Calling all adventurers can you offer our little pocket rocket Kookie his forever home. Kookie is a 3 year old super active terrier who loves to be busy. The only time our little man is quiet is when he is asleep or dozing in the garden in the sun recharging his batteries dreaming of his next adventure. Kookies ideal home would be with Bear Grylls or Ray Mears where he can climb mountains and explore to his hearts content with his forever family and furry brother or sister.
Kookie loves humans but is also happy with his own space. He will cuddle on the sofa with his family when his batteries are running low but it takes a lot for them to run low. He has received very little training in his former life but does listens intently and will be perfect for an owner who will invest love and time in training him. His toilet training is a work in progress but as he likes to be out exploring most of the time this hasn’t been a big issue. Kookie is well behaved on walks but will need some lead training.
Kookie loves the other dogs in his foster home, shows zero aggression and needs a forever home with another little adventure who can show him the best mountains, forests and beaches. He travels well in a car and is excited to get to his destination for his next big experience.
Kookie lives with teenagers and a dog savvy 11 year old in his foster home, there have been no issues and he is happy to interact with anyone who will fuss him. He also takes no notice of the three cats in his foster home, he can, therefore, live comfortably with cats.
After a big day adventuring Kookie prefers to sleep downstairs on his own, he settles with no distractions and a low light. He has shown no destructive tendencies and as yet no interest in toys but I’m sure this will change once he is in his forever home. Kookie is not food aggressive but prefers to eat off the floor or a plate, he doesn’t yet know the purpose of a bowl. Kookie can been left for a few hours with the other dogs in the home and has been fine.
