Finn is a 3 Year old Lurcher described by his foster mum as an absolute joy! He has greeted everyone he’s met with a polite sniff and an occasional lick in his foster home and isn’t really interested in other people when out for a walk. He’s generally been good meeting other dogs but has barked at a Labrador. We haven’t met any children yet.
Finn quickly settled into his foster home. He loves to get close and especially likes cwtching curled up to his foster mum’s legs if she’s having a snooze on the sofa. He is very polite on the stairs and walks behind without pushing past.
He loves to play with toys and retrieves a ball to be thrown again and again. He also likes to run alongside his foster mum.
Finn is not cat or small furry tested.
Finn can be bouncy when he’s playing and so would be better suited to older dog savvy children. He can snatch at a toy or give a loud bark if it’s not thrown for him quickly enough.
He likes to play with toys with his human. He will race other dogs to get to a toy that’s thrown.
He’s been on walks and is very happy to have his harness and lead put on.
Finn sleeps on his foster mum’s bed along with her resident dog.
Finn is completely house trained and hasn’t had a single accident.
He’s great eating his food and taking treats around the resident dog.
Finn loves his walks and will need a reasonably active family who can take him for walks every day and enjoy playing with their dog. He’s a real catch and will make a wonderful companion. He has lived with other dogs prior to coming into foster care as well as fitting in with his foster carers resident dog. He is a lovey gentle soul who just wants to play and be loved.
