Blanche is a 5-year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who is being fostered in Gwent. She has a wagging tail whenever she sees you.

People – Blanche is very people focused and will let you touch her anywhere although she does cower down a little when you bend from standing to stroke her.

Dogs –  Blanche is just a little scared when she sees large noisy dogs but with reassurance is fine and soon settles around them.

Cats – Not tested with cats

In the home – She has only been left for short periods with three dogs and seems fine when her foster mum returns. Her housetraining is a work in progress. She is not destructive at all and has yet to play with toys. She loves cuddles and watching TV although she does bark when there are animals on the screen. Blanche gets excited when her foster mum makes a cup of tea and she prefers being on your lap than anywhere else. Blanche has the loudest snore!

Out and about – Blanche stops and starts when walking and needs encouragement to move on but once moving is very eager to have a little run. She needs a bit more work on recall but we think it’s just her getting use to her name.

Type of home – We think any loving home would be suitable however she does love to be cuddled so someone who is home for a lot of the day and has plenty of time to give her the love and attention she craves would be perfect.  Blanche will only be rehomed where there is another dog for company.

Please remember, if you have a dog and it is not neutered, it is against our policies to re-home a dog with you.

Blanche is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up to date with her flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet her in her foster home in Gwent, South Wales
