Marnie is a delightful West Highland Terrier who is five years old and being fostered in Hertfordshire. She has had a rotten start to her life. Despite this she is starting to come out of her shell. She is always happy to see you when you come home. Her tail is always wagging and she adores a lap to sit on.

People – After the initial meeting she is a happy loveable dog and happy to be fussed. She can sometimes be a bit mouthy so no young children please.

Dogs –  Marnie lives with 15 other dogs all terriers and has adapted well.

Cats – Not tested

In the home – Marnie can be left for short periods. She can be destructive with cushions and beds when bored. Marnie is not keen on any sudden loud noises or movement. She doesn’t like vacuum cleaner. Housetraining is a work in progress.

Out and about – Her foster mum is trying to lead train her starting with a small trail of string tied to her collar as her lead frightens her so this is a work in progress.

Type of home – Marnie needs  another dog as she is sociable with other dogs. Marnie prefers human company so no full-time workers. Marnie needs lots of patience and attention.

Please remember, if you have a dog and it is not neutered, it is against our policies to re-home a dog with you.

Marnie is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up to date with her flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet her in her foster home in Hertfordshire.
