We call Jazz the little Warrior. He is a delightful little chap who loves to play fight with his siblings and won’t back down from larger dogs. As with all young puppies, he has a battery life of around 30 minutes and needs a good hour to re-charge. When not sleeping he plays, eats and gets in to mischief. You will need to make sure you home is puppy proof and you love puppy kisses!
People – Jazz loves all of his humans except little toddlers who frighten him. He does not live with young children at present. Jazz accepts all visitors without hesitation and is happy to play with and be cuddled by everyone.
Dogs – Jazz currently lives in a foster home full of dogs young and old and he interacts well with them all.
Cats – Jazz will be fine to live with cats.
In the home – As a young puppy, Jazz is not housetrained although he is starting to stick to a pattern. He does not distinguish between soft toys and electric cables so your home will need to be puppy proof. He sleeps in his own space with his brothers and sisters and settles well at night.
Out and about – Jazz is still too young to have ventured outdoors.
Type of home – Jazz would fit into a wide range of homes. As a pup he would need someone around most of the time to continue his training and socialising. He can live with sensible children but not too young as puppy teeth hurt if he nibbles you. He would like lots of chew toys and things to keep him active as he grows. Somewhere warm and cosy to recharge his battery is a must. He can live with another dog or dogs but he may be too bouncy for old dogs.
Jazz is not neutered as he is too young so it is a condition of adoption that he is neutered at around 6 months of age. A discount voucher will be provided and follow up checks will be done. He may need a small hernia repaired at the same time. Jazz is chipped, vaccinated and up to date with his flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet him in his foster home in Rhondda, South Wales
