CAN BE AN ONLY DOG OR LIVE WITH A DOG THAT WONT BE BOTHERED BY HIS DOMINANCE

NO CHILDREN

DOG SAVVY CATS

PATIENT OWNERS WHO CAN HELP HIM OVERCOME HIS FEARS

Milo is a gorgeous 1 year old French Bull Dog boy who shows lots of love and loyalty to his humans. He loves nothing more than being able to cuddle up on the sofa at night and snore away. Milo was not socialised for the first year of his life in his previous home and because of this he can become anxious and unsure of the world around him.

Milo loves to play with toys and this is definitely at the top of his list with human cuddling as one of the favourite things that he wants to do.

As with most frenchies, Milo has very sensitive skin, so a diet that’s either raw or grain free and hypoallergenic is important, to keep it under control.

Milo is very comfortable when he’s around confident people and people that he’s familiar with. He’s happy to let them fuss him and loves tummy tickles.

Milo can become very anxious around children of all ages and prefers to be around adults. When anxious he can become fixated on the child as though he’s waiting for a bad response. However, Milo has not shown any aggression what so ever towards a child it’s clear to see he’s fearful and unsure around them.

Milo is currently living with a dog savvy cat and although the cat is dog savvy and bossy, Milo still tries to chase her at times to play.

Milo is a laid back chilled loving dog that will have little bouts of energy in the home and then fall asleep cuddle up to his human. He likes a quiet life and too much noise or things going on in the home can make him scared. Milo can also become nervous when meeting new people and visitors to the home especially children. When Milo has access to the outside, he is fully house trained although it’s still a work in progress. When the door is shut, he may have the odd accident as he hasn’t yet learnt to let his humans know when he needs to go outside. Milo is crate trained and will happily take himself to his crate when needing space. As with most puppies Milo will try to eat anything lying around so a watchful eye is needed.

Milo is a home boy and feels safe tucked up at home with his humans. He’s not fussed when first shown his lead and collar to go on a walk but once he’s out and about he walks beautifully on the lead, He loves exploring the world around him once out on a walk but due to not being socialised in his previous home Milo can become very concerned and scared around some people and children he may see and this can lead to him becoming vocal towards them on walks.

Milo loves the calmer things in life and would be suited to an adult only home as an only dog or with a dog that will not be bothered by his dominance and pushy playful character. He would be better suited with humans that are home most of the time as he enjoys human company and can get upset if left alone for too long. We do not recommend Milo is rehomed with any young children due to how scared he can become around them. Milo will need a loving home who are willing to put time and patience into his ongoing training with lots of socialisation to help him become comfortable moving forward in the different situations he will be experiencing.
