Louis is a 11-week old (on 13/12/2018) Daxi cross Cavalier King Charles puppy who is being fostered in RCT, South Wales. He is a typical boisterous pup who loves diving around and playing. He does this for a few hours before then cuddling up for a well-earned rest to recharge his batteries before starting again.

People – Louis is a puppy who love everyone he meets. He will happily live with gentle children and adores fuss and to cuddle on your lap after a few hours of play

Dogs – Lois loves other dogs. He is a very playful pup. He would love a canine companion in his new home but any resident dogs should be neutered. He can be an only dog but will need his family with him all day

Cats – Not cat tested but should be fine as he is young enough to learn.

In the home – As with all puppies Louis will need all basic training to enable him to grow into a well rounded adult dog. He will need someone with him most of the time until he is old enough to be left. Louis will need help with housetraining, socialisation and general training. Louis is not housetrained and shows no interest in being housetrained. His new home will need to be patient and persistent with is training.

Out and about – Louis is too young to be out on walks yet so his adopters will have to make sure he gets used to walking on a lead and learns all about the big, wide world.

Type of home – Louis would fit into a wide range of homes. As a pup he would need someone around most of the time to continue his training and socialising. He can live with sensible children but not too young as puppy teeth hurt if he nibbles you. He would like lots of chew toys and things to keep him active as he grows. A nice comfy sofa is a must. He can live with another dog or dogs but he would be too bouncy for old dogs

Louis is not neutered but it is a condition of adoption that he will be neutered when old enough (a discount voucher will be provided and follow up checks will be done. He will need a small hernia repaired at the same time. We also require puppies to attend puppy socialisation classes. Louis is chipped, vaccinated and up to date with his flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet him in his foster home in Rhondda South Wales.
