Blue is a 7 month old Pug cross poodle boy that is very confident and just loves to be around people. He equally adores a lap cuddle and will let you play with him all day. He loves everyone he meets and is really bouncy and playful. He is a fun loving boy that has lots of energy that needs to be burned off. He loves to run around the garden chasing his foster siblings. He shows excitement when the other dogs go out for walks and feel he will really benefit from an active family that will give him plenty of walks and adventures.
Blue wants to be the centre of attention and will climb onto you for a cuddle or to bring you a toy when he wants your attention which is pretty much until he goes to bed. He sleeps all night in his crate with no issues. He also really enjoys loves being brushed.
Blue loves his foster family and has been great with the children he has met but we would recommend children 7 and over as he gets excited when he sees them and can be bouncy. He loves interaction and tends to take full advantage of play time and does love a game of tugging… which he usually wins!!. He can sometimes be reluctant to let go when told but will eventually.
Blue loves other dogs and loves to play with a strong dominant one year old cav in his foster home. Play is loud at times with lots of growls and barking however Blue is too confident for the 2 sensitive dogs in the home, so will need to be with a very confident dog that isn’t afraid to put him in his place when needed. Blue could also be an only dog in a home where there are people home with him most of the time. He is happy playing on his own with rope toys and soft toys but does look for a lot of human interaction.
We have a confident cat in the foster home and blue is totally fascinated by her and loves to take her his toys. He is very vocal around her so if there is a cat in the home it will need to be dog savvy.
Toilet training is a work in progress and he will need time to be shown the ropes and given time to learn that he has to go outside. He has no issues with food and will eat whatever he can and does love a nice new sandal!!
Blue hasn’t been left in the house on his own yet. He’s a young boy full of energy and interest so will need someone around a good part of the day to entertain and walk him.
Blue has only had a taster walk as he has not been fully vaccinated. He allowed foster mum to put a harness on him and willingly walked around the garden and cul-de-sac. There are no concerns and his foster mum is confident he will be great in time. He has a HUGE amount of energy so will love long walks and adventures
Blue is a real person loving pup, he follows to follow us all over the house and loves to bring us toys for us to play with him. He loves a cuddle on your lap and will happily sit and play with one of us all day. He does like a little power nap in between play then wakes fully charged.
He needs to go to a home where there is someone around most of the time as he’s not been left alone. An outdoors / adventurous family where he can be taken for long walks and then come home for cuddles and play. He’s a very bouncy pup that is learning boundaries and learning to share toys with his foster dogs. He is a dominant boy so if going to a home with a dog it would ideally be a young confident playful dog to match Bues personality. He really is the most loving little chap that will be a great addition to the right home.
