PATIENT OWNERS WHO ARE HOME MOST OF THE TIME
Benji is an absolute delight who loves everybody. He enjoys nothing more than playing tag in the garden with his foster brother before settling down to recharge his batteries in front of the fire. He also enjoys his training especially if it involves treats.
Benji had distemper as a pup which has left him with tremors. These don’t bother him and he is not on any medication. The vets are very happy with him.
Benji loves people but can forget his manners in his eagerness to greet them so large breed experience would be preferred.
As a large bouncy boy Benji would like a home with no small children as he may knock them over in his eagerness to play. Older teenager who are experienced with larger breeds would be ok.
Benji would prefer a home with no cats or small furries
Benji is a calm dog in the home when it is just his foster mum and loves a cuddle. He is fully toilet trained and is currently enjoying four meals a day. He likes to sleep either on the sofa or on a rug in front of the fire.
Benji loves going for walks and gets very excited. He is walked on a halter and collar and double lead but doesn’t pull and just enjoys being out and about. He does get excited meeting new people so his fosterer is currently allowing him a 10 second erring and then moving on. He gets a treat if he is a good boy. This training will need continuing in his forever home.
Benji would like a home with large breed experience who are willing to keep up his training. He would like at least one other large dog who is happy to play and run around the garden with him.
