• Can also love with other dogs
• Older dog savvy children
• Quiet home

Fern is a lovely 1 year old Shih Tzu cross described by her foster mum as a special little girl. She is still a little nervous and backs away when new people come into the home, but her cheeky side is definitely starting to emerge. She has just started jumping into foster mums warm seat on the sofa or bed when mum goes to make a cup of tea.
She has just started to give little licks to her foster mum and is gaining in confidence and learning to trust on a daily basis. Foster mum has even had a few special cuddles.
She is now funny vaccinated and has been practicing in the garden ready for adventures in the big wide world
Foster mum will sit on the floor to encourage play time with the toys and she is slowly getting there.
Fern is house-trained but will have an accident now and then if not taken out regularly to the garden. She just needs to get into a routine and have nice treats when she has done well.
Fern travels well in a car.
Not cat or small furry tested.
She eats fine around other dogs, no resource guarding, and will take a treat from your hand when it suits her.
She can be homed with dog savvy children over the age of 7 who will give her space when she needs it.
Fern sleeps in foster mums bed and loves pinching her warm spot if she leaves it. She also wakes you up with lovely morning kisses as if to say what we doing today mum I’m so excited to feel safe and loved.
Fern can be an only dog with doggy friends she could also be homed with other dogs. She needs a quiet family home with dog savvy children. She would fit in anywhere as long as it’s not a noisy household. She just needs time and patience.
