Meet Eddie, a big character with an even bigger heart. This handsome boy is full of joy, fun and enthusiasm, but he needs the right home to help him thrive.
🏡 What Eddie Needs
Eddie is not suited to homes with small or young children. His strength, excitement and loud barking for attention can be overwhelming for little ones. He means no harm, but his boisterous nature can easily knock children over.
Eddie also requires restricted exercise due to his bulldog conformation, so he needs a home that understands he is not a long-walk or high-activity dog. Short, controlled walks and plenty of calm time at home are essential for his wellbeing.
🐶 Personality
Eddie is a very happy, affectionate boy who loves being involved in everything. He thrives on interaction and attention, enjoys playing tug-of-war, and will happily potter around following his people. He doesn’t always understand his size or strength, especially when excited, so his new home must be confident and prepared for a big bouncy lad.

- Walks well on a harness
- Sleeps in a bed next to foster mum
- Great meeting people and other dogs on walks
- May try to pinch food from other dogs — not aggressive, just dominant
- Not suitable with cats — he chases and corners them
🐕 Other Pets
Eddie could potentially live with another dog, but we strongly recommend larger breeds only, as his rough play style could unintentionally harm a smaller dog. He would also be very content as the only dog in the home.

Eddie needs:
- A calm, less-busy home (busy environments overstimulate him)
- Owners who can offer companionship, structure and sensible, restricted exercise
- Someone confident with strong, boisterous breeds
- No small children
- No cats
- A family who understands and is comfortable with his ongoing needs related to his conformation

Eddie needs restricted exercise which will be discussed with applicants.
Due to his conformation, he may require ongoing support, and Friends of Animals Wales will cover any necessary medical bills if required.
Eddie is a loving, joyful boy who just needs the right environment to thrive. If you can offer him the patience, calmness and care he needs, he will repay you with endless affection and fun.
