Reference No – D2020 099

Name: Billy

Age: 10 years approximately

Breed: Tibetan spaniel

Fostered in: South Wales

BILLY WILL NEED TO BE REHOMED WITH AT LEAST ONE RESIDENT DOG.

Health issues: Billy arrived in rescue with several untreated health conditions, his mouth was infected due his teeth being rotten, this left him unable to eat, in turn this resulted in Billy being painfully thin. He has poor mobility in his back legs and an enlarged prostrate. All these issues are currently being investigated by out vets and Billy will receive all the treatment he needs.

Billy is a friendly little boy who loves to come for a cuddle. He loves to Potter around the garden with the other dogs in his foster home.

People: Billy loves people and enjoys being stroked and cuddled.

Can live with children: Billy is looking for a quieter home so only older children would be considered.

Can live with cats: Not tested but Billy is very laid back and we doubt there would be an issue.

Can live with other dogs: Billy enjoys the company of other dogs, he will need at least one resident dog in his new home.

In the home: House training is a work in progress but improving. We are hoping this will get even better once he is neutered and has any treatment needed for his enlarged prostate.

Out and about: Billy was wary when he visited our vets, he has not been out on walks yet due to awaiting vaccinations.

Type of home: Billy needs a quiet, understanding home with at least one other calm dog for company. Billy is a sweet natured older gentleman who really deserves the best retirement home that will give him all the love and cuddles he so much deserves. Due to his current mobility issues he would not need long walks, but he would love a garden that he can explore during the day.

Billy has had first vaccination and is up to date with his flea and worming treatment. He is currently awaiting neutering and second vaccination.

Potential adopters would be expected to travel to South Wales to meet him.

Due to Covid19 lock down restrictions, we are only accepting local re homing applications.
