Reference No: D2020-086 & D2020-87

Name: Percy and Parker

Age: 10 years approx.

Breed: King Charles Cavalier Spaniel

Fostered in: South Wales

Health conditions: Both boys have little teeth but still manage to eat well. Percy has poor vision but manages well.

Percy and Parker are a bonded pair of KCCs, a black and white and a Black and Tan. They are lovely old gentlemen quickly learning how to live in a welcoming home. They have quite different personalities but are both a delight. They are learning to trust and love fusses and offer their tummies for tickles.

People: At first, they hid from everyone, but they are now happy to greet people if not rushed. Absolutely no aggression just a bit shy.

Can live with children: Older quieter children

Can live with cats: Not tested.

Can live with other dogs: Not tested but both lived with numerous dogs before arriving with us.

In the home: They are largely housetrained but occasionally don’t make it through the night. They sleep in the kitchen/hall and are happy either in separate beds or often sleep together. They love their food – twice a day, grain free soft food and until now grain free small kibble.
Parker likes toys and will collect anything including shoes, letters, blankets etc and take them to his bed. He does not destroy anything though. They are very gentle boys. They do not need a crate but lived in one before coming into rescue. Both travel well.

Out and about: They are only just beginning to walk on a lead but we haven’t been very far yet. They enjoy the garden.

Type of Home: Percy and Parker would enjoy a quieter home as they sleep quite a lot and enjoy occasional fuss.

Percy and Parker are neutered and have had first vaccination. The are up to date with flea and worming treatment but awaiting second vaccination.

Potential adopters would be expected to travel to South Wales to meet them.
