Cora is a very nervous little lady who needs time, patience, and understanding to help her feel safe. Life has been overwhelming for her, but she’s slowly starting to trust and take tiny steps forward in her foster home.
🏡 The Perfect Home
Cora will need a quiet, calm, and patient home where she can come out of her shell at her own pace.
- No children please — she’s frightened by sudden movements and loud noises.
- A calm, gentle resident dog would really help her confidence.
- Cora needs owners who are happy to let her take her time and celebrate the small wins.
🐶 Her Progress
- Nervous around people but is beginning to enjoy gentle strokes.
- Not yet been on walks, though she’s comfortable wearing a harness and lead for short trips (like the vets). With patience and practice in the garden, she’ll learn.
- House training is still a work in progress.
- Sleeps peacefully in an open crate or on the sofa.
- She’s not interested in toys yet — she simply doesn’t know what they’re for!
- Scared of other dogs but with the right calm dog and patient home she will flourish.
