NEEDS TO BE AN ONLY CAT
NOT DOG TESTED
CAT SAVVY CHILDREN
PAWRENTS WHO WILL LOVE AND ADORE HIM
Jackie is a cat that came to us as a stray. It clear that he has previously been a house cat as he is very clean. His foster mum has bestowed many pet names on him as he is such a character. His current pet name is Big Boy as since he came to us he has gained weight and really filled out. Vets estimate him to be around 5 or 6 years old and he has no known health issues
Jackie loves his food especially if there are some dreamies around. He likes a good chat whilst u have a cup of teas and will tell you all about his day which mostly consists of eating and sleeping. He is currently being kept inside as per our policy but after a period of adjustment he would like to go outside to explore and claim his kingdom.
He loves people and will always come for a fuss if you around but doesn’t like being picked up. This is getting better he’s just re adjusting to being loved and being treated with love. Once he gets to know you, he will come and sit on your lap for a while for fuss.
Jackie has not been dog tested and will needs to be an only cat as his time on the streets fending for himself has made him nervous of other cats. Its unknown how Jackie would be with children so we would recommend older cat savvy children.
Jackie just needs pawrents who will love and adore him and give him time to settle in a new home.

Mickey & Minnie are 8 week old Poodle cross Cavaliers
They have little individual personalities and love everyone and are very social. They love to play, and definitely love to cuddle.
House training, manners and basic commands are all a work in progress but in the right homes these babies will flourish. They have had a lot of human interaction and socialisation as they were born in rescue. They will need patient and loving pawrents who can offer positive encouragement to be well rounded little puppies and rescue ambassadors.
All can be homed with dog savvy children.
We are going to be inundated with applications so you are going to have to bear with us. LOVING PAWRENTS
Doti is an 8 year old princess described by her foster mum as an absolute sweet heart. She is a gentle soul who loves nothing more than being given a good head scratch. She will seek out company and attention, but is also a really easy going character who will happily snooze a few hours away on a bed, chair or rug. She’s a quiet cat but will let you know when she’s hungry. This impressive girl has adapted remarkably well to her new tri paw life. She is a good, clean cat who uses a litter tray and scratching post. Doti would make a very loving, loveable pet.
Doti is not needy, but would like people around part of the day for a chat and head scratch. She has been fine in foster with an 11 & 13y old and was apparently fine with younger cat savvy children
Doti needs to be an only cat as she feels she has to defend herself now she has lost a paw and can be edgy around other cats. She is clean in the house and not destructive at all. She has shown no interest in going outside which is good as she needs to be an indoor cat for her safety.
Not dog tested
Doti needs a home that is not too noisy or hectic with a family who will treat her as a princess.

OLDER DOG SAVVY CHILDREN
PATIENT AND LOVING PAWRENTS
Eira is a 3 year old tiny cocker spaniel who although very nervous is starting to show signs of being a fun loving, playful dog. She arrived in foster with another dog and initially took great comfort from following her around and copying her but has now found her paws and is being a brave girl. She will now slowly approach for a fuss providing another dog is close or already having attention and now loves a tickle under the chin. Eira is a little nervous of sudden movements but once she comes to you she likes a fuss and will come back for more.
She loves her food and is often seen doing zoomies around the garden of her foster home with the other dogs
Eira would like a home with no small children and older dog savvy children who are not too boisterous or noisy.
She is not cat or small furry tested
Eira is a quiet but nervous girl. She spends most of the day sleeping but has started to show signs of wanting to run about and play. She likes a rope or chew toy as well as having the odd mad 5 minutes running around playing with the other dogs in her foster home. She is fully toilet trained and loves her food.
Eira isn’t fully vaccinated so hasn’t done much lead walking but she will walk if there is another dog with her to show her what to do. She is wary of walking through doorways when on a lead.
Eira would like a quiet home with at least one kind resident dog. Patient owners who are going to give her space to build her confidence and to feel safe. She is fine to be left for a few hours and would be ok with visiting children as long as they were respectful of her.

PATIENT PARENTS WHO WILL SPEND THE TIME HELPING THEM ADJUST TO THE BIG WIDE WORLD
Celeste is a 5 year old Schnauzer described by her foster mum as very affectionate, nurturing & protective of Eira. Eira is a 5 year old Bichon who is very timid as she was attacked by a dog before being liberated and needs Celeste for comfort and reassurance. They are always looking for each other and are always cuddled up or close to each other.
Celeste is a very clean little lady and will follow you outside to toilet in the day and uses puppy pads if caught short at night. Eira is a little more timid but takes her queues from Celeste and will follow her to do her business.
They haven’t been out for a walk yet as they have only had first injections. As Celeste is the more confident of the two she is the one who will help Eira learn about the big wide world.
Celeste is getting used to people and doesn’t appear to have any problems with anyone as long as she is allowed to interact on her own terms. Eira likes to sit back and let Celeste take the lead until she knows its safe and will then decide if she wants to sat hello. They prefer to meet people on their terms and go to them rather than be crowded.
Celeste has meet the neighbour’s dog savvy 5 & 9 year olds and was happy to have and accept fuss. Eira was unsure to start but now looks forward to seeing them for all the attention she gets. They are both quiet in the home and like to sleep in her donut bed during the day & on a bean bag in foster mums’ room at night.
They have not cat been tested
This beautiful pair need to be adopted together. They enjoy the company of other dogs and would like their new pawrents to be around most of the time so they can share their love. Their pawrents need to be patient and very very loving as the girls have started to love the attention and fuss and they would like this to continue.
Both are neutered and have had 1st vaccinations, microchipped and up to date flea and wormer

CAN BE AN ONLY DOG WITH LOTS OF ATTENTION
COULD ALSO LIVE WITH A CALM RESIDENT DOG

COULD LIVE WITH OLDER DOG SAVVY CHILDREN
NEEDS LOVING AND PATIENT PAWRENTS
Glitter is a 4 year old Cavalier King Charles described by her foster mum as a friendly little girl who loves attention and is eager to greet you with a waggy tail and wiggly bottom. She had previously been living in a garage and it is a joy to see that she is now loving all the home comforts of indoor life.
Glitter enjoys fuss and attention from her humans. She is a sweet natured friendly girl and will approach you to say hello and loves an ear scratch and tickle. She is anxious to please and already responds to basic commands.
Glitter has not had the opportunity to interact with children. We think she would be fine with older dog savvy children. She is in foster with three cats and has been fine. She ignores the cats when they are in the room with her and has learnt to give the aggressive cat a wide berth.
Understandably house training is a work in progress but Glitter is learning to go outside to toilet and will use a puppy pad in the house. She enjoys sitting on the sofa at the side of her foster Mum and is fascinated by any animal programmes. She sleeps in a large crate with the other dog and they don’t make a sound until foster Mum gets up. She has been left for a few hours when foster Mum goes out with the other dogs in the kitchen and is fine as long as she has a comfy bed and the radio on.
Glitter is not fully vaccinated so has not had the opportunity to go on walks yet. She has however been on a lead and although a little hesitant you can see she will be fine with practice.
Glitter would benefit from a home where people are around most of the day to shower her with the love and affection she needs. She could be an only dog providing people are willing to make her the focus of their attention. She could also be rehomed with a calm tolerant dog who wouldn’t mind sharing the love with her. She really is a lovely dog who will make a wonderful addition to the right family.

Hutch is a delightful 10 week old French Bulldog described by his foster family as a loving pup who loves nothing more than a cuddle. He demands attention and dislikes being left alone for any length of time. As soon as you sit on the settee, he is pining for you to pick him up and cuddle him. When his foster family leaves the room he will follow them. He enjoys human interaction and needs constant attention. He is great with other dogs and has a soft spot for the resident one year old cat.
Hutch shares a crate at night with his foster fur babies and will sleep all night with company. However, if he is on his own, he will initially whine and pine for a while and needs reassurance but does eventually settle. The crate is currently in the bedroom with his foster as he is sleeping on his own. If with a fur family member, the cage is downstairs.
Hutch enjoys playing with his toys and enjoys chasing a small ball around and will sometimes bring the ball back. He enjoys the tunnel which initially was the cats, but he seems to have claimed it for himself. Hutch has ventured into the garden under constant supervision and appears to enjoy. Again, be mindful of anything he could put in his mouth or eat.
Hutch eats well and quickly. He is currently fed 4 small meals a day as advised by the vets and can be discussed as he grows.
He loves being with different people as long as they give him lots of attention and there are no issues with visitors. He has been great with teenage children but hasn’t been around young children.
Hutch is great around the resident 1 year old dog savvy cat.
A stair gate is recommended as he is looking for a future as a mountain climber and is currently wanting to practice on the stairs. A secure garden is a must so he can run around and burn off some energy but be safe. As with all puppies toilet training is a work in progress and will need to continue in his forever home. Hutch is also feeling his way around with his mouth so new potential owners will need to be mindful of anything left on the floor, as like all pups he will put anything in his mouth.
Hutch needs a patient, loving family who will teach him boundaries and basic commands to help him become a well-rounded little fur baby. He needs a secure garden to play and explore safely. He needs a family who are going to invest time.

ACTIVE FAMILY TO WORK ON HIS TRAINING AND TAKE HIM ON ADVENTURES
Noel is a 9 month old JR x Yorkie described by his foster mum as a great lap dog with the energy of a puppy. So he’s a Duracell bunny who likes to cuddle up and fall asleep with. Currently his favourite thing after being a little pocket rocket is to lay by the fire for hours. He loves big walks and adventures but is also happy with a few short walks.
Noel previously lived with cats and Guinea pigs and is currently in foster with 17 other dogs so he is well socialised. He loves all people and just wants to be all over you with excitement. He is learning to calm down and listen but this training needs to continue in his forever home
He has previously lived with young children but was nervous of their sudden movements and grabbing so we would recommend dog savvy children 10 and over.
Noel crate trained and 90% house trained. He’s is not destructive at all.
He has a lovely energy of just sheer curiosity when he’s out and about. Everything is new and he is loving discovering them. He’s is a pleasure to be with. He was great at the vets and has been happy to be groomed
Noel is looking for an active home so he can get good walks regularly with someone who has time to put into his training as he’s only a puppy. A young and active home would be great. Someone whose life means he isn’t left too long on his own. He’s young and intelligent and will thrive with some time dedicated to him

NEEDS ANOTHER PLAYFUL, YOUNG DOG FOR COMPANY
OLDER DOG SAVVY CHILDREN
NOT CAT TRAINED BUT IS YOUNG
ACTIVE FAMILY WHO WILL SHOW HER THE WORLD FROM THE TOP OF A MOUNTAIN
Blitzen is an 18 month old Jack Russell described by her foster mum as full of playful energy. She is an absolutely gorgeous little girl, with nothing but love to give. She loves to run around and burn off energy but also loves to snuggle up and have a cuddle. She doesn’t mind if it’s with another dog or her human. She is very sweet natured.
Blitzen is so good she even loves the vet. She is friendly to everyone and loves attention. A scratch behind the ear is her favourite thing. Shes good to groom and bath even good have her claws and ears done.
She has not met children but think dog savvy children would probably be her perfect match someone that will play with her a lot and then sit down and read her a nice bedtime story. Giving her lots of attention and helping her burn off all that puppy energy.
She has not met any cats but as she is young if owners had a dog savvy cat an owners with patience and know-how then this would be achievable
She is 90% housetrained, sleeps perfectly through the night with the other dogs and is not destructive or vocal. She’s a pleasure to have in the home. She will definitely find her favourite spot on the sofa and it will be next to you.
Walking on a lead is definitely a new thing to her and the outside world is all for her to discover. So far she’s taking it all in her stride with the curiosity of a puppy with a little shyness as she is coming late to being socialised.
Blitzen is looking for a young home with people with lots of energy who want to give her long walks. She would prefer to be homed with another dog as we don’t think she has lived alone before. She would like her fur brother or sister to be a younger dog that wants to engage in play and show her the world. She shows no sign of separation anxiety so can be left for a few hours while her parents do her bidding as long as she is with her fur sibling.

CAN LIVE WITH OR WITHOUT ANOTHER DOG
WOULDN’T RECOMMEND CATS
DOG SAVVY CHILDREN
A GREAT ALL-ROUNDER JUST NEEDS LOTS OF LOVE AND ATTENTION
Ben is an 11 year old Jack Russell cross described by his foster mum as a real character and a typical cheeky terrier that talks back to you with grumbles and small barks. He loves a ball and has the energy of a puppy chasing the ball around the house dribbling it with his nose, he will give up his toy when asked and if you throw it for him he will retrieve it again and again. Ben sits for a treat and has very good manners he never snatches anything out of your hand.
Ben had lots of teeth taken out when he came into foster apart from this he is as fit as a butcher’s dog. He was previously cared for very well and only came to us as his previous owner who loved him dearly had passed away. They used to go walking a couple of times a day and often ended up at the pub where they would have food. He was an elderly gentleman who was home all day and lived alone with Ben, so Ben is used to lots of attention and is used to lots of exercise.
Ben was very confused when he arrived into foster. He was still grieving the loss of his dad and being in a busier house was all new to him. He took a while to settle and he may be unsettled again in his forever home so a secure garden is a must and owners need to keep a close eye on him with lots of love and attention.
Ben is a confident little dog who obviously loves life and has lots of energy for play but settles down quietly when his humans settle for the evening and loves to have a cwtch
Despite having lots of teeth out he eats well and needs to gain a little weight
He loves people but if there are male and female in the house he radiates towards the males. He has been fine with all children as long as they are dog savvy
He has not been cat or small furry tested and is a typical terrier. Ben is fully house trained except for a little accident after he was neutered
We have been informed that Ben walks well on a lead and is friendly to all he meets
Ben would be happy with or without another dog, he would make an excellent companion dog for an older active person I think he would also be fine for a family with children. He just loves people who will play with him and give him lots of cuddles!

Brian is a 4 year old domestic shorthair crossed with Siamese described by his foster mum as a leggy long chap. He has slightly outward rotating front feet which the vet is not concerned about. He has what the vet described as ‘an allergic reaction’ on his nose but doesn’t need anything for it. It just makes him special.
Brian and his ‘friend’ Betty were rescued after the previous owners were evicted. He is the tallest, longest and loudest purrer we’ve known. He loves people and craves attention and will sleep for hours cuddled into you. He is a forward cwtcher and will literally wrap his paws around you.
Brian is a person loving chap who can be quite vocal at mealtimes when he is first in the queue. He is very very loving and seeks cuddles and stroking. Brian will be homed with his friend Betty. They were rescued together and whilst not bonded, know one another well. Brian is the more loving of the two and helps Betty remember her manners when she gets a little grumpy
Betty is a 3 year old domestic short hair rescued with Brian when her previous owners were evicted. She was malnourished but has been spoilt rotten and is now a good weight. She is an independent spirit and can prefer her own company actively seeking her own space away from the other cats. She doesn’t enjoy being handled but loves a warm windowsill with a view
Brian and Betty have not yet had the pleasure of meeting children but due to Betty being a grumpy puss we would recommend older cat savvy children who knows to leave grumpy pants alone and cuddle with Brian. They are currently in fostered with 9 other cats and Brian is very sociable and will play considerately with an eight-month-old kitten whilst offering the 21-year-old matriarch her space. Betty however will frequently lash out at them and particularly those younger or less confident luckily Brian is used to her grumpy ways and will often put Betty in her place. There are however times when Betty will swipe out at Brian but like any family they get along in the end. They are just different characters
They also share the foster home with a cat savvy Border Collie. If the dog comes too close Brian will offer a warning hiss but has not shown any aggression. Betty will just stay away from her
Betty and Brian would suit a home with no young children or other resident cats.
Brian will need a dental in the future which will be paid for by us.

NEEDS A RESIDENT CALM BUT PLAYFUL DOG OR DOGS
NOT CAT TESTED
OLDER DOG SAVVY CHILDREN
LOVING AND PATIENT OWNERS WHO WILL HELP HIM BECOME THE DOG HE WAS ALWAYS MEANT TO BE
Kris is a 5 year old ex breeding male Poodle who’s had a terrible start in life but is now beginning to be the most amazing little boy he should have always been. He’s loving his new life and all the kindness and love that comes with it. He has a little way to go but will make the right person a loving, loyal and fun companion. He is great with other dogs and is getting more confident around people. Kris is a handsome boy with a very kind nature.
Vet history will be discussed with potential adopters
Kris has improved massively around people but still has a way to go before he will be completely comfortable around strangers. Once he has built a trust with his people, he will repay you with the most loving kisses and close company you could ever wish for. He will follow you wherever you go, giving a gentle nudge behind your legs to let you know he’s there and make sure you don’t forget about him. He will sit next to you on the sofa and slowly but surely nuzzle his way closer until he is tucked up safely. He discovered “sloppy kisses” a few weeks ago and now takes every opportunity to improve his skill and technique!
Kris remains nervous around younger children and will take himself away to his safe place. He dislikes the noise and uncertainty that they can bring. He is wonderful with older, dog savvy children who will allow him to take it at his own pace to build up his trust and approach them.
Kris has not been cat or small furry animal tested.
At home Kris is happy and content to spend the day close to his person. Kris enjoys his food and yours if you don’t keep a very close eye on him taking every opportunity to “help himself” to your plate if you leave it unattended. Although this is amusing it could be very dangerous depending on the foods he’s taking. Kris is working on his basic training and responds really well to simple basic commands. Training must be gentle and rewarding so as not to knock his confidence. Training will need to continue in his forever home but a pace where he is happy.
Toilet training is still a work in progress and he is doing really well. Training will need to be ongoing and expect some setbacks while he adjusts to his new surroundings.
Kris sleeps with is foster mum in a bed or on her bed wherever he is happiest.
Throughout the day Kris will be wherever his people are. If you’re on the sofa he will be too, if you’re in the kitchen he will lay and watch your every move. Don’t expect any privacy when you’re in the bathroom either. He will be your shadow. He can be left for short periods if he has the company of other dogs.
Kris enjoys his food and will eat alongside his foster brothers at mealtimes. He is developing his sense of fun and will collect random items around the home and take them to a chosen place, now known as base camp and will chew them so observations are key!
Kris hasn’t been out and about much due to his vaccination status but is now able to commence his lead training. He is nervous of being outside on a lead but has started to relax a little and has started to investigate following the lead of his foster brothers. In a safe and secure environment Kris enjoyed an off-lead adventure and his pure delight and happiness at his new life was clear to see in his playful bounding.
Kris needs a home where he can continue his journey at his own pace. He will need the most patient and loving people around him to reassure him and show him that he is safe and that he will not be hurt anymore. He may be slow to adjust to his new home but once he has, the rewards will be endless. He needs gentle, loving pawrents who are willing to help him be the beautiful little boy he is meant to be. His new Pawrents will need to be at home most of the day. He needs a home with older, dog savvy children who will allow Kris to develop his bond and trust and understand his fears and anxiety. A home with one or more calm, friendly small/medium sized dog/s that Kris can learn from and follow their lead. Given all these things, Kris will provide you with hours of entertainment and so much love in return.

NEEDS A KIND, PLAYFUL RESIDENT DOG
GOOD WITH DOG SAVVY CATS
OLDER DOG SAVVY CHILDREN
LOVING FAMILY WHERE SOMEONE IS HOME MOST OF THE TIME.
Joy is a 2 year old American Cocker cross described by her foster family as Joy by name and joyous by nature. She is a beautiful puppy-like girl full of floppy pawed playfulness. Her cheekiness is growing daily and she has the most loving nature. Joy is still a nervous little girl with strangers and likes to be approached quietly and slowly. She is not used to being loved so is nervous of being picked up. Once she has got to know you her loving personality shines out. It’s wonderful to see her beginning to explore her new world and to run around the garden with a big soppy smile on her face. To see her get excited over the simplest of things like a carrot after breakfast and to see her happily lying on her back waving those gorgeous big paws for more fuss. She runs up to greet her foster mum, tail wagging and jumping up for kisses!
Joy will need time to settle and trust in her forever home, but day by day she will show more and more of the love she has to give. This precious little one has a truly wonderful personality, and at around two years old, is now enjoying the typical puppy-like inquisitiveness and playful nature once denied to her and she can now look forward to a life filled with love.
Joy hasn’t met any children yet. Foster mum feels that young children would prove stressful as Joy dislikes fast movements around and towards her. Older, quieter children who would understand her needs would be fine. She can initially be nervous around men but given time and space she will come around.
Joy is completely at ease with her foster family’s adult cat and will happily sleep right next to him. Not small furry tested.
Joy is almost completely housetrained. She is taken outside regularly throughout the day with the resident dogs, and let’s foster mum know if she still needs to toilet by refusing to come in. She sleeps through the night in her bed in her foster family’s bedroom but can often be found asleep next to them on the bed in the morning!
Joy travels very well in the car and is happy to jump up onto the seat. She is happy to wear a harness with over the headrest seat belt, and will snuggle down on her blanket and go to sleep during the journey. She is now perfectly comfortable wearing a collar and lead and harness, and enjoys walking around the garden wearing them. She will jump at unexpected loud noises, but is easily reassured. She hasn’t been walked in public places whilst in foster as not fully vaccinated, but was relaxed with foster mum when carried around a garden centre, and sitting on her lap in the outside cafe.
Joy will thrive in a home with someone home most of the day and where there is already a playful and kind dog. She would enjoy an active environment to stimulate her physically and mentally, and a safe, enclosed garden to explore and be free to play in. She would also love to be with someone happy to give her the cuddles and affection she adores. Joy would also benefit from living with someone experienced in positive dog training, to help her gently continue her development.

OLDER DOG SAVVY CHILDREN
A FAMILY WHERE SOMEONE IS HOME ALL THE TIME WHILST SHE SETTLES
DOG SAVVY FAMILY WHO WILL ENCOURAGE AND CHALLEGE HER BUT NOT PANDER TO ANY INSECURITIES
Fezziwig is a 10 month old spaniel cross who simply adores people. She loves to be close to her special human and will give you lots of kisses and cuddles. She is an intelligent girl and will learn quickly with the right family who can give her the time and attention she needs. She loves toys and her firm favourite is a ball which she will chase and push around all day.
As a baby toilet training is a work in progress but she has now started to toilet outside. She just needs lots of encouragement and positive rewards when she does. Encouragement to go out regularly into the garden to toilet encourages her to go.
Fez enjoys her food and is currently on a dry food diet which she is enjoying and enjoys her treats when she is learning.
Fez has come from a breeder as an unsold puppy so has not had a lot of love, human interaction or guidance on how to be a good puppy and survive in the real world so is nervous and unsure in certain situations. As this is her first time in a real home she is taking her time to adjust and can bark at noises and reflections. She needs someone who will reassure and distract her when she becomes concerned rather than pander to her insecurities. She just hasn’t found her confidence yet. She dislikes male dogs and can bark uncertainly at them.
Now that she has had a taste of love she does not like being left alone and will cry for her human to return and will need a family who is around most of the time or someone who works from home so she can brush up on her PA duties and be an excellent companion for those zoom calls.
Fez has clearly had a troubled past and although currently unsettled she needs a family that can show her that she has a very bright future if she would only trust them. There is a heart of a lioness in there somewhere it is just buried under a lot of fear and doubt.
Lead training and basic commands are all a work in progress
Fez needs a family where someone is always home. She could live with older dog savvy children who will play and encourage her. She needs to be taken to puppy classes where she can socialise in a safe space. She needs her brain to be challenged and kept active so that she finds her inner lioness and becomes the dog she was always meant to be.

Starsky is a 9 week old French Bulldog described by his foster family as a super friendly pup who adores being cuddled. Like all puppies he can be mischievous and loves to play with his toys but is not good at sharing!!!! He especially loves the tunnel toy that belongs to the cat as he can hide in it and hoard his toys. His favourite thing currently is to chase a ball around.
Toilet training is still a work in progress but that will come with time. He needs to be taken out regularly and receive positive rewards when he has done well.
He currently sleeps in a crate with another dog for company and sleeps all night. He eats really well and loves his treats and has always been fed separately.
Medical history to be discussed with potential adopters
Starsky is a friendly pup who is always happy to come and say hello to any new faces. He loves to be around people and whilst he’s young he needs his family to be around for him as a priority so he can learn the way of a well behaved dog.
He has been great with teenage dog savvy children and is currently in foster with a young dog savvy cat with no issues.
Starsky loves to explore so a stair gate is recommended as he enjoys to climb. As with all puppies Starsky can chew anything left in his way which is great if your teaching people to tidy up after themselves but not so good if you have an expensive shoe hobby!! But mainly it’s all about the snuggles! He lets you know its cuddle time by trying to clamber up your legs so he can snooze on your lap.
He has been out in the garden for short visits but loves to explore so again his forever family need to keep a close eye on him and watch what he does so he doesn’t get himself into trouble. A secure garden is a must.
Starsky will thrive with lots of attention and training with a family who have the time to spend with him. He’s such a funny character with buckets of personality.
Starsky needs a family who will spend the time adoring him but also put in the effort to train and socialise him. He can live with or without another dog if he has lots of interaction and socialisation. He can live with a cat and dog savvy children. Training is ongoing and he will need to go to puppy classes. It would also be good if his new family have eyes in the back of their head to stop him getting into trouble. Breed experience is essential.

SUPER FRIENDLY CAT
Hi my name is Ambrosia and I’m between 4 and 5 years old, the vets weren’t sure. My foster family insists on calling me Princess Potato, apparently, it’s because I like my comforts or something. I love cuddles me, scratches on the head, on my back, and don’t forget the tummy. If people forget, I gently head bump them and they start petting -works like a charm. I also like heaters, carpeted floors and throne-like cushions. I’m easy to please really! I use my litter tray like a champ, I’m happy in company but I’m also fine left to my own devices. I may be a princess but a low-maintenance one. I need someone who will give me lots of cuddles and play with me occasionally as I’ve recently remembered I’m still young and I like a wiggly string as much as the next cat.
If you need a lovebug in your life then that’s me. Cany wait to meet you.

She hasn’t shown a huge interest in going outside so could be an indoor cat or a cat that has access to the outside after a period of adjustment.

LOVES TO CUDDLE AND SLEEP ON YOU
Veronica is a beautiful, loving young lady that our vets think is around 8 years old. She loves cuddles and is particularly fond of sleeping on her humans in the night (yes that is on and not with ). Veronica enjoys playing and running around but can be a little rough sometimes so would be best suited with an older family. She has lived with dogs previously but in her foster homes has only lived with other cats which has been pretty uneventful. Veronica is a food lover so would need to be watched as she does like to sneak scraps or leftovers. Given time to settle in, Veronica would be good with outdoor space and think it would benefit her to have extra running room. This beautifully loving girls deserves the best home.

The wonderful thing about Tiggers are Tiggers are wonderful things and do we have a most wonderful Tigger looking for his forever home. Our tigger is 7 months old and was surrendered to us due to a change in circumstances and lucky for us that he was as he’s AMAZING. Tigger is a playful, lively kitten who loves to play with other cats but is respectful to the older cats in the house. His coat gleams and his markings are beautiful
As a playful kitten, Tigger prefers to play with the other cats, particularly those closer to his age. He loves chasing a laser toy and playing hide and seek. Once his energy is totally expended Tigger will curl up in his bed.
Tigger is used to the presence of younger children but his energetic play may be much better suited to older children who are aware that he may unintentionally use his claws for play
Tigger loves other cats. He will respect the distance needed by older and more grumpy cats instead initiating chase me games with other more motivated cats. He loves to play fight but will squeal submission if the play becomes too rough
Tigger is used to the presence of a cat experienced dog
Tigger loves to play, eat and explore. Inquisitive and cheeky he’ll try and seek out more food to eat or a new toy.
Tigger needs the company of another younger cat to play with and an owner who will spend time with him and shower him with love. After a period of adjustment Tigger would like to go and strut his stuff outdoors.

IF YOU LIKE A CAT WITH CHARACTER THEN SOPHIE IS YOUR GIRL.
Sophie is a 3 year old domestic short hair that was abandoned by her owner of several years due to a change in circumstances. Whilst waiting to be rescued she had to fend for herself so has a few trust issues. On one hand she can be the most loving, cwtching, kissing saint or an attacking, biting and scratching sinner. She is learning to behave but when she has that look in her eye and that tail starts swishing just walk away and give her time to think about her actions. When she is loving she is very very loving. She just sometimes needs a bit of room.
Sophie loves company. If you’re working on your computer, she wants to be on your lap. If you’re sitting reading, she wants to sleep across your lap. If you’re sleeping, she’ll want to curl around your head and lick, kiss and nuzzle you. She’ll gently pull your hand towards her for love. She’ll be the first to greet you when you come home and bound through the house at the call of her name. She’s very chatty and will let you know if you’ve forgotten to reward her with Dreamies
Sophie would not be suitable for a home with children
Sophie really, really doesn’t like other cats.
Sophie isn’t keen on any dogs and because of her unpredictable behaviour should not live with a dog
Sophie needs a patient forever home. Someone who understands that she went through a ruff patch as humans let her down and will now be there for her holding her paw to a better future. Sophie can be THE most loving cat but needs patience to regain her trust in humans

A FAMILY WHO WILL HELP HER ADJUST TO BEING AN ADORED PET BUT NOT PANDER TO HER INSECURITIES
Zena is 5 year old golden retriever described by her foster mum as a very loving girl who’s main aim in life is to please. In the home she likes to follow you around and watch what’s going on and when you sit down, she will sit down with you but currently prefers the floor to the sofa. She sleeps with the other dogs in her foster home and did initially bark but this has now stopped as long as she has a small light or night light left on (Being in a home is new to her). This is being worked on but she may become unsettled initially in her forever home and regress for a while.
Zena can suffer with separation and confidence issues and as such often jumps up and likes to hold onto you. Although being super cute this is not to be encouraged and she needs to learn to stand on her own four paws and be a brave girl. To help her be a big girl she needs another sensible dog in the home and an owner who will adore her but not pander to her. Zenas motto in life really does need to be “Big pants on, Bring it”.
Medical history will be discussed with any potential adopters.
Zena in the home can occasionally be destructive, and if left to her own devices will chew. This is great if u need to teach someone to put their things away but not so good if you have an expensive shoe collection. She is house trained and will bark to go out. She is just starting to take treats from the hand and eats well. She still needs to lose a bit of weight but with a proper diet and exercise this is coming along nicely.
Zena walks brilliantly on a lead and knows basic commands. She has obviously received training in the past. She is currently walked on a collar and a harness as she is extremely nervous when out and has the ability to very quickly pull out of her collar, so the harness is for safety reasons and she is walked on both. Foster mum would not trust her even on a long line unless in a secure field as she runs off blindly and then forgets where you are. However, her recall is coming along really well. You just need to jump around and be loud and exciting so she spots you and then comes straight back. Oh, be warned Zena also likes puddles and mud but is also happy to be bathed and massaged.
Zena is great with all people who approach her in a respectful manner. She hasn’t met any children but would be fine with older dog savvy children. Due her size and liking for clinging onto you like a limpet smaller children would not be advised.
Zena is in foster with dog savvy cats and ignores them.
Zena is just starting to carry toys around and will chase her foster fur siblings but due to being over weight soon gets tired and has a lie down and some times a power nap. Being allowed to play is new to her but this will come with the right family and fur sibling who will encourage her to be brave. She would not be good with another nervous or timid dog.
Zena needs a family who will adore her but not pander to her insecurities. A fur brother or sister or both to help her learn to be a confident dog. Gentle and regular exercise to help her with her weight loss and a family who will help her get over her current hobby of chewing things that she shouldn’t. She is full of love and all she wants to do is be close and please you. Foster mum says that she has never seen a dog with so much love to give and all she wants is a gentle hand and love in return.

NEEDS A RESIDENT DOG THAT LIKES TO CUDDLE
GOOD WITH CATS
OLDER DOG SAVVY CHILDREN
PATIENT, LOVING AND UNDERSTANDING OWNERS AS KATIE IS VERY MUCH A WORK IN PROGRESS
Katie is a 5 year old ex breeding Bichon Frise that’s had a very hard start in life and is now looking for her special forever people who will help her overcome her past and look to the future. She is the loveliest little girl with the sweetest nature that has had lots of litters which is evident by the size of her tummy.
She arrived into foster in a terrible condition and has to have all her fur shaved off. After a bath this made her feel better on the outside but she was still the confused little girl on the inside. She is going to be the most loving little dog once she can be brave and loose her fear of people and the world.
Katie loves to follow her Foster mum around and see what she’s doing, she’s very interested in everything around her and is not fazed by household noises. She also loves to follow her foster fur siblings around learning and watching how to dog. She gets excited when they do, but isn’t quite sure if she wants that fuss or not. Her tail goes but she’s not quite there yet.
She is now brave enough to take treats from foster mums’ hand but will them back away as she’s not too sure what to expect, but she is learning and every day is a new day where she is that little bit braver. These things take time and all she needs is the right family to give her that time.
Katie is wary of people and will shy away from her foster parents on occasions, taking herself off to a quiet place to watch from a distance. She hasn’t met any children yet and we wouldn’t recommend young or boisterous children. If there are children in the home then they need to be older and dog savvy. Any visiting children will need to be made aware that Katie is still learning as she missed her time at school with all the other doggos who were loved and doesn’t know that they mean her no harm.
Katie lives with a dog savvy cat in the Foster and has shown no interest. She hasn’t met any other little furries.
Katie is 99 % house trained and will only go on a puppy pad if she can’t get to the garden. She sleeps on foster mums bed with her foster sisters as she likes to be close to them. She enjoys her food and is not food aggressive but needs to be fed away from other dogs so she doesn’t eat their food as well as her own.
Katie will sit with her foster family on the sofa with the other dogs but will want to jump off if anyone moves. As long as you are sitting still, she will stay but has one eye open in case anyone moves or decides they want to murder her. This will pass in time most ex breeding dogs are unsure of humans as they just expect us to harm them as they have never known any different.
Katie enjoys having a stroll and a sniff in the bushes out in the garden but hasn’t been on any walks due to waiting on her second vaccination which is due shortly. She quite confidently goes out the garden but loves it best when she has a friend with her.
Katie needs a quiet home where she can be given time to gain her confidence without any pressure. She will need at least another resident dog for company and one that wants to snuggle up on the sofa or in a dog bed. She would suit having her owner/s home most of the time but can be left with another dog for a few hours. Children should be dog savvy and know that Katie has never been handled in a kind way so will not understand a kind friendly hand stroking her and any visiting children will need to be monitored so Katie isn’t scared.

PATIENT AND LOVING HOME
Ava is a 4-5 year old Mini Schnauzer. She is a happy little dog who is in her element in the company of other dogs. She is wary of people at first but soon allows them to say hello. Foster mum said that she is amazed that after her unfortunate start in life that she is such a friendly, adorable little dog.
She is still wary of people but has made excellent progress and will now take food and treats from a hand. She will also come and sit alongside her foster family on the sofa and enjoys a stroke and head scratch. Ava has come to welcome the family when they arrive home from school or work with a wagging tail and a little bark.
Ava walks great on the lead but is in her element in a pack of dogs playing and interacting in a safe environment. She enjoys regular walks and always greets other dogs with a wagging tail no matter the breed or size.
Ava is fully toilet trained and has a lovely temperament. She is currently having three meals a day of wet food mixed with dry food and adores a chewy to clean her teeth. She has been left for a few hours with the other dogs and been fine
Ava has been spayed and has recovered well, her fur is growing back beautifully and her classic Schnauzer eyebrows and beard are starting to grow in. Her 2nd vaccination appointment has been booked but the vets have confirmed that she can exercise.
Ava has not met any cats or small animals as yet.
She is scared of loud noises and sudden movements and will flinch and occasionally run for cover but a few words of encouragement and a loving stoke and she is soon back to her normal gorgeous self. Ava is not nervous of cars or other dogs.
Ava needs a home with older sensible children. Another dog for company and snuggles and a loving patient family who will adore her. She needs a secure back garden for sniffs and sunbathing

CHARLIE IS VERY MUCH A WORK IN PROGRESS AND NEEDS TIME AND LOTS OF LOVE TO MATURE INTO THE SPECIAL MAN HE WAS ALWAYS MENT TTO BE
Charlie is a 7 year old cavalier described by his foster mum as a special boy who needs a special family to help him become the dog he was always meant to be. He loves to cuddle on the sofa next to her with his head on her leg, but shies away if you touch more than his chest or head. He currently doesn’t like being touched all over but this is being worked on. He will sniff and take food from a hand but very gingerly. He loves to snore and does so often when having a power nap.
When his foster family have been out and about, he is excited to greet them at the door when they return but from a distance, he gets excited with the other dogs and wants to be breve but just doesn’t have the confidence yet to take that extra step. He doesn’t currently like being picked up and will run away if you try. He has probably been grabbed so many times in the past that he is worried what human hands are going to do this time. He hasn’t the confidence to interact with humans yet but you can tell by his face that he’s desperate to try. He really does rely on his foster fur family to show him how to dog.
He doesn’t know how to walk on a lead yet but this is being worked on. It’s very much gently, gently with our special boy. He has a lovely temperament and is a joy in the house, watching what goes on around him or sleeping and snoring.
Charlie is like a little old man, he is inquisitive from afar, and watches everything but not quite brave enough to interact, he is a gentle soul and although he is scared and shivers when touched, is never aggressive, just flinched away.
He has no experience with children so if there are children in the house, we would recommend older dog savvy children
He is not cat or small furry tested
Toilet training is a work in progress if the door is open he will go to toilet outside but if the door is closed he gets worried and may have an accident. He just needs to be taken out often with the other dogs and given lots of praise when he has been good.
He can climb stairs but likes to sleep on the sofa downstairs on his own. He is a quiet dog and only barks when he thinks it’s time to get up or if Poppy his foster sister is barking to greet people.
Charlie needs a loving, patient family with a resident sensible dog of a similar size who can show him the way of the world. He is getting braver every day and the changes in him already are amazing but he still has a way to go. He needs owners who have the patience to let him blossom in his own time.

IDEALLY SKYS NEW HOME WOULD BE CLOSE TO MARLOW OR SOUTH WALES
Sky is a 2 year, 8 month old French bull dog described by her foster mum as an absolutely gorgeous little lady. She loves to cuddle up to you on the sofa. She is a real character and will not fail to make you laugh. She loves a hose pipe & wishes it was constantly on for hours of entertainment. She also has her favourite toy that she will chew forever.
Sky came into rescue very very poorly and it has taken a long time for her to be well. She is now coming to the end of her steroid treatment having being diagnosed with meningitis and has a new lease of life and is enjoying every minute of it. She is fit and healthy with no ongoing conditions you would never know she had been so poorly.
Sky adores people & loves it when people love her. She will look for their attention, and doesn’t like to be ignored. If you could read her thoughts for sure they would be ‘hey have you noticed me sitting here Looking cute, please just stroke me’
She has not been child tested but foster mum believes she would be fine with dog savvy children and would especially love an older child or children with time for cuddles and play
Cats are a constant source of encouragement… and something to constantly bark at. Given a little more time she may learn to get used to them but this would need to be worked on with patience.
Sky is a good girl in the home and is toilet trained. She sleeps well through the night with no calling or barking. She is not destructive. She’s a pleasure to have around. She has her favourite places to sleep and loves a good snooze throughout the day.
Sky has not been able to be vaccinated whilst she was on steroid treatment (as advised by the vet) so has been exploring the outside world in a dog buggy. She has been politely curious with dogs she has met from a distance. Foster mum is also lucky to live in a doggy paradise with lots of fields that Sky has been able to explore on a lead and harness, and has been great.
Sky would love a home where her human is around a lot or/ and the company of another dog. This Home doesn’t need to be too active as her favourite thing is to sleep and eat but she will need to go for some walks to keep her fit and active.

PLEASE BE PATIENT WE KNOW WE ARE GOING TO BE INUNDATED WITH APPLICATIONS
Introducing Tinkerbelle, Bonnie and Clyde who are 9 week old cavaliers
The puppies all have little individual personalities that range from the very brave to sweet and nervous. All love to play, some more than others and they definitely love to cuddle.
House training, manners and basic commands are all a work in progress but in the right homes these babies will flourish. They have not had a lot of human interaction or socialisation so everything will be new to them and each will need patient and loving pawrents who can offer positive encouragement to be well rounded little puppies and rescue ambassadors.
Some may need a resident dog for guidance or an owner who is home most of the time who can give them the confidence to be strong independent little fur babies. Some will be absolutely fine on their own but will still need lots of mental and physical stimulation.
Some will be cat tested some will not. All can be homed with dog savvy children.
We are going to be inundated with applications so you are going to have to bear with us. Please give as much information on the application form as possible to help us make the right decision for these babies. Not everyone is going to be able to have a puppy so this is your opportunity to tell us why you would be the best pawrent for these puppies.

NEED LOVING PATIENT OWNERS WHO WILL HELP HIM ADJUST IN HIS NEW HOME
Joey is 2 year old Yorkshire Terrier described by his foster mum as such a sweet boy who will easily become your companion. He loves to sleep by his foster mums side on the sofa and follows her everywhere. He’s a clever dog who will sit, give paw and rollover for belly tickles. He is completely house trained. Eats really well and will remind you when it’s dinner time. He gets on well with the other dogs and has a special love for one. Joey gets excited when his foster mum get the lead out for the others so I’m sure he will love a walk when fully vaccinated. He sleeps in his bed in the kitchen overnight and settles well. He has also learned routines in the house really quickly. Joey has started to play with toys in the last week and loves to run and play in the garden.
Joey loves people, especially, if they make a big fuss of him. He may bark when they first come in the house but this quickly stops when he knows they are friendly. He has met a few small children and has been excited to be fussed by them. He also loves the dog savvy 11 year old in the house and wakes him up in the mornings with a sloppy kiss.
He’s not been cat tested.
Joey is mainly quiet in the house unless he hears a noise then will have a little bark. He sometimes asks to go out in the garden and will remind you of dinner time. He loves to sleep on the sofa next to you or his favourite dog in the house.
Joey hasn’t been out very much because he’s not fully vaccinated. He was excellent at the vets when he was neutered. Happy to greet everyone and wasn’t bothered about other dogs.
Joey would suit a home as an only dog or would be happy with another small dog to play with. He would like a home where someone is around most of the time but can be left for short periods. He will need some help to readjust in a new home as when he first came here he was nervous of going in the garden on his own. I’m sure he will adjust really quickly. He would also be happy in a home with children as long as they understood he may need time to settle.

SCARLETT IS VERY MUCH A WORK IN PROGRESS SO OWNERS HOME MOST OF THE TIME, VERY PATIENT AND LOVING
Scarlett is a very sweet 5 year old cocker spaniel described by her foster mum as a sweet natured girl who is still finding her paws in a big scary world. In her short time in foster, she has started to blossom into the wonderful dog she was always meant to be.
She hasn’t had her 2nd vaccination yet so is still confined to the house but she has now discovered that a comfy spot on the sofa is where she likes to be and will happily lie quietly and accept a fuss. She sleeps downstairs with the other dogs at night and sleeps all night. She likes the other dogs in the foster home but doesn’t really bother with them. Shes looking for that special fur buddy to help guide her to being a wonderful woofer.
Scarlett is finding house training a little bit of a challenge as she feels uneasy being in the garden, but she is very motivated by food so future training should not pose a problem for long.
She came to FOAW in a highly traumatised state and going to a new home will unsettle her for a while, however with patience and understanding she will love her new owners unconditionally.
Initially Scarlett is nervous around new people and will bark, however she has never snapped or bitten.
Scarlett could be homed with older dog savvy children that understand that sudden noises will frighten her.
Not cat or small furry tested
Scarlett is very quiet and will only bark if someone comes to the door. She will happily stay in her bed or on the sofa, but can be tempted out with a tasty treat. She is quiet at night and when left. Our attached neighbours are having extensive renovation work and she has coped well with the noise.
Scarlett needs a patient, understanding and loving home with another dog for company. A family who will allow here to progress at her own pace. Someone who will keep her company in the garden so she feels safe and will give her the confidence to want to explore and enjoy all the smells that the outside world has
