NEEDS A RESIDENT DOG
ACTIVE FAMILY WHO CAN SHOW HER THE WORLD
Acorn is a 6 month old Cavalier cross bichon who came into rescue with a hole in her heart which has now been fixed by a specialist vet. The operation went well and her recovery has been great. She is perfectly happy and healed. In fact, if we hadn’t told you, you wouldn’t know there was anything wrong with her at all. She is full of life and puppy energy and is one very happy little pup.
Ongoing she will have no health issues related to her PFA operation. She is fit and healthy in every other way. She will need one more check up at the specialist in Marlow Bucks, in May. She will need to have this last check up before given the all clear for her spaying. (Her first season is likely soon)
She is shy when you first meet her but soon learns to trust and is very loving enjoying nothing more than a good cuddle and lots of attention. She will grow into a very sweet mannered little lady as she is absolutely full of love.
She has not been out to be tested with other dogs but is great with foster mums herd and would be fine with dog savvy children.
She is not cat tested, but should adapt with the right introductions
She is very good in the home not vocal or destructive and happily sleeps down stairs with other dogs. She loves her chew toys and is a massive chewer, but only for her toys. She is 90 % there with toilet training.
Acorn would like to go to a home where she has other dogs for company. She does not suffer separation anxiety, but definitely loves the company of her human around. A young active family would be good. But she also loves to cuddle up on the sofa.
