Hector might just be your perfect match! This handsome little Mini Poodle adores his foster mum and follows her everywhere — even to the bathroom! He’s a true shadow dog who loves nothing more than curling up on a lap, giving gentle kisses, and enjoying tummy rubs.
💕 What Hector Needs
Hector is a sensitive soul who’s really starting to blossom. He used to be unsure around men, but he’s made fantastic progress and is now much more comfortable and relaxed with the men he meets. With continued patience and reassurance, he’ll keep building confidence and trust.
Hector would suit a calm, understanding home where he can continue to grow in confidence and enjoy all the love and attention he deserves.
He hasn’t been out on walks yet as he’s only had his first vaccination, but he’s comfortable wearing a harness and lead in the garden (he just likes to grab and carry the lead for fun!).
🏡 In the Home
- Housetrained and sleeps happily on the bed next to his foster mum
- Enjoys cuddles on the sofa or in his dog bed
- Prefers his own space when eating but takes treats gently
- Plays in the garden — loves chasing a ball but hasn’t quite figured out the “bring it back” part yet!
He can be an only dog with regular doggy friends or could live with a friendly female dog. He hasn’t met cats or small furries, and hasn’t met children in foster, but would likely be fine with calm, dog-savvy children aged 12+ who will respect his space.
