PATIENT PAWRENTS WHO WILL LET HER TAKE THINGS AT HER OWN PACE AND OFFER BUCKETS OF LOVE AND SUPPORT
Mira is a 3 year old King Charles Spaniel described by her foster mum as a sweet little girl who despite currently being a little frightened still loves to come for a fuss and is more than happy to settle next to you for some attention. She has the waggiest tail and is always pleased to see you. Since being in her foster home her confidence has really improved and she is learning how to be a pet.
Mira is initially nervous of people but soon comes around and once she knows you she’s more than happy to share the sofa with you.
Mira would like a home with no boisterous or noisy children please
Mira is not cat or small furry tested
Mira is an easy dog to have in the home. She’s nearly there with toilet training and enjoys her food. Her favourite thing is being close to her humans and having a gentle potter around the garden. She is also a monkey for trying to drink her foster mum’s coffee when she thinks she’s not looking
Mira has only had one vaccination so has not been lead walked. She is happy for you to put a lead and harness on but isn’t keen on walking so this will need to be worked on in her new home and taken at her own pace
Mira would like a home with people who are happy to take things at her own pace. She needs at least one kind dog and no young children. She’s happy to be left for a few hours so part time workers or retired/working from home would be good for her as long as she is with another dog.

Carrie is a 5 year old King Charles Cavalier described by her foster mum as a very sweet natured girl who loves nothing more than to sit in your lap. She is a real little princess and loves all dogs and humans although she will bark at new people when she first meets them, but her weak spot is if you give her a treat and a head rub, she will be their friend. Carrie just loves to please and is beautiful inside and out.
Carrie loves her food and dances around you when it is time for her meal. She sleeps on the couch snuggled up to the resident dogs. She does like to pick items to have a chew on but nothing of value
Carrie’s favourite toy is a beach ball where she will use her paw to make it move then she will chase it to make it move again. Carrie always sleeps on the couch with the resident dog in the home but I am sure she would love to sleep on your bed just as much whoever the adopters will be will be very lucky to have her she is wonderful
Carrie’s medical history will be discussed with potential adopters.
She is not bothered by dog savvy cats
Her toilet training is a work in progress so she will need to be taken out the garden at regular intervals.
if you nip out to the shop, she will great you with her whole-body wagging when u return.
Now she is fully vaccinated she will love going on adventures and has asked to visit the beach to find sand squirrels and the forest to find well forest squirrels. Basically, she wants to find squirrels.
Carrie is great with foster mums’ grandchildren but a little unsure of the smallest one who is only one year old, she is not bothered by the hustle and bustle of having children in the house
Carrie needs a home that will be prepared to let her curl up on your lap and sleep. She loves her human company and her pawrents will have to have patience with her as she continues to adjust to being a much-loved pet. Her toilet training and lead training will need ongoing work but the help of a resident dog will give her the confidence she needs. She just wants to be loved have a warm bed and good food in her belly. She also needs dog savvy children that will be gentle with her

OWNERS HOME MOST OF THE TIME TO HELP HER ADJUST TO THE BIG WIDE WORLD
Avery is 4 year old poodle described by her foster mum as an absolutely gorgeous girl who loves her humans. She enjoys being with you, whether that’s on a walk exploring the countryside and beaches or cuddles up for a nap on the sofa.
Avery loves people and likes to be close to her humans. She would like her people to be home most of the time as she’s not keen on being left alone. She would need owners to build up time left so she realises you will return.
Avery would like a home with no small children just in case she knocks them over in her excitement
Avery will be fine with a confident cat
Avery is great in the home. She loves her food and is virtually there with toilet training. She needs some encouragement to go out when it’s raining. She sleeps well overnight and is happy to be left for short periods but will whinge initially once left.
Avery loves going for walks and is currently walking for about half an hour a day. She will probably go a bit further once she’s in a regular routine.
Avery is looking for a home with owners who are home most of the time. She would like at least one other dog who is happy to be snuggled up to during the night and to go for walks with.

LOVING PAWRENTS WHO ARE HOME MOST OF THE TIME AND COMMIT TO HELPING HER ADJUSTING TO BEING A MUCH-LOVED PET
Jessica is a cocker spaniel estimated to be between 5 and 7 years old by our vet. She’s adored by her foster mum who has this to say “Jessica what a gal! A super happy girl, Jessica AKA Turbo Tail is an absolute dream. She is a sweet natured dog who adores people and is great with the resident dog. She is not fazed by sudden noises as her tail knocks over everything in her path, everything is exciting and new and she cannot conceal her joy with her new life. She is an older lady but don’t be put off by that as she didn’t get that memo, and she is bursting with love and life. In a word, she’s a cracker”
Jessica medical history will be discussed with potential adopters
Jessica loves everyone and has no issues with people she has met.
Not tested with dogs outside of the home but given her nature we do not foresee any problems.
Not cat tested but has ignored cats in the vets. With careful introduction, we do not foresee a problem.
Jessica’s bladder was fairly weak when she arrived in foster, and there has been a few accidents in the house. However, this is improving and she is toileting less frequently and is 95% house trained.
Jessica does suffer from separation anxiety and will bark when left. Her foster mum has been working on this and it is improving but new owners will need to commit to ongoing training.
Jessica is a typical Spaniel with her nose firmly glued to the ground whilst out. She hasn’t been out much yet, but does not pull excessively on the lead.
Jessica would fit in most home environments but would need someone that is at home most of the day and can commit to her ongoing training for her separation anxiety.

LOVES ATTENTION AND BEING FUSSED, HE IS A SUPER SOFTIE
CAN GO OUTSIDE AFTER A PERIOD OF ADJUSTMENT
Percy is a 3 year old gorgeous cat with a lot of love to give. He’s had a hard time as a stray, but now he’s in a foster home he’s adapted well to family life. His personality has come out and he is very affectionate and comes up to you for a head rub, purring with contentment.
Despite appearances, he is a big softie. He’s been very gentle with A 11y & 13 year old cat savvy kids. Percy is not a busy cat, and is happy snoozing the hours away, but when his humans are around, he loves to be stroked and adores affection.
He’s a good, clean boy who uses a litter tray and scratching post.
He’s adjusting to being in a home after being a stray and is still a bit jumpy of noises and sudden movements so we think he would prefer a quieter home but is super friendly. Doesn’t need people around all of the day but happy to see them when they are.
Not Dog tested
He’s a good clean cat currently using his litter tray and has not been destructive at all.

PATIENT, LOVING OWNERS WHO ARE HOME MOST OF THE TIME
Una is a 5 year old Shihtzu described by her foster mum as placid quiet dog who likes to be nosey. She loves to watch the tv and cuddle up on the sofa. She is not yet cuddling with her foster mum but is happy to sit on the sofa and watch tv.
In the home she s a very quiet girl and you hardly know she’s around. She doesn’t bark much but does like to follow you from room to room to keep an eye on you and in case she is missing out on anything.
She enjoys her food and is not at all food aggressive. She will also take treats nicely from the hand when offered.
She will follow the resident dog out to the garden to toilet and needs to be reminded on occasions to go out.
She loves to cuddle up with the resident dog in the home and follows them around for reassurance
She is currently learning to play and loves soft squeaky toys
She is initially shy with people but soon loves a good fuss once she knows that she is safe.
Not cat or small furry tested
She is confident in the home and quickly learnt to go up and down the stairs. One of her most favourite thing to do is look out the window and watch the world go by
Lead training is a work in progress and she is learning from the resident dog in the home and is using their confidence to explore the great outdoors.
Una needs a home with patient owners who are around most of the day and have a chilled resident dog. PATIENT OWNERS WHO CAN GIVE HER TIME TO DECOMPRESS AND ALLOW HER TO COME OUT OF HER SHELL IN HER OWN TIME
Cracker is a 4-year-old JRT that has come a long way since being in foster. She was nervous and didn’t want much human contact when she first arrived but now, she will sit behind her foster mum on the sofa and put her front legs up on her back. We call this playing piggy back. She’s still not 100% there with wanting to cuddle but is happy to be close on her own terms.
Her ears were really filthy when she came into rescue and is still having them cleaned and drops applied
Not cat or small furry tested
Cracker does not drink a lot but will drink a little if you take water to hr or a little water can be added to her food if there are concerns. She is on a soft food diet after having 16 teeth remove but despite this Cracker wolfs her food down like there’s no tomorrow so we would recommend that her pawrents get her a slow feeder so she can actually taste her food
Toilet training is still ongoing and she was doing well but has taken a backward step since being neutered. She will follow the resident dog out to the garden but needs a little patience while she settles
Cracker has just started to play and gets very excited when anyone arrives home. She’s not fussed on toys or dog treats but likes chicken.
Cracker has started to feel comfortable around people and is fine with children as long as they don’t bother her too much in the beginning. She needs to come to people in her own time and not have people forced on her. Every day she gets a bit better and given time and patience this will improve.
Cracker does not like loud unexpected noises and will run and hide.
Cracker seems to have a small head and can get out of her collar and harness if it’s not put on correctly, we would definitely recommend both a collar and harness when out walking to be on the safe side. She has just started to go out on walks and it’s taking time for her to get used to them. She goes with the other dogs and looks to them for comfort and support.
Cracker needs a home with a resident dog who can help her adjust to being a pet. She needs an understanding family who will give her time to settle and not be too demanding on her to start. She needs to find her own paws in her own time.

MARCELINE IS A WORK IN PROGRESS AND HER NEW FAMILY WILL BE IMPORTANT IN CHANGING HER LIFE
RESIDENT CONFIDENT CALM DOG
OLDER DOG SAVVY CHILDREN
NOT CAT TESTED BUT EXPECTED TO BE FINE
OWNERS HOME MOST OF THE TIME TO HELP HER FEEL SETTLED AND LOVED ENOUGH TO TRUST
PATIENT OWNERS AS THINGS NEED TO BE DONE AT HER PACE, NO RUSHING HER.
Marceline is a 4 year old Bichon described by her foster mum as a small but beautiful ex breeding girl who came into her foster home shaved, scared of life and shaking with fear every time a human went near her. She’s progressed so much from the dog she was when she arrived, but she is still not quite there yet as she doesn’t fully understand that she can trust humans and that she will no longer be locked away and neglected but this will definitely come with time. She has come far enough to now need the stability only a forever home can offer.
Marceline is progressing everyday, she is hand shy and would prefer her humans to keep their distance until she is ready to trust. She will take treats from her foster mums’ hands and will nudge her feet when she’s sat watching tv for attention, she’s even learnt that the settee is very comfy but will run if approached as she’s still learning to relax around humans. She barks wags her tail and gets excited in the morning when she sees her foster mum and she knows breakfast is on its way.
Marceline is not bothered by children but will run from them if approached. So we would recommend older dog savvy children.
Marceline has not been tested with cats or small furries but her foster mum doesn’t think she would be interested
She has now started showing her foster mum the beautiful playful and inquisitive little girl that was hiding under all that fear when she arrived. She likes to steal washing that’s left on the floor and take it to her safe space to investigate and she likes to follow the other dogs watching what they do whilst copying and learning how to be a dog.
Marceline has not been out since arriving in her foster home as she is not yet vaccinated. This will be discussed with potential home. She is not lead trained and this will be a slow process for her to learn over time in her forever home.
Marceline is looking for a patient home that’s happy to let her progress slowly in her own time, someone who will allow her to learn from the confident resident dogs in the house and follow their lead. She needs someone who is home most of the time and who can continue with her routines so she knows what’s coming next. A family that can teach her that hands are not for hurting anymore as she is now safe. She is a gorgeous playful cheeky little girl just bursting to come out and explore this wonderful life she has now found but it must also be understood that it won’t happen overnight so time patience and lots of love is a must to help this baby girl progress further

Lois is a lovable 5 years old schnauzer cross described by her foster mum as a complete sweetheart. She is still nervous of loud noises or sudden movement but her progress is so encouraging. One of her favourite things to do is to cuddle on the sofa in her favourite pink fluffy bed and enjoy her foster mum giving her chin tickles.
She has just started joining in with daily pack walks as the vet said it would be good for her to be around the other dogs and is enjoying her walks and goes a little further every day.
Lois has a grade 2 heart murmur that the vet says just needs to be monitored.

PAWRENTS HOME MOST OF THE TIME AND ENJOY GOING FOR WALKS
Tiger is a 12 year old terrier described by his foster mum as a spritely little boy that loves to play so don’t be fooled by his age. He’s an active little boy that loves to run round the garden and spend as much time as possible sniffing, exploring and playing.
Tiger has no known health issues his health check was fantastic for his age and his teeth are beautiful
Tiger loves people and greets everyone he meets with a waggy tail.
Tiger is happy to play with his toys all by himself in his bed or on a blanket on the floor. He has hours of fun just chewing his toys and rolling on his back with a ball in his mouth it’s definitely his favourite past time. He doesn’t however like to share his toys and prefers to play with them all by himself. He will grumble under his breath to tell you if you try to take one. He does however like you to throw a ball for him and will chase it over and over.
He’s a good boy that loves attention and he likes to sleep on his foster mums’ bed all night without a sound. He would be better rehomed with older children that will understand to give him space and not want to share his toys
He enjoys running around in the garden exploring, going on lovely walks and then snuggling down on his foster mums’ bed at night.
Tiger loves being out exploring on walks and would benefit from an active home to keep his energy levels in check although he’s 12 he likes to keep busy.
Tiger would love a home with someone there most of the time, someone who enjoys a lovely walk everyday exploring, A home where he has lots of toys to keep him happy and human to snuggle on the bed with. Jo Jo is a 10 year old shitzu described by his foster mum as a lovely friendly character who likes to be with you all the time following you around house and garden. When you stop he likes to cuddle and fall asleep. He has the odd crazy 5 mins running after his squeaky toys but it doesn’t last too long.
He has clearly been adored and was the centre of someone’s world so finds it difficult if left on his own. He may be worried that he will be left again. He is getting more and more cuddly by the day asking to have his tummy rubbed and seeking attention.
Jo Jo has age related issues like dry eye and stiffness but is otherwise great.
Jo Jo is friendly with everyone and is happy to be touched and given affection.
Jo Jo just ignores the cats in his foster home.
He is house trained and will ask to go out to toilet. He sleeps in a basket on the bed and spends most of the day asleep on the sofa. He can climb the stairs but needs a little help. He also needs a hand to get up on the sofa.

SUPER ACTIVE AND HIGH ENERGY DOG EXPERIENCED HOME
Sherry Trifle is a 3 year old Bedlington cross Poodle described by her foster mum as super active, very loving and intelligent dog. She is extremely clever and will have you under her paw very quickly and will be running circles around you in no time. She definitely needs someone that has experience with high energy dogs that know how to set boundaries. She could turn her paw to any activity but we think she would give agility a right run for its money!
She is fully house trained and sleeps in a crate during the night. She likes to be around humans as much as possible and is never very far away from you. She can become anxious if left on her own although gradually this has improved.
She loves chasing balls but can get a little obsessed with it so this needs to be monitored for signs of over excitement.
Sherry needs to be the one who initiates attention and contact and will approach you rather than people approaching her and she certainly doesn’t like being approached with a hand to the top of her head. Although once she knows you, she will never turn down a chin rub and loves to snuggle up by your side. She needs to be homed with older dog savvy children who won’t be in her face.
Sherry doesn’t understand people’s personal space and would really flourish with an owner that will give firm boundaries paired with lots of brain stimulation (to keep her settled) and loads of love.
Not tested with cats and we wouldn’t recommend small furries
Sherry has a great recall and generally is great out and about. She absolutely loves to run; she never seems to run out of energy! So would need someone that likes to walk long distances, run or jog and be super active
Sherry needs an active home with older dog savvy children. Somewhere where she will get lots of stimulation. Someone who can challenge her energy and set boundaries

LOVING PAWRENTS THAT CAN HELP THEM SOCIALISE AND MEET FRIENDS
Winnie & Moo are mother and daughter and at 7 and 4 years old they are very bonded and need to be homed together. Their foster mum said that they are a very friendly pair who just love to be around people. They have always lived together and rely on each other very much. They both love attention and being stroked and you can soon hear Winnie snoring, whilst Moo makes little squeaking noises as she drifts off. Moo will eventually make her way to the floor as she likes the cool.
They are both very affectionate dogs who are always pleased to see any visitors to the house. If you are on the sofa they will both want to jump up beside you and will sit for hours as long as you are with them. Whilst they like to relax, they equally like to be out and about on walks. They walk perfectly on the lead and love the outdoors, sniffing the grass and exploring.
As they are family and bonded, they do tend to feed off each other when out on a walk and will bark and wind each other when they see passing dogs. Their new family will need to work with them on this and they do calm down once you have been firm with them. We would suggest they sometimes get walked on their own to find their own little characters rather than have each other to back up bad behaviour They have been very well behaved with the dogs at their foster home.
They are doing well with their toileting and as long as the door is open they will go outside on the grass otherwise they will need to be taken out regularly till they get into a routine. They love their food and never leave any. Moo will get particularly excited at feeding time, dancing around the kitchen.
Winnie & Moo adore being around people. They will approach adults confidently with a wagging tail and love to be made a fuss of. They have been great around the children they have met (ages 4, 11 and 15). They have been gentle and pleased to see them. They will happily sit on sofa whilst being made a fuss of.
Not tested with cats but probably not.
They are great in the home and are happy to sit on the sofa for as long as they are allowed. They both like to sleep on the bed at night as this is what they have always been used to previously. They will sleep all night once they have been let out for their last toilet in the evening.
Winnie and Moo have been left for short periods of time and have been fine. There is always excitement at walk time and Winnie and Moo will walk for as long as you want them to.
Winnie & Moo would be best suited to a home where they are the only dogs with older dog savvy children. A family who will take them on some good walks and work on their manners in greeting other dogs. A family who will set boundaries for their behaviour whilst showering them with love and praise when they do well

COULD BE AN ONLY DOG IN THE RIGHT HOME OR COULD LIVE WITH A CALM NON DOMINANT DOG

EXPERIENCED AND PATIENT HOME
ELFIN IS A SPECIAL LITTLE MAN AND NEEDS SPECIAL PAWRENTS AS DETILED IN HIS WRITE UP.
FULL SUPPORT OF OUR BEHAVIOURIST WILL BE GIVEN AT EVER STEP OF THE WAY FOR THE RIGHT FAMILY
Poor Elfin is only a baby at one and a half years old is the product of everything that is wrong in todays “I want it now” society”. Bought from abroad by well meaning people who probably didn’t know that he had been snatched from his mum at a young age. Transported for many many hours into what should have been loving pawrents hands. Unfortunately for Elfin these pawrents must have thought that the old ways that some people trained dogs was the way to go. So, when poor Elfin had a potty accident in the house someone must have told them that the way to stop him was to rub his face in it and when he did something they didn’t like then he was handled roughly which has now made him hand shy. Of course, as most of us know this is not the way to train a fur baby and has only made Elfin a very scared and unsure man.
Since being in a loving and experienced foster home Elfin has learnt that not all people are bad and if he tries to open his heart to trust he will never be let down again. He has come on in leaps and bounds by providing him with a routine that makes him feel safe. He is fearful of making mistakes and will hold his wee’s and poop’s for as long as he can… this could be a day or two. He is getting there though and is 90% on his way
Elfin in the home is very quiet and does his best to try and go unnoticed and is not vocal or destructive. He will need slow introductions to new people and situations in a calm and positive manner. It will be a slow process and will need to be done in small steps in his own time. It is for him to decide when he wants to meet people not the other way around. Guidance and help will be given to the adopter over this.
The big wide world is a scary place for or little Elfin and he will need to feel secure and balanced inside the home before even attempting to take him on walks. Walking in the big wide world a big step for him and we need to make sure that when he is ready that it will be a positive experience for him.
Elfin now needs someone who will put him first and help him to trust and love as he so desperately wants to. He has been let down before and we will all be there to support him so he is never let down again. He needs pawrents to love him and be respectful of his current outlook on life. He needs someone (with guidance from us) who is committed to helping this little man learn to trust. This is a long process, we do not want him bouncing through well-meaning homes, as this will add to his insecurities.
Elfin needs a quiet home with no children to give him time and space to decompress. The person or family taking him on will not regret helping this little man come out of his shell, it is highly rewarding to know that you have loved and nurtured a dog back to a balanced energy. All of this will take time, he is already on his way to recovery but a loving hand and heart is very much needed. His family need to understand that this is to be on his terms and he will not want to be smothered. He will most certainly want time alone too and this will need to be respected. His new pawrents will have the most wonderful bond with this little man when things are done correctly and slowly on his terms. He is desperately looking to trust his human and calm leadership is what he is looking for. He could live with another calm non dominant dog.

CAT SAVVY CHILDREN
PAWRENTS WHO WILL LOVE AND ADORE HIM
Jackie is a cat that came to us as a stray. It clear that he has previously been a house cat as he is very clean. His foster mum has bestowed many pet names on him as he is such a character. His current pet name is Big Boy as since he came to us he has gained weight and really filled out. Vets estimate him to be around 5 or 6 years old and he has no known health issues
Jackie loves his food especially if there are some dreamies around. He likes a good chat whilst u have a cup of teas and will tell you all about his day which mostly consists of eating and sleeping. He is currently being kept inside as per our policy but after a period of adjustment he would like to go outside to explore and claim his kingdom.
He loves people and will always come for a fuss if you around but doesn’t like being picked up. This is getting better he’s just re adjusting to being loved and being treated with love. Once he gets to know you, he will come and sit on your lap for a while for fuss.
Jackie has not been dog tested and will needs to be an only cat as his time on the streets fending for himself has made him nervous of other cats. Its unknown how Jackie would be with children so we would recommend older cat savvy children.
Jackie just needs pawrents who will love and adore him and give him time to settle in a new home.

Mickey & Minnie are 8 week old Poodle cross Cavaliers
They have little individual personalities and love everyone and are very social. They love to play, and definitely love to cuddle.
House training, manners and basic commands are all a work in progress but in the right homes these babies will flourish. They have had a lot of human interaction and socialisation as they were born in rescue. They will need patient and loving pawrents who can offer positive encouragement to be well rounded little puppies and rescue ambassadors.
All can be homed with dog savvy children.
We are going to be inundated with applications so you are going to have to bear with us. Doti is an 8 year old princess described by her foster mum as an absolute sweet heart. She is a gentle soul who loves nothing more than being given a good head scratch. She will seek out company and attention, but is also a really easy going character who will happily snooze a few hours away on a bed, chair or rug. She’s a quiet cat but will let you know when she’s hungry. This impressive girl has adapted remarkably well to her new tri paw life. She is a good, clean cat who uses a litter tray and scratching post. Doti would make a very loving, loveable pet.
Doti is not needy, but would like people around part of the day for a chat and head scratch. She has been fine in foster with an 11 & 13y old and was apparently fine with younger cat savvy children
Doti needs to be an only cat as she feels she has to defend herself now she has lost a paw and can be edgy around other cats. She is clean in the house and not destructive at all. She has shown no interest in going outside which is good as she needs to be an indoor cat for her safety.
Not dog tested
Doti needs a home that is not too noisy or hectic with a family who will treat her as a princess.

Eira is a 3 year old tiny cocker spaniel who although very nervous is starting to show signs of being a fun loving, playful dog. She arrived in foster with another dog and initially took great comfort from following her around and copying her but has now found her paws and is being a brave girl. She will now slowly approach for a fuss providing another dog is close or already having attention and now loves a tickle under the chin. Eira is a little nervous of sudden movements but once she comes to you she likes a fuss and will come back for more.
She loves her food and is often seen doing zoomies around the garden of her foster home with the other dogs
Eira would like a home with no small children and older dog savvy children who are not too boisterous or noisy.
She is not cat or small furry tested
Eira is a quiet but nervous girl. She spends most of the day sleeping but has started to show signs of wanting to run about and play. She likes a rope or chew toy as well as having the odd mad 5 minutes running around playing with the other dogs in her foster home. She is fully toilet trained and loves her food.
Eira isn’t fully vaccinated so hasn’t done much lead walking but she will walk if there is another dog with her to show her what to do. She is wary of walking through doorways when on a lead.
Eira would like a quiet home with at least one kind resident dog. Patient owners who are going to give her space to build her confidence and to feel safe. She is fine to be left for a few hours and would be ok with visiting children as long as they were respectful of her.

Glitter is a 4 year old Cavalier King Charles described by her foster mum as a friendly little girl who loves attention and is eager to greet you with a waggy tail and wiggly bottom. She had previously been living in a garage and it is a joy to see that she is now loving all the home comforts of indoor life.
Glitter enjoys fuss and attention from her humans. She is a sweet natured friendly girl and will approach you to say hello and loves an ear scratch and tickle. She is anxious to please and already responds to basic commands.
Glitter has not had the opportunity to interact with children. We think she would be fine with older dog savvy children. She is in foster with three cats and has been fine. She ignores the cats when they are in the room with her and has learnt to give the aggressive cat a wide berth.
Understandably house training is a work in progress but Glitter is learning to go outside to toilet and will use a puppy pad in the house. She enjoys sitting on the sofa at the side of her foster Mum and is fascinated by any animal programmes. She sleeps in a large crate with the other dog and they don’t make a sound until foster Mum gets up. She has been left for a few hours when foster Mum goes out with the other dogs in the kitchen and is fine as long as she has a comfy bed and the radio on.
Glitter is not fully vaccinated so has not had the opportunity to go on walks yet. She has however been on a lead and although a little hesitant you can see she will be fine with practice.
Glitter would benefit from a home where people are around most of the day to shower her with the love and affection she needs. She could be an only dog providing people are willing to make her the focus of their attention. She could also be rehomed with a calm tolerant dog who wouldn’t mind sharing the love with her. She really is a lovely dog who will make a wonderful addition to the right family.

Hutch is a delightful 10 week old French Bulldog described by his foster family as a loving pup who loves nothing more than a cuddle. He demands attention and dislikes being left alone for any length of time. As soon as you sit on the settee, he is pining for you to pick him up and cuddle him. When his foster family leaves the room he will follow them. He enjoys human interaction and needs constant attention. He is great with other dogs and has a soft spot for the resident one year old cat.
Hutch shares a crate at night with his foster fur babies and will sleep all night with company. However, if he is on his own, he will initially whine and pine for a while and needs reassurance but does eventually settle. The crate is currently in the bedroom with his foster as he is sleeping on his own. If with a fur family member, the cage is downstairs.
Hutch enjoys playing with his toys and enjoys chasing a small ball around and will sometimes bring the ball back. He enjoys the tunnel which initially was the cats, but he seems to have claimed it for himself. Hutch has ventured into the garden under constant supervision and appears to enjoy. Again, be mindful of anything he could put in his mouth or eat.
Hutch eats well and quickly. He is currently fed 4 small meals a day as advised by the vets and can be discussed as he grows.
He loves being with different people as long as they give him lots of attention and there are no issues with visitors. He has been great with teenage children but hasn’t been around young children.
Hutch is great around the resident 1 year old dog savvy cat.
A stair gate is recommended as he is looking for a future as a mountain climber and is currently wanting to practice on the stairs. A secure garden is a must so he can run around and burn off some energy but be safe. As with all puppies toilet training is a work in progress and will need to continue in his forever home. Hutch is also feeling his way around with his mouth so new potential owners will need to be mindful of anything left on the floor, as like all pups he will put anything in his mouth.
Hutch needs a patient, loving family who will teach him boundaries and basic commands to help him become a well-rounded little fur baby. He needs a secure garden to play and explore safely. He needs a family who are going to invest time.

ACTIVE FAMILY TO WORK ON HIS TRAINING AND TAKE HIM ON ADVENTURES
Noel is a 9 month old JR x Yorkie described by his foster mum as a great lap dog with the energy of a puppy. So he’s a Duracell bunny who likes to cuddle up and fall asleep with. Currently his favourite thing after being a little pocket rocket is to lay by the fire for hours. He loves big walks and adventures but is also happy with a few short walks.
Noel previously lived with cats and Guinea pigs and is currently in foster with 17 other dogs so he is well socialised. He loves all people and just wants to be all over you with excitement. He is learning to calm down and listen but this training needs to continue in his forever home
He has previously lived with young children but was nervous of their sudden movements and grabbing so we would recommend dog savvy children 10 and over.
Noel crate trained and 90% house trained. He’s is not destructive at all.
He has a lovely energy of just sheer curiosity when he’s out and about. Everything is new and he is loving discovering them. He’s is a pleasure to be with. He was great at the vets and has been happy to be groomed
Noel is looking for an active home so he can get good walks regularly with someone who has time to put into his training as he’s only a puppy. A young and active home would be great. Someone whose life means he isn’t left too long on his own. He’s young and intelligent and will thrive with some time dedicated to him

NEEDS ANOTHER PLAYFUL, YOUNG DOG FOR COMPANY
OLDER DOG SAVVY CHILDREN
NOT CAT TRAINED BUT IS YOUNG
ACTIVE FAMILY WHO WILL SHOW HER THE WORLD FROM THE TOP OF A MOUNTAIN
Blitzen is an 18 month old Jack Russell described by her foster mum as full of playful energy. She is an absolutely gorgeous little girl, with nothing but love to give. She loves to run around and burn off energy but also loves to snuggle up and have a cuddle. She doesn’t mind if it’s with another dog or her human. She is very sweet natured.
Blitzen is so good she even loves the vet. She is friendly to everyone and loves attention. A scratch behind the ear is her favourite thing. Shes good to groom and bath even good have her claws and ears done.
She has not met children but think dog savvy children would probably be her perfect match someone that will play with her a lot and then sit down and read her a nice bedtime story. Giving her lots of attention and helping her burn off all that puppy energy.
She has not met any cats but as she is young if owners had a dog savvy cat an owners with patience and know-how then this would be achievable
She is 90% housetrained, sleeps perfectly through the night with the other dogs and is not destructive or vocal. She’s a pleasure to have in the home. She will definitely find her favourite spot on the sofa and it will be next to you.
Walking on a lead is definitely a new thing to her and the outside world is all for her to discover. So far she’s taking it all in her stride with the curiosity of a puppy with a little shyness as she is coming late to being socialised.
Blitzen is looking for a young home with people with lots of energy who want to give her long walks. She would prefer to be homed with another dog as we don’t think she has lived alone before. She would like her fur brother or sister to be a younger dog that wants to engage in play and show her the world. She shows no sign of separation anxiety so can be left for a few hours while her parents do her bidding as long as she is with her fur sibling.

CAN LIVE WITH OR WITHOUT ANOTHER DOG
WOULDN’T RECOMMEND CATS
DOG SAVVY CHILDREN
A GREAT ALL-ROUNDER JUST NEEDS LOTS OF LOVE AND ATTENTION
Ben is an 11 year old Jack Russell cross described by his foster mum as a real character and a typical cheeky terrier that talks back to you with grumbles and small barks. He loves a ball and has the energy of a puppy chasing the ball around the house dribbling it with his nose, he will give up his toy when asked and if you throw it for him he will retrieve it again and again. Ben sits for a treat and has very good manners he never snatches anything out of your hand.
Ben had lots of teeth taken out when he came into foster apart from this he is as fit as a butcher’s dog. He was previously cared for very well and only came to us as his previous owner who loved him dearly had passed away. They used to go walking a couple of times a day and often ended up at the pub where they would have food. He was an elderly gentleman who was home all day and lived alone with Ben, so Ben is used to lots of attention and is used to lots of exercise.
Ben was very confused when he arrived into foster. He was still grieving the loss of his dad and being in a busier house was all new to him. He took a while to settle and he may be unsettled again in his forever home so a secure garden is a must and owners need to keep a close eye on him with lots of love and attention.
Ben is a confident little dog who obviously loves life and has lots of energy for play but settles down quietly when his humans settle for the evening and loves to have a cwtch
Despite having lots of teeth out he eats well and needs to gain a little weight
He loves people but if there are male and female in the house he radiates towards the males. He has been fine with all children as long as they are dog savvy
He has not been cat or small furry tested and is a typical terrier. Ben is fully house trained except for a little accident after he was neutered
We have been informed that Ben walks well on a lead and is friendly to all he meets
Ben would be happy with or without another dog, he would make an excellent companion dog for an older active person I think he would also be fine for a family with children. He just loves people who will play with him and give him lots of cuddles!

Brian is a 4 year old domestic shorthair crossed with Siamese described by his foster mum as a leggy long chap. He has slightly outward rotating front feet which the vet is not concerned about. He has what the vet described as ‘an allergic reaction’ on his nose but doesn’t need anything for it. It just makes him special.
Brian and his ‘friend’ Betty were rescued after the previous owners were evicted. He is the tallest, longest and loudest purrer we’ve known. He loves people and craves attention and will sleep for hours cuddled into you. He is a forward cwtcher and will literally wrap his paws around you.
Brian is a person loving chap who can be quite vocal at mealtimes when he is first in the queue. He is very very loving and seeks cuddles and stroking. Brian will be homed with his friend Betty. They were rescued together and whilst not bonded, know one another well. Brian is the more loving of the two and helps Betty remember her manners when she gets a little grumpy
Betty is a 3 year old domestic short hair rescued with Brian when her previous owners were evicted. She was malnourished but has been spoilt rotten and is now a good weight. She is an independent spirit and can prefer her own company actively seeking her own space away from the other cats. She doesn’t enjoy being handled but loves a warm windowsill with a view
Brian and Betty have not yet had the pleasure of meeting children but due to Betty being a grumpy puss we would recommend older cat savvy children who knows to leave grumpy pants alone and cuddle with Brian. They are currently in fostered with 9 other cats and Brian is very sociable and will play considerately with an eight-month-old kitten whilst offering the 21-year-old matriarch her space. Betty however will frequently lash out at them and particularly those younger or less confident luckily Brian is used to her grumpy ways and will often put Betty in her place. There are however times when Betty will swipe out at Brian but like any family they get along in the end. They are just different characters
They also share the foster home with a cat savvy Border Collie. If the dog comes too close Brian will offer a warning hiss but has not shown any aggression. Betty will just stay away from her
Betty and Brian would suit a home with no young children or other resident cats.
Brian will need a dental in the future which will be paid for by us.

NEEDS A RESIDENT CALM BUT PLAYFUL DOG OR DOGS
NOT CAT TESTED
OLDER DOG SAVVY CHILDREN
LOVING AND PATIENT OWNERS WHO WILL HELP HIM BECOME THE DOG HE WAS ALWAYS MEANT TO BE
Kris is a 5 year old ex breeding male Poodle who’s had a terrible start in life but is now beginning to be the most amazing little boy he should have always been. He’s loving his new life and all the kindness and love that comes with it. He has a little way to go but will make the right person a loving, loyal and fun companion. He is great with other dogs and is getting more confident around people. Kris is a handsome boy with a very kind nature.
Vet history will be discussed with potential adopters
Kris has improved massively around people but still has a way to go before he will be completely comfortable around strangers. Once he has built a trust with his people, he will repay you with the most loving kisses and close company you could ever wish for. He will follow you wherever you go, giving a gentle nudge behind your legs to let you know he’s there and make sure you don’t forget about him. He will sit next to you on the sofa and slowly but surely nuzzle his way closer until he is tucked up safely. He discovered “sloppy kisses” a few weeks ago and now takes every opportunity to improve his skill and technique!
Kris remains nervous around younger children and will take himself away to his safe place. He dislikes the noise and uncertainty that they can bring. He is wonderful with older, dog savvy children who will allow him to take it at his own pace to build up his trust and approach them.
Kris has not been cat or small furry animal tested.
At home Kris is happy and content to spend the day close to his person. Kris enjoys his food and yours if you don’t keep a very close eye on him taking every opportunity to “help himself” to your plate if you leave it unattended. Although this is amusing it could be very dangerous depending on the foods he’s taking. Kris is working on his basic training and responds really well to simple basic commands. Training must be gentle and rewarding so as not to knock his confidence. Training will need to continue in his forever home but a pace where he is happy.
Toilet training is still a work in progress and he is doing really well. Training will need to be ongoing and expect some setbacks while he adjusts to his new surroundings.
Kris sleeps with is foster mum in a bed or on her bed wherever he is happiest.
Throughout the day Kris will be wherever his people are. If you’re on the sofa he will be too, if you’re in the kitchen he will lay and watch your every move. Don’t expect any privacy when you’re in the bathroom either. He will be your shadow. He can be left for short periods if he has the company of other dogs.
Kris enjoys his food and will eat alongside his foster brothers at mealtimes. He is developing his sense of fun and will collect random items around the home and take them to a chosen place, now known as base camp and will chew them so observations are key!
Kris hasn’t been out and about much due to his vaccination status but is now able to commence his lead training. He is nervous of being outside on a lead but has started to relax a little and has started to investigate following the lead of his foster brothers. In a safe and secure environment Kris enjoyed an off-lead adventure and his pure delight and happiness at his new life was clear to see in his playful bounding.
Kris needs a home where he can continue his journey at his own pace. He will need the most patient and loving people around him to reassure him and show him that he is safe and that he will not be hurt anymore. He may be slow to adjust to his new home but once he has, the rewards will be endless. He needs gentle, loving pawrents who are willing to help him be the beautiful little boy he is meant to be. His new Pawrents will need to be at home most of the day. He needs a home with older, dog savvy children who will allow Kris to develop his bond and trust and understand his fears and anxiety. A home with one or more calm, friendly small/medium sized dog/s that Kris can learn from and follow their lead. Given all these things, Kris will provide you with hours of entertainment and so much love in return.

NEEDS A KIND, PLAYFUL RESIDENT DOG
GOOD WITH DOG SAVVY CATS
OLDER DOG SAVVY CHILDREN
LOVING FAMILY WHERE SOMEONE IS HOME MOST OF THE TIME.
Joy is a 2 year old American Cocker cross described by her foster family as Joy by name and joyous by nature. She is a beautiful puppy-like girl full of floppy pawed playfulness. Her cheekiness is growing daily and she has the most loving nature. Joy is still a nervous little girl with strangers and likes to be approached quietly and slowly. She is not used to being loved so is nervous of being picked up. Once she has got to know you her loving personality shines out. It’s wonderful to see her beginning to explore her new world and to run around the garden with a big soppy smile on her face. To see her get excited over the simplest of things like a carrot after breakfast and to see her happily lying on her back waving those gorgeous big paws for more fuss. She runs up to greet her foster mum, tail wagging and jumping up for kisses!
Joy will need time to settle and trust in her forever home, but day by day she will show more and more of the love she has to give. This precious little one has a truly wonderful personality, and at around two years old, is now enjoying the typical puppy-like inquisitiveness and playful nature once denied to her and she can now look forward to a life filled with love.
Joy hasn’t met any children yet. Foster mum feels that young children would prove stressful as Joy dislikes fast movements around and towards her. Older, quieter children who would understand her needs would be fine. She can initially be nervous around men but given time and space she will come around.
Joy is completely at ease with her foster family’s adult cat and will happily sleep right next to him. Not small furry tested.
Joy is almost completely housetrained. She is taken outside regularly throughout the day with the resident dogs, and let’s foster mum know if she still needs to toilet by refusing to come in. She sleeps through the night in her bed in her foster family’s bedroom but can often be found asleep next to them on the bed in the morning!
Joy travels very well in the car and is happy to jump up onto the seat. She is happy to wear a harness with over the headrest seat belt, and will snuggle down on her blanket and go to sleep during the journey. She is now perfectly comfortable wearing a collar and lead and harness, and enjoys walking around the garden wearing them. She will jump at unexpected loud noises, but is easily reassured. She hasn’t been walked in public places whilst in foster as not fully vaccinated, but was relaxed with foster mum when carried around a garden centre, and sitting on her lap in the outside cafe.
Joy will thrive in a home with someone home most of the day and where there is already a playful and kind dog. She would enjoy an active environment to stimulate her physically and mentally, and a safe, enclosed garden to explore and be free to play in. She would also love to be with someone happy to give her the cuddles and affection she adores. Joy would also benefit from living with someone experienced in positive dog training, to help her gently continue her development.
