Kaiya is a 2-year old Shih Tzu girl who is being fostered in RCT, South Wales. She is a sweet-natured soul who enjoys being with her humans as much as possible

People – Yes she loves to be stroked and loves nothing more than a cuddle on the sofa with her family.

Dogs –  Yes quiet, well mannered ones. We think Kaiya has previously lived in a home where she wasn’t having the attention or socialisation that she needed so can be a bit frightened by over enthusiastic dogs.

Cats – No cats, please.

In the home – Kaiya can be left for short periods but would love her humans to be around as much as possible. She will whimper initially but soon settles.

Out and about – Kaiya likes to go out for adventures and walks well on a lead. She loves going for walks and has been to the local forest exploring a couple of times with her foster brothers. She then likes to return for a well-earned cuddle on the sofa.

Type of home – Kaiya would suit a couple/individual who are home most of the time or someone who works from home. She can live with calm sensible children as well as quiet dogs who aren’t too bouncy but would be more than happy to be an only dog and have all the attention. Someone who enjoys gentle walks and is happy to take Kaiya with them as she loves her lead walks and gets very excited to go out exploring.

Please remember, if you have a dog and it is not neutered, it is against our policies to re-home a dog with you.

Kaiya is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up to date with her flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet her in her foster home in Rhondda, South Wales.
