Lark is a 10 month  old Pug cross who is being fostered in Gwent, South Wales She is a very well adjusted and confident girl. She doesn’t appear nervous but she does enjoy the company of other dogs and we think she needs that interaction with another resident dog.

People – Lark is very friendly towards all adults and children she has met. Always wagging her tail and running up and greeting people, Lark loves cuddling and will snuggle up but is also happy to then go into her bed when she’s ready. She can be touched and smoothed all over her body and has no issues

Dogs –  Lark is very sociable and friendly with all dogs both the ones she lives with and when meeting dogs out on walks. She wags her tail and runs up to them to greet them whatever their age, sex or size. She is very confident with all dogs. Lark enjoys playing with and chewing her toys and willingly shares her toys.

Cats – Not cat tested

In the home – Lark is happy to be left for up to 4 to 5 hours a day. She is not destructive at all and just settles down and sleeps. Lark loves to look out of the lounge window and watch and bark at the world going by but she isn’t a persistent barker by any means and it’s quite endearing. Lark gives a lovely welcome when you return from a few hours out. Lark then likes to snuggle and cuddle in for the evening.

Out and about – Lark gets very excited to go for a walk and thoroughly enjoys her walks. She walks very well on a lead. She does not pull at all and spends a lot of time just sniffing around and walking leisurely taking in her surroundings.

Type of home – Lark is very confident and sociable and would fit well into most homes. She would get on with any type of dog and person but an active home would probably be best

Lark is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up to date with her flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet her in her foster home in Gwent
