A second chance to become the dog he was always meant to be ✨
Socks is a 6-year-old Shih Tzu cross starting over after a lifetime of relying on other dogs for confidence. Now on his own journey, he’s learning that the world isn’t so scary — especially with a warm lap, a tummy tickle, and a little liver paste involved!
He can be shy when you first meet him, but once you’ve won his trust, Socks is pure putty — a devoted, snuggly little companion who just wants to be close to his person. 💕
The outside world is still a bit big and noisy for Socks, so he needs gentle, routine walks and a calm, patient home. A confident resident dog would be ideal to show him how fun life can be.

• Someone happy to let him be their shadow
He sleeps happily as long as his human is nearby and is still learning house training — puppy pads and outdoor toileting, with the odd accident as he learns. He tries so hard to be a good boy 💙
