Can I live with other dogs?: Yes, a must
Fostered In: South Wales
Flo is a 5-year old West Highland Terrier cross Bichon Frise, who is being fostered in South Wales. She is unlike any other breeder girls that we have been asked to re-home. This beautiful girl came from a breeder pregnant and did the most wonderful job raising her babies with such love and care. It was a pure delight to watch her play with her puppies so gently. She would never have had the opportunity with previous litters. Flo deserves a forever home to call her own with her very own humans for her to love!
People – Flo loves people. She is unpredictable around children so she will not be rehomed where she will have contact with them.
Dogs – Flo is relaxed around other dogs and needs a canine companion to live with in her new home
Cats – Not cat tested
In the home – Flo has been left for 3 hours with the other resident dogs. Although not destructive, teddies, slippers and socks are at risk! Flo house training is a work in progress. Flo has a cheeky personality and is quite comical the lengths she will go to snuggle up with you. Flo will chew odd socks for you thus eliminating the washing machine odd sock dilemma! Cuddly toys are killed within half hour of meeting Flo as are slippers if left with no feet in them! If Flo’s humans need to go out without her she will greet them with great gusto as if you have been gone for weeks. When you get up in the morning the same enthusiasm applies. Flo doesn’t agree with the idea of personal space. She sees it as a Flo shaped gap that needs filling.
Out and about – Flo has just finished weaning her pups and has not had chance to go out on walks as of yet. Her adopters will have to be prepared to guide her and be patient with lead walks as all of this will be a new experience for her.
Type of home – A home with children over 12 years old or no children at all is what we are looking for for Flo. A household with at least one other resident dog and someone who is home most of the time and who will continue toilet and lead training. Flo’s new family must be prepared to give lots of love and reassurance!
Please remember, if you have a dog and it is not neutered, it is against our policies to re-home a dog with you.
Flo is chipped, vaccinated and up to date with her flea and worming treatment. Flo has not been neutered so it is a condition of adoption that her adopters arrange to have her neutered within the next few months A discount voucher is available and follow up checks will be done. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet her in her foster home in South Wales.
