Cheeky chappie Hank is a 6 year old Chihuahua described by his foster mum as a super busy, super handsome boy. He is a busy little bee and can jump up on sofa and likes to walk around the back of the sofa to climb down into your lap for a fuss. He’s also a great help in the home and loves to wake the human teenagers up in the morning by climbing up into their beds.
He loves to follow his humans around when they are home to make sure he isn’t missing something and that anything you do is to his standards. He likes to lay next to his humans on the sofa just chilling and being adored. He is great with everyone who comes to the house and just asks for a fuss. He has been great with the teenagers in his foster home but he hasn’t been around young children. So, we would recommend a home with dog savvy children.
He has been left for short periods with no bother, and greets you with the waggiest tail when you come home. Squeaky toys are his favourite toy and when napping he loves to pull the blanket all the way over him to sleep so you can just see his little nose sticking out
Hank eats well, sometimes a little too well and his new pawrents will need to watch his weight. He will take treats gently from your hand and is a total gentleman.
He is almost housetrained as his foster mum takes him out regularly for toilet breaks. So this will need to be kept up in his forever home.
Not cat or small furry tested
Hank sleeps in his bed at the end of his foster mums bed but likes a snuggle on the bed first then goes down for the night to his own bed.
Hank is good on lead when he is out patrolling his kingdom. He can bark when strangers and other dogs pass but will settle shortly after being reassured.
Hank is a complete gentleman wrapped in a little body. He has been great with everyone he has met and just wants to be the centre of someone’s world. He likes to go for walks and one of his favourite things is going for a puppachino and sitting on his foster mums lap looking out for other laydeeeee dogs to admire. He can be an only dog or live with another dog of a similar size. He would like older children who can lavish him with attention but not treat him as a toy.
