TO BE AN ONLY DOG

NO CATS

OLDER DOG SAVVU CHILDREN

ACTIVE, EXPERIENCED HOME WHO WILL NOT PUT ANY PRESSURE ON HER AND ALLOW HER TO COME TO YOU.

Nala is a 5 year old Chinese Crested described by her foster mum as an extremely affectionate, chatty girlie who enjoys her walks, loves her soft toys, and dances on her back legs when she’s excited! She’s bright as a button, and would enjoy activities where she can use her mind. Potential adopters need to respect her breeding, and be willing to give her the space and time to unwrap the last few months and decompress.

Nala would benefit from a pragmatic and experienced owner that can speak dog and understand what she is trying to say. She grumbles and groans, and her play noises can sound confusing but if you are fluent in dog, there is little to be concerned with. Nala loves everyone, but can get overwhelmed so her new owner will need to be willing to advocate for her.

Despite looking like a teddy bear, Nala is not a family dog. Not a dog for young children, but calmer, dog respectful teens may be granted attention.

Nala thinks cats are stupid and would rather not have to share a home with them. Same goes for any other furries that might steal her limelight.

She is clean, well-mannered and sleeps in her own bed. Nala is crate trained but previous over use of the crate means she’s not overly happy at being shut in. However, she will use it as her safe space.

Nala loves her walks. She really loves running, jumping, rolling and more running. A perfect lady on the lead, Nala likes a good gawp at other dogs but has never shown any malice.

Nala needs a calm home with someone around most of the day, although she has been left alone for short periods without any problems. Potentially Nala could be trained to be left longer, but she’d much rather be with you, preferably out on a long walk. Nala would like to be the only dog in the home so she receives all the attention she has ever craved.
