If you’re looking for a tiny shadow who wants nothing more than to love and be loved, then Biscuit could be your perfect match. 💕

This gorgeous little Dachshund has stolen the hearts of everyone she’s met. She’s incredibly affectionate and loves nothing more than curling up on your lap or being cuddled. Thanks to lots of positive socialisation in foster, she’s happy meeting new people, especially when she knows her trusted person is nearby.

At home, Biscuit is a confident, happy little girl. She adores the children in her foster home and greets visitors with a wagging tail and plenty of affection. Due to her tiny size and because sudden movements and loud noises can make her nervous, we’re looking for a home with sensible older children.

She absolutely loves other dogs and enjoys playing chase and bitey-face with her foster siblings. She’s happy meeting dogs out on walks too. (She hasn’t been cat tested.)

Biscuit enjoys little adventures and walks beautifully on her lead, although she does have little Dachshund legs and isn’t built for long hikes! She’s also quite happy to be scooped up for a cuddle when she’s had enough exploring.

When bedtime comes, Biscuit is the perfect snuggle buddy. She currently sleeps soundly through the night in bed with her foster family and their dogs, using her dog steps independently to climb up and down. If she needs the toilet overnight, she’ll quietly use her puppy pad before hopping straight back into bed for more cuddles.

She’s doing brilliantly with her toilet training, using puppy pads or the garden most of the time, with only the occasional puppy accident.

Like many puppies, Biscuit absolutely adores her food! She can eat very quickly and does show some resource guarding around meals, so this will need sensible management in her new home. A slow feeder bowl would be ideal to help her take her time.

Biscuit’s biggest requirement is simply being with her people. She forms very strong bonds and finds being left alone difficult, becoming upset if separated from her trusted human. Because of this, she is looking for a home where someone is around for most of the day—perhaps someone retired or working from home—who would love a constant little companion.

She isn’t looking for a life in a crate or shut away from the family. Biscuit wants to be where you are, whether that’s curled up on your lap while you work, snoozing beside you on the sofa, or snuggled up in bed at night. Biscuit can be an only dog or live with other dogs.

If you’re ready to welcome a tiny, loving, loyal little princess into your life, Biscuit is waiting to meet you. ❤️
