Diana is such a tiny sweet little Yorkshire Terrier, aged around 6 years old. She is being fostered in RCT, South Wales. Diana has suffered with Arthritis on the left hip. She has had an operation and has been given the all clear. Diana still favours this leg when running around. She will walk on it in the house and when she is on lead. There has been a huge improvement since she has been lead walking so we think this will continue to improve as long as she is walked regularly. Diana has always run around in circles when moving around the house and garden. We think she does this so she can see all around when she is moving to ensure she is safe, a habit from her time as a breeder. This habit is improving.
People – Diana is still a nervous little girl. She is coming to her foster mum for attention but isn’t totally sure. She will sit on mum’s lap to be checked but stays very still. Diana is not overly keen on older children but is fine around the younger ones but we think she would prefer no kids.
Dogs – Diana has lived with 3 other dogs and 6 pups. She doesn’t interact with them but follows the adult dogs when she is unsure what to do.
Cats – Not cat tested
In the home – She is happy to be left with the other dogs for company. She has no bad habits although she loves to rip paper. Diana’s housetraining is a work in progress. She is a great house dog and is really brave for such a little dog. She always lets visitors know she is there watching proceedings and keeping an eye on them.
Out and about – Diana is unsure on the lead but walks ok with another dog alongside her
Type of home – Diana is someone who is home a good amount of time with a resident dog for company. Diana would prefer a home without resident children, a quiet home as she doesn’t like a lot of people noise.
Please remember, if you have a dog and it is not neutered, it is against our policies to re-home a dog with you.
Diana is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up to date with her flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet her in her foster home in Rhondda, South Wales
