ONLY DOG

ADULT ONLY HOME

OWNERS WHO ARE HOME MOST OF THE TIME AND WILLING TO PUT THE EFFORT IN

Frank is a very sensitive 3 year old bulldog that although on the outside may seem bouncy and full of confidence, on the inside he is a dog that longs to have his own people, stability and boundaries. He is a stunning, muscular and active bulldog who is definitely not a lazy boy and since coming into FOA he has had BOAS surgery which has benefitted his breathing and activity levels.

Frank once he gets to know you is a loveable flat face enjoys fuss and affection, but it takes him a little while to establish a bond so he needs a patient home to work with him to give him confidence and encouragement. He is a bulldog that hasn’t had a lot of training or socialisation in his previous home, so will be a great project dog for any home looking to put time and effort into a dog to ensure his forever home is perfect for him

Frank as a bracyaphalic breed has the usual exercise limitations, and any owners will need to have an awareness of flat face breed specifics but frank is a healthy, active bulldog.

Frank can be reserved to begin with but bonds quickly and establishes strong relationships with people in the home. He would be best suited as an adult only dog due to his energy levels and need for ongoing training. He is a very boisterous bulldog but can also be unsure and anxious in situations and previously children have created a stress trigger for him so Frank needs an adult only home as the only pet

Frank is a typical bulldog in the home, and can be boisterous when over excited but also happy lying in front of the tv at the end of the day. He is a dog that when bonded can get separation anxiety if left home alone. With time and patience and once he realises this is his forever home this will settle down. He is cage trained and will happily settle in a crate if needed. He is very playful and likes toys but will need monitoring as he can get over excited if allowed too many toys or is played with too much

Frank does have a tendency to stalk and chase cars on a lead if given the opportunity but this is being controlled and improving through training which will be provided to the new home.

Frank needs an adult only home with previous experience of bulldogs. He can get anxious in certain situations and will need patient and understanding owners to work with him to establish a routine and settle him into his new home. He would suit a home where someone was there the majority of the day with people that are willing to continue his training either with classes or using previous bulldog ownership experience.

Frank is an active dog that will need owners prepared to exercise him physically and mentally. He deserves a home of his own to gain confidence and lead an active happy bulldog life with owners that are committed to working on his training and developing a bond
