Rocky is a 4-month old crossbreed puppy who is being fostered in RCT, South Wales. He is a wonderful, well rounded little bundle of mischief and fun. As with all young puppies, he has a battery life of around 30 minutes and needs a good hour to re-charge. When not sleeping he plays, eats and gets in to mischief. You will need to make sure you home is puppy proof and you love puppy kisses!

People –  Rocky loves all humans. He does not live with young children at present.  Rocky accepts all visitors without hesitation and is happy to play with and be cuddled by everyone.

Dogs –  Rocky currently lives in a foster home full of dogs young and old and he interacts well with them all

Cats – Rocky has not been cat tested

In the home – Rocky doesn’t like being left on his own for long periods and needs another dog for company. As a young puppy, Rocky is not housetrained although he is starting to stick to a pattern. He does not distinguish between soft toys and electric cables so your home will need to be puppy proof. He sleeps in him own space and settles well at night.

Out and about – Rocky is still too young to have ventured outdoors except for the garden which he loves.

Type of home –  Rocky would like a home with an active family who enjoy taking him for long walks to tire him out. He’d like lots of play times as well as one or more resident dogs to play with during the day and to cuddle up to at night. He can live with sensible children and would like his new owners to be around as much as possible

Please remember, if you have a dog and it is not neutered, it is against our policies to re-home a dog with you. We will not accept full time working homes for puppies. If you live in a flat we will be asking about your experience of puppy training in a flat.

Rocky is chipped, vaccinated and up to date with his flea and worming treatment.  He is too young to be neutered so it is a condition of adoption that his adopters arrange to have him neutered as soon as he is old enough. A discount voucher is available and follow up checks will be done. It is a condition of adoption that Rocky attends puppy socialisation classes and you will be asked about classes available in your area. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet him in him foster home in Rhondda, South Wales
