Dee Dee is an 8 year old Chocolate Labrador described by her foster mum as your typical ‘food loving’ Lab. She has settled well in her foster home and is respectful of the 2 resident dogs and is being very gentle with the 10 month old pup.
Veterinary history to be discussed with potential adopters
Dee Dee definitely needs a home that will be prepared to give her the exercise a dog of this size needs. This will need to be introduce slowly to build up her fitness but she has already lost 2 kgs since being in foster care but still has more to lose which can be discussed with her new owner.
As said she is a typical Labrador who loves anyone and everything. She is so happy, even more so when there’s food involved!
Dee Dee would like to live with dog savvy children 10 and over.
She hasn’t been tested with cats or small furries
Dee Dee is house trained and will use a crate if you want her too. She will sit for her food and as yet she hasn’t barked! She will follow you around the house but will also go to her bed if needs be.
Dee Dee is very happy out in the garden and will come back into the house when called. She’s been very friendly at the vets with people and dogs even when being treated.
Dee Dee will make the perfect pet whether it be with a big family or a smaller family. She can be with dog savvy children and with another resident dog to lead the way or on her own to soak up all the attention she really does deserve. A home that will take her on lots of adventures and let her be the beautiful dog she really is
