LOVING AND PATIENT PAWRENTS WHO WILL HELP HER GROW IN CONFIDENCE.
Jubilee is a 1 year old Schnauzer described by her foster mum as an absolute darling. Since being in foster she is progressing daily and is turning into the delightful loving little character she was always meant to be.
When jubilee arrived in foster she was curious but very unsure of human touch. she would approach humans slowly herself but when humans approached her she would sink to the floor and wet herself. With time and gentle slow hands jubilee has now learnt very quickly that human hands bring tummy scratches and kisses and the wetting is now a thing of the past.
Jubilee is fine around children but can become scared and unsure around loud children in the home. She is fine around gentle children who will give her cuddles so we would recommend older dog savvy children.
Jubilee has not been tested with cats or small furries
Jubilee is a typical cheeky but loving little girl who loves to be around her humans and doggie friends. She sleeps all night in her dog bed at the side of her foster mum’s bed. She is fully toilet trained and loves to spend as much time as she can in the garden. Very often she will be sat outside squeaking her favourite toy or just taking in the scenery. She is fine being left for a few hours with her doggie friends but being young it’s important to be mindful that she gets the urge to chew any items that may be laying around the house that look fun to have a little nibble on.
Walking on a lead is work in progress and she can become scared of the big wide outside world as it’s all new to her. New sounds on walks and new smells so slow introductions and lots of exploring will give her the confidence she needs to learn to enjoy her walks and adventures. Jubilee. She travels in a crate in the car but gets very stressed which results in her becoming car sick when travelling. Once she knows that the car means exploring and good things this will settle.
Jubilee needs a resident doggy brother or sister that she can learn from and explore with. One that could show her the world outside is for enjoying and sniffing. A doggie friend that will play with her and not shout at her when she wants to burn some energy. She would be fine living with children that will understand to give her space when she’s unsure and gently approach her until she’s comfortable with them. Most of all she just wants patient loving pawrents who will encourage her and help her gain her confidence.
