Braith or Bea as foster mum likes to call her is a 2 year old English Setter described by her foster mum as a lovely affectionate gentle dog, who adores lots of belly rubs and attention.
She is crate trained and sleeps in it at night and when left during the day. She is happy to be left with or without other dogs and is no problem.
She is fully house trained.
She loves people, is happy to greet any visitors no matter how big or small. She paws you for attention then rolls around for her tummy to be rubbed. She is not shy or reserved.
She is excellent with children of all ages.
Not cat tested but has shown no interest in them whilst out on a walk, she has ignored our Guinea pigs and the chickens.
She is not destructive and is generally calm around the house she likes to follow you around for as much fuss as possible. She is happy with household noises and is not bothered by any noises like a hoover, door knocking etc.
Bea loves her walks, gets excited when the lead comes out but will sit patiently to have it put on. She now walks beautifully on a lead and doesn’t pull and is very keen to meet other dogs to play. She is a very intelligent dog, very quick to learn and very keen to please. She is learning her basic commands, sit, wait and come. She’s not been let off her lead but on a training lead, she does come back to a whistle or the word come.
Bea needs someone who will give her lots of cuddles and attention, she can be with another playful dog but could also be an only dog. She will make someone a lovely family pet. She has settled in well in her foster home and has been a pleasure to have.
