Bear is an 18-month old Shih Tzu who is being fostered in Berkshire. He is a delightful little lad who needs a lap to sit on in a new forever home. He has not had a great start in life and is hoping for a home that will give him the care and attention he deserves. Bear is partially sighted in one eye and this will need monitoring as he gets older.

People – Bear loves people of all sizes. He likes a brush but not so much a bath.

Dogs – Bear loves being with other dogs and he would be happy in a house where there is another dog but not absolutely essential.

Cats – He meet cats at the vets, they were in crates but he didn’t seem too interested.

In the home – Bear is housetrained and is happy to be left for short periods. He likes a chew or a filled kong, but not so interested in soft toys or balls.

Out and about – Bear enjoys being out and he is progressing well with his lead training. He seems calm around other dogs and humans he meets.

Type of home – Home with another dog would be good for Bear. He likes the company of others. He likes chew toys but is not interested in soft toys at this stage.

Please remember, if you have a dog and it is not neutered, it is against our policies to re-home a dog with you.

Bear is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up to date with his flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet him in his foster home in Berkshire
