Lassie is a beautiful 9-year old sable and white rough collie who is being fostered in South Wales. She loves attention and fuss. She loves her walks and activities but soon settles down to snooze away in the down time in between

People – Lassie loves people of all shapes and sizes as long as they give her the attention she craves. Young children can frighten her so older children only please

Dogs –   Lassie lives happily with an older dog at the moment and is good mixing with other dogs when off lead to play

Cats –  Lassie is fine with cats but has not been tested on other small furries

In the home – Lassie behaves well in the home. She is fully house trained and non destructive. She can be left for short periods.

Out and about –  Lassie walks well with a head harness. She will pull if meeting another dog on lead but she is doing well at training for this

Type of home – Lassie suffers from urinary incontinence (Propalin administered every 12 hours) Liver issues (Zentonil administered every 12 hours) so she needs her medication regularly. She would suit a home with someone who has older children or visiting children, someone who can spend time exercising her as she is very active and loves to go for walks. She would need someone who is going to put the effort into grooming her beautiful coat as she needs a good brush at least 3 times a week. She is an attention seeker so would be perfect to go to someone who would be able to give her the time and love she desperately seeks.

Lassie is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up to date with her flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet her in her foster home in Bridgend.
