Name: Judy

Age: 5-years old

Breed: Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

Can I live with Children: Over 10s

Can I live with cats: No

Can I live with other dogs: Yes, a must

Fostered In: Worcestershire

Judy is a 5-year old ex-breeding Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, who is being fostered in Worcestershire. She will need to live with a kind resident dog for company but just loves people, which is unusual for ex-breeders. Judy is a wonderful lapdog and can’t get enough of cuddles.

People – Judy loves people and cuddles. She hasn’t met any younger children but we think children over 10 would be ok for her to live with.

Dogs –   Judy is very sociable and will approach other dogs when out on a walk. As an ex-breeding girl she will only be rehomed where there is another dog for company.

Cats – Judy barks at the cats she has met so we feel it is better that her new home doesn’t have any.

In the home –  Judy’s toilet training is almost there but her adopters will need to be prepared for accidents until she gets used to her new routine She has not been crated and has been left for a couple of hours so far without a problem. Judy is a typical lapdog and can’t get enough cuddles. She will bark at her own reflection and dogs on the television. Word of warning: this gal can snore!! You may need to invest in some earplugs of an evening.

Out and about – Judy walks well on the lead and enjoys being out and about. She sits and waits for her lead to be put on. She does enjoy running in the grass and will chase birds and do zoomies. She travels well in the car and has been alright at the vets – albeit a little cautious.

Type of home – Judy is looking for a home where her humans are around for most of the day and will not be suited to full time workers. She loves to be with people and enjoys cuddles. She has basic training – sit, stay and recall, although is a little daunted by doggy toys that she has come across.

Judy is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up to date with her flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet her in her foster home in Worcestershire.
