Leon is a gorgeous black lop eared bunny, just over a year old.  He came into us in February having been kept indoors shut in a guinea pig cage and overweight as he’d only been fed nuggets.  At under a year old, he was advertised on a website as no longer wanted but luckily for Leon he was saved by some kind hearted people who were worried about him ending up in the wrong hands.

As well as never seeing a piece of hay, he had unsurprisingly not been neutered or vaccinated so the little fella was in for some FOAW tough love, with not only vet visits but the realization that healthy happy rabbits need to eat lots of hay!  But they also get spacious accommodation, lots of space to hop around and a friend to snuggle up to and have lots of fun with.

And so we introduced him to Layla… a beautiful slightly older lady bun (aged about 2½ years).  Although Layla came from a loving home, her owner couldn’t keep up with her care as she is a total fluff ball and needs regular grooming to keep all that fluff under control.  She also wasn’t the best hay eater in the world so had to have some dental work when she first came to us.  However, she’s now happily showing Leon how great hay is so hopefully won’t need any more dental work done.

Leon is a very friendly little lad, he loves a head rub and a fuss; Layla is shyer but is growing in confidence all the time.

As with all our rabbits ready and waiting for a forever home, Leon and Layla are neutered and vaccinated.

If you think you are able to give these two beautiful bonded buns the home they deserve, please fill in the adoption link below:
