DUE TO THE MASSIVE RESPONSE NO FURTHER APPLICATIONS ARE BEING ACCEPTED

NB: Please remember, if you have a dog and it is not neutered, it is against our policies to re-home a dog with you. We will not accept full time working homes for puppies. If you do work part time the pups must have a resident dog for company please. We will be expecting the puppy to go to socialisation classes and we will be asking you about your plans at interview. If you live in a flat we will be asking about your experience of puppy training and how you will cope without a garden.

Name: Peaches

Age: 9 weeks

Breed: Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

Can I live with Children?: Yes but not toddlers

Can I live with cats?: Yes

Can I live with other dogs?: Yes

Fostered In: Rhondda, South Wales

We call Peaches the little explorer. She is a delightful little lady who loves to play fight with her siblings and won’t back down from larger dogs. As with all young puppies, she has a battery life of around 30 minutes and needs a good hour to re-charge. When not sleeping she plays, eats and gets in to mischief. You will need to make sure you home is puppy proof and you love puppy kisses!

People – Peaches loves all of her humans except little toddlers who frighten her. She does not live with young children at present. Peaches accepts all visitors without hesitation and is happy to play with and be cuddled by everyone.

Dogs –  Peaches currently lives in a foster home full of dogs young and old and she interacts well with them all.

Cats – Peaches will be fine to live with cats

In the home – As a young puppy, Peaches is not housetrained although she is starting to stick to a pattern. She does not distinguish between soft toys and electric cables so your home will need to be puppy proof. She sleeps in her own space with her brothers and sisters and settles well at night.

Out and about – Peaches is still too young to have ventured outdoors.

Type of home – Peaches would fit into a wide range of homes. As a pup she would need someone around most of the time to continue her training and socialising. She can live with sensible children but not too young as puppy teeth hurt if she nibbles you. She would like lots of chew toys and things to keep her active as she grows. Somewhere warm and cosy to recharge her battery is a must. She can live with another dog or dogs but she may be too bouncy for old dogs.

Peaches is not neutered as she is too young so it is a condition of adoption that she is neutered at 6 months of age. A discount voucher will be provided and follow up checks will be done. She may need a small hernia repaired at the same time. Peaches is chipped, vaccinated and up to date with her flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet her in her foster home in Rhondda, South Wales
