DUE TO THE MASSIVE RESPONSE NO FURTHER APPLICATIONS ARE BEING ACCEPTED

NB: Please remember, if you have a dog and it is not neutered, it is against our policies to re-home a dog with you. We will not accept full time working homes for puppies. If you do work part time the pups must have a resident dog for company please. We will be expecting the puppy to go to socialisation classes and we will be asking you about your plans at interview. If you live in a flat we will be asking about your experience of puppy training and how you will cope without a garden.

Name: Morello

Age: 9 weeks

Breed: Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

Can I live with Children?: Yes but not toddlers

Can I live with cats?: Yes

Can I live with other dogs?: Yes

Fostered In: Rhondda, South Wales

We call Morello the little Warrior. He is a delightful little chap who loves to play fight with his siblings and won’t back down from larger dogs. As with all young puppies, he has a battery life of around 30 minutes and needs a good hour to re-charge. When not sleeping he plays, eats and gets in to mischief. You will need to make sure you home is puppy proof and you love puppy kisses!

People – Morello loves all of his humans except little toddlers who frighten him. He does not live with young children at present. Morello accepts all visitors without hesitation and is happy to play with and be cuddled by everyone.

Dogs –  Morello currently lives in a foster home full of dogs young and old and he interacts well with them all.

Cats – Morello will be fine to live with cats

In the home – As a young puppy, Morello is not housetrained although he is starting to stick to a pattern. He does not distinguish between soft toys and electric cables so your home will need to be puppy proof. He sleeps in his own space with his brothers and sisters and settles well at night.

Out and about – Morello is still too young to have ventured outdoors.

Type of home – Morello would fit into a wide range of homes. As a pup he would need someone around most of the time to continue his training and socialising. He can live with sensible children but not too young as puppy teeth hurt if he nibbles you. He would like lots of chew toys and things to keep him active as he grows. Somewhere warm and cosy to recharge his battery is a must. He can live with another dog or dogs but he may be too bouncy for old dogs.

Morello is not neutered as he is too young so it is a condition of adoption that he is neutered at 6 months of age. A discount voucher will be provided and follow up checks will be done. He may need a small hernia repaired at the same time. Morello is chipped, vaccinated and up to date with his flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet him in his foster home in Rhondda, South Wales
