Pebbles is an 18-month old Pointer who is being fostered in Berkshire. He has a spirit for life even though he had a horrendous start with losing his back leg. He is friendly excited loves people and other dogs. He has no health issues. But being a tripawd he will need a new owner to consider this. He is undergoing hydrotherapy once a week and would benefit from this ongoing
People – He loves people of all ages and is initially a little overexcited but calms down quickly.
Dogs – He is totally in the company of other dogs but would live happily on his own too.
Cats – Possibly, with further training.
In the home – Pebbles is almost housetrained. He is crated at present while he recovers at the request of the vet. While he builds up his muscles they don’t want him running around too much. He’s great around the house. He is also a very good eater and is putting on much-needed weight.
Out and about – Walks are a bit bouncy but he is starting to get better on the lead, although he is currently only walked for around 15 minutes each day at mo. He travels well and is fantastic at the vets.
Type of home – He is a gorgeous dog and he has no special needs when finding a home as he is balanced all-round. He can live with or without another dog, can live with older children and with some training could live with cats. He would be happier with a flatter garden with no steps. Pebbles deserves to have his humans around for most of the day so would not be suitable for full time workers.
Pebbles is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up to date with his flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet him in his foster home in Berkshire.
