Reference No D2020-124

ROO MUST BE REHOMED WITH AT LEAST ONE RESIDENT DOG.

Name: Roo

Age: 22 weeks

Breed: Yorkshire Terrier/Bichon

Fostered in: South Wales

Health conditions: None known

Roo is a playful little puppy, he loves playing in the garden with a ball.

People: Roo loves people and enjoys being around them. He is happy to be groomed and have a fuss from everyone he meets.

Can live with children: Roo would be suited to a home with older children

Can live with cats: Roo has not been tested with cats in the home but is not interested by cats that come into the garden.

Can live with other dogs: Roo will need at least one resident dog in his new home to gain confidence from.

In the home: Roo eats well and loves a treat he has not shown any aggression with his food. He is toilet trained but can have the odd accident if distracted. Roo has only been left for short periods of time so far. Being a typical puppy, he does love to chew.

Out and about: Roo has not been out on a walk yet as he is awaiting vaccination, he is nervous of the lead at the moment and this will need continued work with positive reinforcement techniques.

Type of home: Roo would suit a home with a resident family dog to keep him company and help build his confidence. An active family who enjoys daily walks is essential to help burn some of that excitable energy, Roo will benefit from on going training.

Roo is currently up to date with his flea and worming treatment but he is awaiting second vaccination and neutering.

Potential adopters would be expected to travel to South Wales to meet him.
