Camilla is a 7-year old Scottish Terrier, who is being fostered in Berkshire. At times Camilla comes across as being a very serious dog, but she is very playful, loves her soft toys and often plays zoomies around the house.

People – Camilla is shy with strangers but loves you when she gets to know you. Again, very shy at first but doesn’t seem to be any more fazed by little people than big people. Loves a scratch behind her ears and is happy with you stroking her on her head and body.

Dogs – Camilla enjoys being with other dogs and will need a companion in her new home.

Cats – Not cat tested

In the home – Camilla has been left for up to 4 hours. She is not destructive in the home although she is still frightened of the vacuum cleaner. She’s been known to bark at the telly when a wildlife program comes on but her favourite is watching Paul O’Grady For the Love of Dogs. When she’s not cuddling up with her foster collie companion, she loves nothing better than to snuggle on your lap.

Out and about – Camilla is unsure of the outside world still and so lead training is ongoing. This gentle socialisation and training will have to be kept up in her new home.

Type of home – Camilla needs to be with a confident resident dog and would suit an active retired person or a family with older children. She needs someone who is prepared work on her training and socialisation as well as get her used to being a loved family companion.

Please remember, if you have a dog and it is not neutered, it is against our policies to re-home a dog with you.

Camilla is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up to date with her flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet her in her foster home in Berkshire
