settled she will be a different little girl.

Primrose sleeps in the kitchen on a dog bed all night with the other dog in foster. During the day she will find a quiet corner to relax and sleep.

Toilet training is a work in progress and foster mum leaves the back door open so she can go out when she needs the toilet. There has been the odd accident but this is improving.

She is fine eating around other dogs

Primrose needs a quiet, family home, where there isn’t a lot of hustle and bustle. She needs to be with another dog who will help her become the happy dog she deserves to be. She is spooked by any sudden movements.

Denis D2025-48

  • Needs a resident dog
  • Fine with dog savvy cats
  • Dog savvy children
  • Active home
  • Would benefit from attending puppy class

Dennis is an amazing 19 week old Collie cross who is full of beans and ready to start adventuring. He loves other dogs and is good with children, but due to his age and baby shark teeth, it’s recommended he be homed with children 4 and over.

Dennis is a happy but anxious boy who loves a fuss and play. He’s happy to meet new people as long as they are not overbearing. Its better that he comes to them rather than hovering over him.

Dennis is cat curious but harmless and just wants to play with them.

Dennis loves his toys but loves playing with other dogs even more, and gains his confidence from them.

Dennis has been fine on a harness or collar in the garden. He hasn’t been out and about yet due to his vaccination status.

Dennis is crate trained and sees this as his safe space.

Dennis is mostly house trained. As he’s still young, he sometimes forgets that he needs to go outside, especially if he gets carried away with indoor play. A good routine and positive reward for doing well will help with his mishaps.

Dennis would benefit from having a slow feeder in his new home, as he enjoys his food a little too much. There is no aggression with food, but he does like to pinch other dogs’ food if they are not looking.

Dennis would fit in well in most homes as long as they are active. He loves being active due to his breed and needing a lot of exercise and play time. He would also benefit from being with another dog as a playmate and adventure buddy.

Oreo D2025-00

  • Can be an only dog with doggy friends
  • Can also live with other dogs
  • Fine with cats
  • No small children
  • Active home

To be adopted on a neutering agreement and would benefit from attending puppy or training school.

Oreo is a 10 month old working cocker spaniel that needs to learn boundaries as he flies around the house and is very busy. He hasn’t had much training before coming to rescue so it’s best he not to be homed with tiny children as he could easily knock them over whilst doing zoomies in and out of the house.

He had a wobbly start and has recovered from Parvo so does have a sensitive stomach but this is being managed by consistent feeding and no treats with no issues.

Oreo is a typical working cocker, he is like a whirlwind wherever he goes, he loves seeing everyone and anything and tries to get around everyone in the home as quickly as he can with as much enthusiasm as he can. His tail is a helicopter the whole day, and he loves running and playing in fields.

Oreo lives with a cat and ignores him.

Oreo loves toys and will happily play with other dogs with or without toys.

When out he will initially pull but then walks well and loves exploring on walks with his spaniel nose to the ground.

Oreo currently sleeps upstairs, but has been previously left in the kitchen.

He is house trained but any new home should be tolerant of accidents in a new environment initially.

Oreo is fine eating around other dogs and shows no resource guarding issues.

Oreo needs a very active home willing to tire him out physically and mentally. A home with people around the majority of the day to keep him busy. He could live with or without another dog. He needs a home with experience of high energy levels of a working cocker or training of working breeds would be an advantage. He is a young dog who is full of beans and wants to explore- he is ready for someone to come and be his forever adventure buddy.

Florrie D2025-44

  • Needs a resident dog
  • Children 5 and over
  • Would benefit from attending puppy class

Florrie is a 10 month old Westie who loves people and is very friendly. She loves to play with toys and attempts to get the other dogs in her foster home to play with her without much success.

She can be homed with dog savvy children 5 and over. She is quite bouncy and may knock small children over.

She is nervous of cats and goes into panic mode and screams if they come to close to her.

She enjoys being out and about and is doing very well on walks. She prefers to wear a harness when out and about.

She currently sleeps on the bed with the other dogs

House training is a work in progress, but she is doing well with very few accidents.

She is a bit of a bowl surfer when being fed, so she needs to be watched or fed separately so she doesn’t steal others’ food. She will stop if told, and there is no food aggression.

Flo would like a home with another dog who will help her come out of her shell and gain confidence. She doesn’t like being left and doesn’t like a crate. She would like an active family who will take her out and about on adventures.

Dougie D2024-79

  • Can be an only dog with doggy friends
  • Can live with another young playful dog
  • Not bothered with resident cat
  • Would benefit from attending classes

Dougie is a year old Yorkie Cross described by his foster family as an inquisitive dog who oozes personality. He is very playful and shows great interest in soft toys and balls. He loves his other resident dogs and is eager to greet any dogs he sees on his travels. Whilst he loves lots of human cuddles and attention, he is very wary of people he has never met before, and tends to shy away as he is unsure especially if you try to pick him up. Once he trusts you he will boop you with his nose for a fuss.

He has improved while walking on a lead but would benefit from attending classes. He travels well in the car, and his favourite place is the beach. He loves chasing the ball and will bring it back, but he doesn’t quite understand the need to drop the ball for it to be thrown again. He loves the water and puddles and gets so excited that he will start doing zoomies.

Dougie barks at the resident cat in his foster home but hasn’t been near enough to know if he’s just playing.

Dougie can be rehomed with dog savvy children over 7 years old.

He shows no aggression towards other dogs when being fed collectively but prefers to eat alone so he can relax as he’s eating. If he sees another resident dog with a chew he will sit and bark at them, despite having his own.

He currently sleeps on owners bed with other dogs and will sometimes snuggle for company.

If he needs the toilet during the night he will wake me by walking on me to let me know.

He loves to chew so anything harmful or valuable needs to be placed out of reach.

As he is full of energy he would benefit from an active household who can give him the stimulation he requires. He would benefit from another resident dog but one who can match his energy and is happy to play . In the right home he could go as an only dog as he likes as much attention as he can get from the humans so an active home with doggy friends to have play dates with would be good and people home a lot to give him the training time and love he needs.

Tortoiseshell female

1 year old

Fine with cat savvy dogs

Would prefer to be the only cat

Munchkin is an extremely affectionate female tortoiseshell. Just 1 year old and she craves a soothing hand and an ear tickle. Despite having a litter of kittens at a very early age she’s in good condition with a silky smooth coat. She’s a very curious cat and enjoys kneading bread whilst having a little chat.

Munchkin’s favourite things are to be nursed on her back like a baby, eat chicken and sniff catnip. She loves being outside so would need a home with a catflap.

Munchkin loves human company so much that she’d prefer to be an only cat and is comfortable with cat savvy dogs. P.S. She’s a purr machine.

Too timid for dogs

Can be homed with other friendly cats or on her own

Hi, I’m Tinks! As you can see, sleeping is my main activity 😴 and I’m very good at it! Even though I like to lounge around, I’m happiest when I can walk in and out of the house so I’m definitely not an indoor cat.

I do like company and I’ll always be where my humans are. I tolerate being picked up for a few seconds but it’s not my favourite thing. Apart from that I’m super friendly. when I have to sleep outside the bedroom I make sure I come on the bed first thing in the morning for an extended cuddle. I also love to play with toys, use my litter tray well and may be amenable to other cats in the house if they’re friendly 😀

Letty C2025-01

8 years old

Fostered in Aberdare

Fine with very quiet calm cats and dogs

Hi everyone!

My name is Letty and I’m a beautiful ginger and white cat who’s looking for her forever home. I love humans and always want to curl up with my foster parents wherever they are. This includes sleeping with them at night and helping out in the kitchen. I’m very food motivated and currently on my weight loss journey so new owners will have to be strict with my diet even when I ask for food so adorably.

I love lounging around on soft carpets or in the sun and also like to tuck myself in bed for a snooze. I was an only cat for a long time so I like a chilled quiet environment without other boisterous cats around. I could settle with other calm pets who would allow me my space. I don’t scratch the furniture and use my litter tray nicely. I have much love to give and would be a perfect fit for a home looking for a low maintenance cuddle partner.

Letty is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, uses a scratching post and is up to date with flea and worm treatment.

Matilda D2025-177

  • Needs a resident dog of a similar size
  • Not cat tested
  • Children 10 and over
  • Poodle experienced home

Matilda is a 5 year old miniature poodle who is amazing with her foster mum but will back away when new people come into the home. Once visitors are seated she will approach them, hoping to be picked up for cuddles and snuggles. She is a lovely little girl who follows her foster mum everywhere. She watches everything, as she doesn’t want to miss out on any yummy treats.

If foster mum is sitting in a chair, Matilda will put her paws on the cushion or tap foster mum with her paw to be picked up. She likes to jump on the chair as soon as foster mum gets off to sit in her warm spot, waiting for her to return.

She loves the garden and enjoys sitting listening to all the new sounds and smells and will often try to get you to play chase with her by zooming past and looking at you.

Children 10 and over.

Not cat or small furry tested.

She tries to chase a ball but doesn’t really know what to do with it. She has taken squeaky soft toys to her bed for a cuddle.

Matilda is doing really well in the garden with a harness and lead attached under supervision. Walking outside in the big wide world will come once she feels settled.

Matilda sleeps on the sofa or dog bed in the living room during the day, and in an open crate at night.

She is house-trained and is encouraged to go to the garden regularly.

Matilda is fine eating around other dogs, and takes treats from your hand gently.

Matilda would suit a quiet family with a resident dog of a similar size and a knowledge of, or poodle experience. She would fit into most families who have the time and patience to help her adjust to being a family pet.

Mia D2025-36
• Needs a resident dog to learn from
• Older dog savvy children
• Not cat or small furry tested
Mia is a two-and-a-half-year-old Schnauzer described by her foster family as being fine with people in the home. She can be a bit nervous when new people arrive and runs to a distance so she can watch what’s going on. She will eventually join and sit in a dog bed in the living room to observe. Sudden movements scare her, and she will run to a safe place if unsure. She will join once she feels comfortable. Once happy she enjoys tummy rubs and her head stroked, and will give cuddles when ready.
She enjoys the garden, and when she sees foster mum, she gets excited and has a waggy tail, then stands on her hind legs for a little dance. If foster mum claps her hands gently she approaches and gives foster mum a lick on her hand, she gets praised and has a treat which she will take very gently.
Objects of value like a mobile phone and remote control must be kept out of reach as she will take them. She is still learning what are her toys and what are not.
Can be homed with older Savvy children, who will allow her to have her own space when needed.
Not cat or small furry tested.
Mia will play with soft squeaky toys, and will play with a ball if thrown for her. But she won’t bring it back.
She is doing well with a harness and lead in the back garden where she is supervised. She hasn’t been out on a walk as she has only had her 1st Vaccination. Until she is ready, she is continuing to practice.
During the day she sleeps on the dog bed in the living room or on the settee. During the night she sleeps in the kitchen in an open crate where she sleeps all night.
