Our beautiful boy Oreo is looking for a very special long term foster home, along with his BFF Jasper.
They are both two years old and have been with us a little while now as poor little Oreo has been through the wars a bit. He has a long term issue with his penis not fully retracting so has to be cleaned very regularly. Then in June, our poor boy developed an internal abscess in his tummy and had to have a very big operation for such a very small chap. He’s well on the road to recovery but will need a close eye kept on him.
Despite all he’s been through, Oreo is a real sweetie, and along with Jasper they really are a lovely friendly pair of guinea pigs. They are looking for a quiet loving indoor home so a close eye can be kept on Oreo and he can be kept nice and clean. In exchange for that, these two boys will keep you amused with their funny little ways and cute antics!
They will need as much room as possible – a spare room would be ideal with lots of tunnels and toys to keep them active and amused – as being typical boys they will scrap over food if kept in a small space!
Long term fostering means that FOAW will pay for Oreo’s vet fees and provide monetary help towards travel costs for his vet visits, but you will fund their day to day needs and must have access to a car so that you are able to take him to any vet appointments he may need. You will also be part of a team which will help with advice and support if and when you need it.
If you think you can give our two precious boys the special home they need, please fill in the fostering form at the end of this link: FOSTERING FORM
Jeff is an American Bulldog X Lab puppy that is around 8 weeks old and has just had his first vaccination. He has no known health issues and is a very active puppy who loves contact with humans and the other animals in his foster home. He will settle well when left alone and sleeps in his puppy pen through the night in the kitchen. He is interested in everything but shoelaces are the preferred choice, however he also loves a cardboard box. Jeff is just a typical puppy who will need to continue his training in a large breed savvy home with children over the age of 10.
He will play with toys when you play with him but he will also play by himself. He is currently left for a couple of hours and will settle, but as soon as foster mum is home, he wants to be out with her and playing.
He is in a foster home with 2 dogs who will play with him but will also tell him off when they have had enough and he will leave them alone. He is also in foster with 3 cats that allow him to sniff but from a height.
As you can imagine house training is a work in progress and this will need to continue in his forever home. Jeff’s foster mum has already commented that she has noticed that he can be very stubborn hence the need for a large breed savvy home. Someone who is going to take him to puppy classes and teach him how to be a good big boy.
Male 8 weeks old
Large and stubborn breed savvy home only
Children over 10
Only dog or with other large breed dogs
Large dog savvy cats is a maybe

Jazz is an American Bulldog X Labrador puppy that is around 8 weeks old with no health issues who has just had his first vaccination. He loves to have contact with people and playing is his favourite thing. He is a puppy so enjoys exploring and investigating new things but his current favourite thing is shoe laces.
He loves contact with people; however, he is a puppy and will tend to try and play whenever contact is made. Jazz is just a typical baby who will need to continue his training in a large breed savvy home with children over the age of 10.
He is in a foster home with 2 dogs who will play with him but will also tell him off when they have had enough and he will leave them alone. He is also in foster with 3 cats that allow him to sniff but from a height.
Housetraining is a work in progress. He sleeps in a puppy pen in the kitchen at night and sleeps all night. Being a puppy, he will investigate anything he can, he will play with toys when prompted but also of his own accord. He gets left for a couple of hours and will settle but likes to be with his foster family as soon as they are home.
He has not been out yet due to only having had his first vaccination. Jazz needs to go to a home that has experience with large stubborn breeds who will continue his training and help him become the good big boy that he is meant to be. A family home with children over the age of 10 who have experienced with large stubborn dogs would be lovely. He would make a lovely addition to the right family.

Barack is a very handsome 18 month old French Bulldog with buckets of character. He is a love bug who craves adult attention and/or food! He has been in foster now for a few weeks and has grown in confidence and has turned into a playful pup who loves snuggles on the sofa. He’s is going to bring so much love and happiness to the right home.
Barack came to foster after an operation to remove an obstruction (a fluffy toy) from his stomach. He was very underweight due to bad diarrhoea which is now under control from having a strict hypo allergenic diet. He is very food led which is useful for training and he has put on over a kg in 3 weeks.
Barack loves people and will look for attention. He loves cuddles on the sofa but also likes time on his own. He’s happy to be bathed and brushed. He’s very loving and will be easily trained as he is very food led. Barack is however very wary around children and will not be homed with children as he cannot cope in their company.
Barack would be better suited as an only dog as he needs further socialisation. He has shown interest in other dogs but has also been anti social to other dogs when out on walks so a French Bulldog savvy home would be preferred. Someone who knows the characteristics of the breed and can help him make doggo friends. Cats are not advised as he likes to chase them.
Barack wasn’t house trained when he arrived in foster but has quickly learned to go out in the garden to toilet and when on walks. He is not fully house trained yet but tends to use puppy pads if he can’t get outside in time. He sleeps in a crate at night and after a couple of nights crying, he now settles as soon as the light goes out. Barack destroys all his toys but the solid plastic bones keep him busy! He doesn’t know how to fetch yet but we’re still trying! He has been left for a few hours at a time in my kitchen and has been fine after initial crying.
Due to Barack’s nature new owners must continue to work on his behaviour around food as he does like to wolf it down so is currently having 4 small portions a day.
Barack walks well on a lead when there are no distractions. He tends to pull on walks in busy places where there are lots of dogs. He travels well in the car when on the front seat or in the back with company!
Barack is a playful pup who deserves a home where his human can give him lots of attention and continue his training. He is a quick learner and responds well to treats (his food). Barack needs patience and clear boundaries. He is very loving and affectionate and loves to cuddle up on the sofa. He enjoys his twice daily walks and would suit an active family.
Neutered male
Only dog no cats
No children and few visiting children
French Bulldog savvy home who will continue his training.
He has had his first vaccination and is chipped and up to date flea and wormer.
Barack will come with 5 weeks free Agria pet insurance
Freddie is a 1.5 to 2 year old neutered male pointer that requires a special home. You see gorgeous boy Freddie has been diagnosed with Epilepsy! But let’s not feel sad or put off by this as he’s on medication and it is under control. Freddie is a very happy and gentle boy. He’s like any other dog loves his walks, his bed and his sleep. He loves his toys and loves nothing better than throwing his rope toys or ball around and is quite happy entertaining himself and his foster mum with his antics. At the end of the day he’s happy to take himself off to bed where he is out for the count. His foster mum says he’s a little poppet, he not a needy pointer, he’s more independent than his namesake and more like a lab or beagle in his temperament. Freddie loves his foster sister Mabel and often grooms her. However, he does require more socialising with male dogs therefore, a home with another bitch or on his own is preferred. He can be a little wary of new people and looks for support and comfort from his human. He’s a special boy who needs an understanding home who has the time to keep him in his routine for his medication which currently costs around £50 a month
Neutered male 1.5-2 years old
Good with female dogs needs more socialising with males
No cats
Active adult only home or home with older children
Has Epilepsy with meds costing around £50 a month (There are options with this)
Adopters would be expected to travel to Warwickshire to meet Freddie
Say hello to Tom (AKA Elvis by some due to his rather impressive sideburns!).
When he first came into us he was a very scared little boy, having had no human interaction and picked on by other rabbits. With time and patience, he’s really coming out of his shell and with Foster Mum taking the time to feed him by hand, he is starting to relax and grow in confidence.
Tom really hasn’t had the best start to life. He is 3 years old and now needs to find his forever home with a loving wife bun to help him realise that being a rabbit can be fun. We are determined to find him the fabulous home he deserves.
Tom is now fully recovered from his physical wounds of being picked on and is ready to find a special friend and perfect forever home to continue his progress with humans who love him. Our experienced Fosterers will be pleased to advise and assist with the bonding process. He is neutered and fully vaccinated.
He would make some bun the perfect friend so if you are looking for that special bun for your girl bun, then complete an Adoption Form by clicking this link: ADOPTION FORM
Look at this pair of gorgeous oldies! Ted and Milly are looking for a LONG TERM FOSTER HOME as they are both at least 8 years old and have on-going medical issues. Long term fostering means that FOAW will pay all their vet fees and provide monetary help towards travel costs to vet visits, but you will fund their day to day rabbity needs and must have access to a car so that you are able to take them to any vet appointments they may need.
We certainly think these two have a good few years left in them! They are both full of fun and are thoroughly enjoying life together.
Milly is happy to sit on a lap and be stroked and brushed – she’ll grind her teeth with happiness and even give you a groom if she thinks you need one. Ted doesn’t mind a stroke either. They both love free roaming round the garden with Milly usually running off exploring and Ted sedately wandering around after her! They are excellent hay eaters and are experts in rolling treat balls to get nuggets out. They will both come running up if they spot a human – for love of course, nothing to do with the off chance there might be a treat!
Milly is a very determined escape artist! There’s no skill involved – if she decides she wants to get somewhere, she’ll simply jump or barge her way through! Ted just watches her go…. He knows she’ll be back for a snuggle when she’s investigated enough. These two met each other in later life and Ted didn’t have such a settled life as Milly so he’s a bit more quiet and wary. However, Milly is showing him how to find his inner rabbit now that they are together and we think he will continue to blossom in his forever foster home.
So, let’s talk about their health issues. At 8 years old, they are both actually pretty fit and healthy and their medical issues are well under control. Ted has arthritis and has daily Metacam, with Milly having daily eyedrops for dry eyes. Medication costs are covered by FOAW – all you have to do is administer and both are good patients not making a fuss with their daily treatments. A careful eye needs to be kept on Ted’s coat, particularly around his rear end as, due to his arthritis, he has problems reaching some of his nether regions! And while Milly has litter training ‘down to a T’, old boy Ted isn’t quite there so it’s puppy pads to the rescue. Both are fully vaccinated and neutered.
Foster Mum absolutely adores this wonderful pair but she knows there is a special home out there who can give them the love and care they deserve in their twilight years.
If you think you can give Ted and Milly the forever foster home they deserve, please complete a Fostering Form by clicking this link: FOSTERING FORM
Apple is a beautiful 4 year old beagle with no known health issues that has recently been rescued from a puppy farm. She is desperate to trust people but currently is a bit unsure of the world so sticks with the other dogs in her foster home for support. She is such a gentle soul who with time and patience will turn into a typical cheeky beagle. She has already worked out when it’s feeding time and sits and waits (at a distance) for her food, and is much more comfortable with her foster carer. Apple loves the other dogs and wags her tail when they try and play with her
Apple is a puppy farm dog who sadly hasn’t had lots of interaction with people or been in a home setting so understandably she is shy and nervous. She has such a gentle nature and she will let you stroke her but currently prefers to be with the other dogs so any prospective owner should have experience of dealing with puppy farm dogs to give her the time and space to gain her confidence. She would suit a home with older children or adults only
Apple loves the other dogs in her foster home as they give her so much confidence. She will need at least one resident dog in her new home. She has started to play with the others and explore the garden so is getting braver every day. Apple travels well in a car, she is currently too timid to go on walks so will need to gain confidence before this is attempted as if she’s scared, she could try and bolt which is too risky for a puppy farm dog so she is currently being lead trained in the house and garden. A secure garden is going to be a must for Apple to explore and gain confidence with her new family.
Apple currently lives with a cat and ignores him totally
Apple is a timid soul who needs someone home the majority of the day to encourage her confidence and get her used to being a loved pet. She is a typical beagle and is already figuring out where treats are kept and which is the food cupboard so any new owners ideally would be beagle experienced as we don’t think it will be long before she is much more confident and beagles can be very food motivated. Apple doesn’t currently know what toys are and needs time to get used to her new world outside the puppy farm
Apple is a wonderful dog whose cheeky nature is already poking through the scared exterior. She can live with male or female dogs, is fine with cats and can be left for short periods but would be best suited to a home where someone is around for most of the day as she needs to grow in confidence with her forever humans and have lots of positive experiences with them. Apple is going to make the gentlest girl for someone, she just needs time and patience and someone to teach her the outside world is so much better than the puppy farm she’s known all her life
Potential adopters would need to travel to Crewe to meet Apple
Apple comes with free 5 week Agria insurance
Neutered female 4 years old
Needs another dog for company but is fine with cats
Older children and someone who ideally works from home
Saffy is a 3 year old beautiful French bulldog x terrier who has no known health issues. She loves people but can be unsure to start but soon makes friends. Due to this we feel she would be best suited to a home with older children or adults only. She is more than happy to be touched and groomed when she knows you.
Saffy lives with other dogs in the foster home but would much prefers to be the only princess at home with her with people. She is starting to be confident enough to play but would much prefer her own space with some dog friends to go walking with. Saffy is looking forward to bonding with her forever family and be relaxed without other dogs to compete with
Saffy lives with a cat and was barky at him to begin with but is now fine, due to her being a terrier x she would be best suited with no small animals in the home
Saffy is such a good girl in the home, if she gets the opportunity to get up on a window sill she will bark at passing people/dogs but is learning she doesn’t need to do that and with consistent owners she will improve further. She is fine to be left for short periods and is great at getting in her bed when she knows you are leaving. She loves toys, anything with a squeaker doesn’t last long around her!
Saffy loves going out, she will bark at other dogs initially but this is improving daily and with owners prepared to work with her on her confidence she will improve further. She hasn’t been off lead yet but has good recall on a long line training lead so her foster mum is sure she will be good off lead when confident in her new home
Saffy deserves a home that is going to give her time to settle in and be prepared to have a lot of laughs with her. She is such a funny loving little dog, she’s gained so much confidence around other dogs in her foster home and she needs a home prepared to continue to give her positive dog experiences making friends so she learns she doesn’t need to bark when she sees other dogs she’s unsure of. She is such a lovely girl and will make someone the loveliest companion. Saffy would love a home with someone home the majority of the day.
Saffy has had her first vaccination is neutered, Microchipped and up to date with flea and worming treatment.
Potential adopters would be expected to travel to Crewe to meet her.
Neutered female

Noodle is great with humans, other dogs, and children. He a very smart boy, quick and willing to learn. He loves the outdoor life but loves to cuddle up inside with you too.
People: Noodle loves to be made a fuss of, but sadly was not groomed at all in his previous home. There for has disliked his matts being removed. And is slowly coming round to accepting his daily brush.
Can live with children: He lived with children in his previous home and was not a problem with either.
Can live with cats: Not sure about cats but has sat and watched the chickens in his foster home, they are much entertainment to him, and he shows no aggression towards them.
Can live with other dogs: Noodle is very balanced and a smart boy. He works out quickly who wants to play and who wants space and he honours both. He loves a good play and is very sociable.
In the home: Although given the opportunity Noodle would rather be outside, when in the home he is exceptionally good. He is house trained and not destructive. We have no need to use a crate with him, he sleeps downstairs with the rest of the dogs very happily. He is not interested in toys and is not food aggressive. There has been no aggression at all, over anything. He makes very little noise, typical of this breed. He has no separation anxiety at all and can be left.
Out and about: Noodles travels great now. We do not think he had travelled much before. He is just learning recall. He had had little or no training previously and did not even know his name. We have not seen a vet yet, but we see no problem as he is easing going.
Type of home: Noodle is a good boy and would settle in most homes. He could live with or without another dog. He will need a home that will continue with his training as he enjoys learning and is very clever.
Noodle is neutered and has had his first vaccination; he is up to date with flea and worming treatment.
Potential adopters would be expected to travel Berkshire to meet him.
Bubble and Squeak are adorable and sweet bonded sisters. They have always been together and are extremely close and loving they will snuggle and clean each other. They love humans and are loving, loyal and affectionate.
People: Bubble and Squeak love humans and will greet everyone they meet. They are very good in the bath and love to be groomed and smoothed.
Can live with children: Bubble and Squeak live with teenagers and a 10-year-old and have never shown any aggression, they are suited to a home with or without children as long as they have lots of attention.
Can live with cats: No
Can live with other dogs: Bubble and Squeak have lots of energy and are excellent on the lead. They need a home that will take them for 2 or 3 short walks a day and with a decent size garden for them to run around in. They live with two other dogs in their foster home but are probably better suited to a home without other dogs as they demand all the attention and will bark at other dogs who dare to muscle in.
In the home: Bubble and Squeak will toilet outside as long as they have plenty of opportunity. If left alone for a while they will do their business on toilet pads left next to the door. Bubble and Squeak will bark and howl if left in a room away from their humans at night. In their foster home they sleep snuggled up quietly in their crate next to their foster humans’ bed at night. They are not destructive at all; they eat a mix of grain free wet and dry food twice a day and are not food aggressive.
Out and about: Bubble and Squeak love walks and are very good on the lead. They travel well in a crate in the car.
Type of home: Bubble and Squeak deserve a home where their humans have lots of time to give them attention and affection. They need to be together and to have their humans around most of the time. They need a reasonably size garden to run around in and as they are tiny and inquisitive special attention must be made to ensure there are no small gaps in the fence they could squeeze out of. They are obedient and intelligent little dogs and love to follow their humans around.
Bubble and Squeak are neutered and up to date with flea and worming treatment. They are currently awaiting vaccination.
Potential adopters would be expected to travel to South Wales to meet them.
DARLA WILL NEED TO BE REHOMED WITH AT LEAST ONE RESIDENT DOG.
Health Conditions: Darla snores and can breathe quite loudly both awake and asleep this was checked out at the vets and there is no concern there. Darla came in overweight and her foster mum is trying to control this in her foster home. This must continue in her new home too as it may help with her snorting.
Darla is an Ex Breeding girl who adores nothing more than cuddling up to her humans. She is such an adorable girl and is slowly but surely learning how to enjoy the finer things in life. She lives with a foster brother and sister who she is learning from every day.
People: Darla is comfortable with humans in the home she loves to snuggle up to her foster family but can at times be unsure of people at first.
Can live with children: Darla is quite happy to lay on the bed of an 11-year-old boy in her foster home, snuggled up whilst he plays on his xbox.
Can live with cats: Darla has not been tested with cats
Can live with other dogs: Darla has a little Guarding problem at times, and although this is not a problem at all with humans and you can take anything away from her with no reaction at all, she can be growly around other dogs when guarding items such as socks shoes T-shirt’s toys or anything she can take that’s lying around. She has also growled when laying with her foster mum and her foster sister has jumped up close. She has never bitten another dog but just growled and jumped at them, so it would be important to monitor this behaviour as she will stop immediately once told to by her human. There is no showing of teeth just a growly warning but she stops straight away when told “no”
In the home: Darla is house trained and sleeps on the settee most nights her foster mum allows her to sleep on the bed also, but her snoring gets quite loud so if you can sleep through it she would definitely prefer to be cuddled up on the bed with her human all the time. Darla has never used a crate in her foster home. Darla is not destructive but will steal items of clothing socks and shoes and take them to the settee, or her bed. she likes to chew bones and will now and again play with toys. Darla being a typical cavvie loves to eat. She has a good appetite and her food intake must be controlled as she will eat and eat. Darla has not been left very long at one time but has been fine when left short periods she’s very excited to see you when you come back home and has a waggy tail for you and a little dance.
Out and about: Darla is more confident walking on the lead with other dogs. she can get scared of other dogs coming into her space especially bigger dogs and is not very confident when walked alone. Darla travels very well and will sit quietly in the car with her seat belt on.
Type of home: Darla loves human company but also likes to follow her foster sister around, she likes to mother her, and she is the one that she will boss about or growl at when guarding something the most. She is getting much better and is slowly learning to share her stuff, but she needs to be reminded at times so it’s important that it is monitored.
Darla is neutered, vaccinated and up to date with flea and worming treatments.
Potential adopters would be expected to travel to South Wales to meet her.

People: Aggie was aggressive when she came to into rescue due to her fear of humans and new surroundings. Her foster family has worked hard to gain her trust but this an ongoing issue and Aggie will need lots of time and patience to learn to trust new humans. Aggie is very much at the beginning of her journey and we predict her progress will be slow but with the right approach and support Aggie can flourish into the dog she deserves to be.
Can live with children: No
Can live with cats: Aggie has shown no interest in the cat in her foster home.
Can live with other dogs: Aggie gets on well with other dogs and will need at least one resident dog in her new home.
In the home: Aggie only needs to use a crate while travelling in a car, she is not destructive and has shown not food aggression. Aggie does not play with toys; she can be left up to four hours with no problem.
Out and about: Aggie does not like having a lead attached initially and this is something that will take time to get her used to. Once the lead is on, she fine and bouncing to go out. Aggie is fine for the first 20 mins then her head starts to lower, and she becomes unsure but is not distressed just more wary. Aggie still does not like being touched when out walking as she is so focused on everything happening around her. Visiting the vets is distressing to Aggie.
Type of home: Aggie will need an experienced home who are prepared to gain her trust over a period of time make regular visits while she is in her foster home. At the moment life, people and the outside world is very scary to aggie and in the past, she has reacted badly due to fear. Aggie would need a home where someone is home most of the time. Aggie really wants to be loved and cared for but so far life hasn’t shown her people are to be trusted.
Potential adopters will be expected to travel to South Wales several times to meet her.
Aggie is fully vaccinated and up to date with flea and worming treatments.
Daisy loves people and adores having cuddles, being groomed etc. She climbs up your leg to get affection and a fuss. She is a very cuddly girl and adores humans more than dogs. Daisy is in a foster home with lots of other dogs of various sizes, and whilst she gets on with them all fine, she has not bonded with any of them and always prefers human company.
People: Daisy is in her element around people, she adores them. She loves a fuss and being brushed; she rolls over for her tummy to be tickled, Daisy is a people dog.
Can live with children: Daisy can live with children who are dog savy, 7 years plus.
Can live with cats: No
Can live with other dogs: Daisy is fine with all the dogs in her foster home. Daisy is not bothered at all by other dogs, she is confident in herself and has shown her interest is in humans rather than dogs. Daisy is a confident, happy dog who does not need another dog for security, she would be happy in a loving home on her own where she gets all the love and attention she needs but the opportunity to meet other dogs occasionally.
In the home: House training is still a work in process, but she is learning quickly with the help of puppy pads. Daisy likes to sleep on the sofa, with a cushion as a pillow please. She will go in a crate if need be but would rather not. She has ventured upstairs once and then cried because she could not get back down. She likes to pull blankets from her bed and shred them but that is because she wants to play. Daisy would love to have toys and play with a human rather than a dog. Daisy has not been left yet.
Out and about: Daisy has not been walked outside her foster home yet. She travels well but needs a crate or she will try to sit on your lap and change gear. Vets adore her and she loves them too
Type of home: Daisy is confident in herself and is not in need of a dog for reassurance. She wants a human slave of course and access to play with other dogs occasionally. Daisy would love a home where she is No 1 and all her needs catered for. A home where Daisy can continue to learn matters with positive reinforcement techniques would benefit her.

Health issues: As an older boy who has experienced neglect in his life Benji has come to us with a few health issues. His foster home is currently treating Benji for a skin condition which he had when he arrived, slowly this is improving. Benji has limited sight and mobility. A slight heart murmur has been detect although our vets are nit concerned about this.
Beautiful boy with gentle soul looking for a loving lap for retirement. We feel being an only dog would be far more beneficial to him, as he doesn’t really like to share his human when it comes to cuddles. He is happy to potter around with the other dogs being there, but can be snappy if they get in his face (prob due to eyesight as well) Needs someone home a lot to look after him & for company, needs assistance to get to the garden and then toileting is ok (some accidents due to not being able to get out quickly enough). Would suit older person who does not need a walking buddy, but he loves being out & has enjoyed every time in his buggy so this would be perfect for him
People: He is a beautiful gentleman who loves attention & gentle handling. I groomed him with no issues when he was very sore… Would need a very gentle, understanding hand & soft brushing whilst skin recovers.
Can live with children: Older children would be considered.
Can live with cats: Benji can not live with cats.
Can live with other dogs: Benji would prefer a home without other dogs so he would not have to share his humans.
In the home: Benji is housetrained providing he has easy access to the garden or is taken outside. Due to his mobility issues Benji is unable to climb stars. He sleeps perfectly in crate in kitchen all night and eats in crate. He does not really play but sometimes will try to chew on an antler.
Out and about: Benji travels well in car and loves being in buggy on walks. He does not walk well himself due to lack of strength/muscle & failing eyesight
Type of home: Benji is looking for a home who someone is home most of the time. All he wants out of live is to have a companion on sofa or a comfy bed. Benji needs plenty of love, cuddles, some reassurance, and guidance in his new home to find things. Its very important that Benji is able to sleep in a crate at night, this is all he really demands out of life….the safety and security of his crate.
Benji is fully vaccinated, neutered and up to date with flea and worming treatment.
Potential adopters would be expected to travel to South Wales to meet him.

He is a very clean boy and knows the house rules of using litter tray and scratchy post. Toby is used to cat savvy dogs and is happy in their presence. Toby is 4 years old but likes a nice quiet life. He would be fine with older children who will cuddle him and read him a nice story while he falls asleep. Health Conditions: Wilma has a small fatty lump that has been checked by our vet who has no concerns about this.
Wilma is a very sweet, quiet little lady. She is still very shy and does things in her own time but once she is feeling more confident with you, she loves you with all her heart.
People: Wilma is still building on her trust issues but is quickly realising that not all humans are bad. She is very partial to foster dad and spends most of her day sat by his feet whilst he is working. She loves to be stroked and sometimes hops up for a cuddle. She is still quite nervous when being bathed and groomed but will allow it
Can live with children: Wilma currently lives with a very dog savvy 10-year-old and loves his company, but she is a quiet lady and doesn’t noise or fast movements, we would recommend similar dog savvy children or older children
Can live with cats: Not tested
Can live with other dogs: Wilma occasionally shares a bed with 1 of the other dogs in her foster home but more frequently prefers to cuddle down on her own but at the same time will bark and cry if left alone. We would recommend that Wilma either be with another dog if being left or she could be an only dog if she had constant human company
In the home: Wilma is doing well with house training but sometimes has an accident. She sleeps on the landing with the other dogs. She has not been destructive but is crate trained, she has not shown any interest with toys. She has a particularly good appetite and is starting to enjoy treats. She will growl at the other dogs if they try to steal her food. Wilma could be lift for up to four hours.
Out and about: Wilma is still quite nervous of the outside world, but her journey is only just beginning and hopefully as her confidence grows so will her interest in the joys of the outside world.
Type of home: Wilma will need a quieter home with older or no children. She will require patience and a home that will give her the time to grow into the dog she should be. Wilma loves her people once she has learnt to trust you so someone home most of the day would be preferable.

Health conditions: Both boys have little teeth but still manage to eat well. Percy has poor vision but manages well.
Percy and Parker are a bonded pair of KCCs, a black and white and a Black and Tan. They are lovely old gentlemen quickly learning how to live in a welcoming home. They have quite different personalities but are both a delight. They are learning to trust and love fusses and offer their tummies for tickles.
People: At first, they hid from everyone, but they are now happy to greet people if not rushed. Absolutely no aggression just a bit shy.
Can live with children: Older quieter children
Can live with cats: Not tested.
Can live with other dogs: Not tested but both lived with numerous dogs before arriving with us.
In the home: They are largely housetrained but occasionally don’t make it through the night. They sleep in the kitchen/hall and are happy either in separate beds or often sleep together. They love their food – twice a day, grain free soft food and until now grain free small kibble. Parker likes toys and will collect anything including shoes, letters, blankets etc and take them to his bed. He does not destroy anything though. They are very gentle boys. They do not need a crate but lived in one before coming into rescue. Both travel well.
Out and about: They are only just beginning to walk on a lead but we haven’t been very far yet. They enjoy the garden.
Type of Home: Percy and Parker would enjoy a quieter home as they sleep quite a lot and enjoy occasional fuss.

Teddy is a gorgeous friendly dog. He is so gentle and loves being fussed. He loves to be with humans and is happy to just sit by your side or on your lap. He is so quiet around the house. He likes going for walks and just plods along beside you. He is friendly with everyone he meets and is not reactive to other dogs.
People: He is friendly with everyone he meets and likes them to smooth him. He’s happy to be touched and loves a cuddle. He hasn’t been groomed but enjoys being brushed.
Can I live with children: Teddy loves children and looks to them to smooth him. He will need a home with older children because he is a bit big for toddlers.
He will play with his fosterers dogs in the house but is also happy to be independent from them. He doesn’t react to dogs on a walk but likes to say ‘hello’. He does bark at other dogs when he is in the car. Teddy would be happy as an only dog as he likes everyone’s attention. He would also be happy with another dog.
Can I live with cats: Teddy has not been tested with cats or small furry animals.
In the home: Teddy is well behaved in the home. He sleeps after a walk and this could be in a bed or on the sofa. He is house trained but will mark at the moment. Hopefully this will change when he is neutered. He sleeps in the kitchen at night in either a bed or chair. He cries a little when first left but soon settles. He is clean overnight. Teddy is not destructive and will play with some toys but likes human interaction. Teddy grazes his food all day and is not aggressive with food. He will pinch food off worktop if he can reach but can be trained not to do this. Teddy hasn’t been left for any length of time at the moment.
Out and about: Teddy is really good on walks on the lead. Sniffs about but just plods along and doesn’t pull. Teddy is quite bouncy in the car and has to be strapped in tight or he will try to move around the car.
Type of home:
Teddy would really suit a family home with older children. He will need someone who can be home a lot with him as he likes to be around humans. Also, someone who can take him for walks as he really enjoys socialising. He will be a really loyal companion. He would suit as an only dog or equally happy with other dogs in the house.
Potential adopters will be expected to travel to South Wales to meet him.
Leon is a gorgeous black lop eared bunny, just over a year old. He came into us in February having been kept indoors shut in a guinea pig cage and overweight as he’d only been fed nuggets. At under a year old, he was advertised on a website as no longer wanted but luckily for Leon he was saved by some kind hearted people who were worried about him ending up in the wrong hands.
As well as never seeing a piece of hay, he had unsurprisingly not been neutered or vaccinated so the little fella was in for some FOAW tough love, with not only vet visits but the realization that healthy happy rabbits need to eat lots of hay! But they also get spacious accommodation, lots of space to hop around and a friend to snuggle up to and have lots of fun with.
And so we introduced him to Layla… a beautiful slightly older lady bun (aged about 2½ years). Although Layla came from a loving home, her owner couldn’t keep up with her care as she is a total fluff ball and needs regular grooming to keep all that fluff under control. She also wasn’t the best hay eater in the world so had to have some dental work when she first came to us. However, she’s now happily showing Leon how great hay is so hopefully won’t need any more dental work done.
Leon is a very friendly little lad, he loves a head rub and a fuss; Layla is shyer but is growing in confidence all the time.
As with all our rabbits ready and waiting for a forever home, Leon and Layla are neutered and vaccinated.
If you think you are able to give these two beautiful bonded buns the home they deserve, please fill in the adoption link below:
Health Conditions: Moana has serious tooth decay and gum disease. She is awaiting surgery to remove the worse affected teeth. On arrival she had two very badly infected ears but has received treatment and they appear to be responding well to it.
Moana is a very gentle old lady. She has been quite traumatised by her previous experiences but is learning to trust humans. She has been keeping herself in a crate with the door open as she feels safe in there but is now venturing out to explore the new world, she finds herself in. She loves other dogs but only to greet them initially then has very little to do with them. She is living happily alongside two male Cavachon’s in her foster home. She needs patience and love to be allowed to develop at her pace. She has now built up the courage to seek affection independently and has come onto my lap for the first time in two weeks being here. Any attempts to handle Moana result in her adopting a frozen position caused by fear and anxiety of what will happen next. However, as soon as she realises she’s not going to be hurt she will relax and enjoy some physical contact
People: Moana is very scared of humans. She will watch every movement with caution until she gets used to you. She reacts well to soothing words and a low, quiet voice approach, dropping her ears and wagging her tail.
Can live with children: Moana will need a home where there are older children who can understand her needs better.
Can live with cats: Has not been tested with cats or small furry animals.
Can live with other dogs: Moana lives with two male dogs of the same breed at her foster home. She has little direct intervention with them at present but has begun to interact with a few playful bows and join in with running around the garden. She has met other dogs and was very interested and friendly especially with other females. Moana will need to be rehomed with at least one other dog.
In the home: Moana has adjusted well to being in the home environment. House training is a work in progress, but she is doing really well but will have the odd accident inside if she realises it’s raining. accidents are more likely. Moana sleeps in a dog bed next to my bed. She is happy doing so. She will use her crate in the lounge with the door open, so she is free to come and go as she pleases. Moana requires a lot of patience and understanding her needs. Moana has been left with the other dogs and will follow them in sitting and waiting at the door for my return. On returning she gets very excited to greet her foster mum. On occasion she will await her greeting in her crate.
Out and about: Moana has only been out in a dog buggy as her Vaccinations are not completed. Initially she was extremely nervous being outside but with gradual introduction and gentle encouragement, has improved greatly. She now appears to enjoy the outside environment showing interest in the sights, sounds and smells around her. Moana’s fear of people results in her freezing when handled, resulting in her allowing you to do most anything to her regarding treatment and investigations at the Vets.
Type off home: Moana will need a very patient, understanding and loving home. She is a very dear, gentle older lady who deserves to enjoy her remaining life feeling safe and secure. She will require time to adjust to her new surroundings and will need to be allowed to progress at her rate. She would enjoy being a lap dog Moana just needs to be loved and treated with the respect, dignity and understanding she deserves. She will need at least one resident dog in her new home to help her continue to grow in confidence and personality.
Moana is up to date with her flea and worming treatment and has had first vaccination. She is currently awaiting neutering and second vaccination.
Potential adopters will be expected to travel to South Wales to meet her.
Due to Covid19 lock down restrictions, we are only accepting local re homing applications.
