Say hello to Hallie, our stunning young dachshund with the fluffiest coat, the happiest wiggle bum, and a heart full of love. This little lady is ready to start her next chapter with a family who can give her the structure, training and fun she needs to thrive.
💛 What Hallie Is Like
Hallie is incredibly friendly with people and greets everyone with enthusiasm. On walks she might sing the song of her people out of pure excitement, but once she gets closer, the wiggles take over!
She loves toys – playing by herself or engaging with her humans – and she sleeps happily in her crate. She’ll need a good routine for her toileting as she’s still young and learning.
Hallie is very food-motivated and eats quickly, so we recommend a slow feeder. She’ll also try to sneak a second dinner if another dog leaves theirs unattended!
🐾 Training & Needs
- To be adopted on a neutering agreement
- Would benefit from attending puppy classes
- Vaccinated & microchipped
- Older, dog-savvy children only
- Not tested with cats or small furries
- Walks on a harness but does pull – currently using a Halti and improving well
- Sleeps well in her crate
- Needs a routine for her toileting
- Needs to be the only dog OR could live with a calm, friendly male dog with careful, slow introductions
- Best suited to an active home with a good routine and plenty of exercise
